Love You using Photo Play To The Moon and Back by Kerryn

Good morning all!
Today I have created a double page using the collection,
Photo Play To The Moon and Back.
This is my second page with this range,
I love the variation in the patterned papers that allow any absolutely any topic.
The photos were changed to B&W as they had a little too much green,
plus I also think the primary colours look more vibrant with the B&W.
A much younger Mr nearly 15 attending his first car race.

A very simple background effect for this page.
I started with a Kraft Cardstock base,
then using some gold ink and Picket Fence Distress Paint,
I have stencilled the background using Tim Holz layering stencil Falling Stars.

Once the background had dried,
I started to build the paper layers from the centre of the page.
The 4x4 photos have been lifted with foam tape
and I've cut the 3x4 journal card from Reach for the Stars paper.
To embellish the page, I have hand cut some words from Rocket Man.

The chipboard stars have come from the Love You to the Moon set.
They have been covered with Wild Honey Distress Paint,
randomly swiped with some gold glitter liquid
and then sealed with Dimensional Magic

All of the stars have been propped up with foam tape for added dimension
and then clustered in odd numbers around the page.
I have hand drawn a faux stitch line with a black pen
around the red base patterned paper, We come in Peace
and the journal card.

The 2 Crafty Love You to the Moon Set was perfectly matched to this collection.
The Moon has been covered with Antique Linen Distress Paint.
Once dry, I have applied the gold glitter liquid around the edges
and then finished with a thick coat of Dimensional Magic to seal the glitter.

The title part of the set 'Love You to the Moon & Back'
has been painted with Candied Apple Distress Paint,
randomly added the gold glitter
and then also sealed with Dimensional Magic.
Love the sparkle!

I have punched out some chevrons from black cardstock
to frame each side of the page.

That's my page for this week.
Thank you for dropping in today.
I'm heading away with my Mum for a scrappy weekend.
I hope you enjoy your weekend and have a chance to create.
Please join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.
