Little Moments with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Unforgettable Collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Got my hands on the new Cocoa Vanilla Studio Unforgettable collection at crop the other week and created a couple of layouts to share with you. Always gorgeous collections. Today's layout:

Little Moments
I have had this pic of Lily for a while, a quick snap in Kmart trying on the large animal heads. She of course chose her favourite - a Panda! The photo was taken in the toy aisle and I wasn't loving the cluttered background, so the solution - fussy cut the photo!
I've just used two pieces of the patterned paper for this layout and focused on the embellishments, layering them around, and tucking them under my photo.
I've used the ephemera pack,  accessory sticker sheet, flair, enamel dots and the tassels & bows, scattering them around my photo.  The bow was perfect to cover up the Kmart tag on the ear.  I've used a little ephemera tag as the title.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Loving These Moments using Kaisercraft Let It Snow by Kerryn Fry

Hello AAS Fans!
I'm back today with my second page created
with the beautiful collection, Kaisercraft Let It Snow.
This week I have actually used it as it was intended
and created a Christmas page from one of last year's photo.
Our delightful Mr 15 being his usual crazy self
and thankfully, allowing me to photograph it.

I have used a sheet of Kraft cardstock as a solid base for the page,
it's hidden, but still there LOL!
The bottom paper is Falling Snowflakes stuck down first.
Then I've hand cut the top section of the paper Twinkle Star
and added cardboard to mount it to the page for added dimension.
The Baubles are from the Collectables pack.
They have attached using foam tape
and their string has been hand drawn with white and silver pens.

The 2 Crafty Winter Twig Branches have been covered with
Evergreen Bough Distress Paint and then swiped with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint.
Once the paint had dried, I have added some silver metallic rub to the branches.
One of the branches has been cut down and added to different sections of the page.
Diamond Stickles has been added to the centre of the stars in the top section.

The photo has been matted with the bottom part of Twinkle Star paper
and added to the page with cardboard and tape.
There are a few more papers under the photo,
and the sentiment has been cut from the bottom of one of the patterned papers.

I've used the flourishes from the Collectables to embellish either side of the photo
and added one of the larger 2 Crafty Winter Twig Branches to the photo as well.

The 2 Crafty Stars were covered with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint,
swiped with metallic rub and the decorated with Diamond Stickles around the edges.

The finishing piece is the 2 Crafty title Loving These Moments.
I've covered the title with a few layers of Picket Fence Distress Paint.
Kept it nice & simple and then stuck it down at the top of the page.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Hopefully you have enjoyed the process of the page.
Have a great weekend
and please join us again on Monday.

#photooftheday by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone!
I loved the Vicki Boutin Wildflower & Honey collection so I'm sharing ANOTHER page today!

I created this simple but effective page with panels of the beautiful papers in the collection, and then finished with the stickers!

I combined square and long stickers with bees and butterflies. I also added some soft black/grey splatters.

Under the photo, I used a larger floral sticker with other stickers - including the word sticker #photooftheday which made a good details.

The combination of these papers and stickers makes it so easy to create fun and bright layouts!

Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Beautiful Girls with Echo Park Hello Baby Girl by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Continuing the baby pages this week with one of my niece and her beautiful new arrival, using the gorgeous Echo Park Hello Baby Girl collection.

Beautiful Girls
Lots of pretty pastels in this collection so to compliment those I have used the darkest paper in the range, the B Side to the "Onesie" paper. Once I had the darker background I have used some of the softer pretty pastels around my photo.
For soft touches I have used a doily and a pretty flower cluster for embellishing as well as a little smattering of wood veneer hearts. I've used one of the new Celebr8 pieces, a heart that I have inked in a creamy colour as a focal embellishment alongside the large Prima flower cluster.

I've finished off with a large title - Beautiful Girls in 2Crafty Chipboard inked in a soft pastel pink.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

It's the Simple Things using Kaisercraft Workshop by Kerryn Fry

Good morning all!
Today I have created a simple page to suit the title.
I have used the masculine range Kaisercraft Workshop.
The black & white photo of Mr 15 was taken at a Science Fair in 2016,
He loved playing with the drag cars.

This page started with a plain black cardstock base,
just a little different for me.
I've changed the photo to B&W to better match the page
and matted the photo with black cardstock.
The 2 Crafty Aztec Arrow was used to frame the photo
and it has been covered with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint.

I've only used small strips of patterned paper under the photo.
The Kaisercraft Collectables are the main embellishments on the page.
The cogs, arrows and words were used to create clusters in three different spots.
I also hand cut some cogs from the paper Gallant
and added 2 Crafty Cute Cogs covered with Distress Paint.

I have used foam tape and scrap cardboard to lift different elements of the page.
Some of the cogs have been layered with the different types,
chipboard and die-cuts combined.

The 2 Crafty title It's the Simple Things was spot on for the photo.
It has been covered with Tarnished Brass Distress Paint.

A clean and uncluttered page this week.
Thank you for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have enjoyed the process.
Have a fabulous crafty weekend
and drop back on Monday for the next project.

A Christmas Wish, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi all,

Today, I am sharing a page I created with the Vicki Boutin - Wildflower & Honey collection. What amazing vibrant colours! And with such great colours, I decided I could make it work with a crazy Christmas photo.

I used three main papers in the range:

I cut in panels and sections, including mounting the photo. I tore edges along one edge.

I placed this on some white cardstock. For some extra detail, I added some black stamping using the Studio Light Grunge stamp set. To this I added some Colour Blast Bling splatters.

In these close ups, you can see how I used 2Crafty chipboard and Vicki Boutin embellishments to finish the page.

The main cluster contains two Christmas 2 Crafty chipboard elements: A Christmas Wish title and a Brushstroke Tree.  I inked these and embossed them (I used Colour Blast embossing from my stash).

I included a thicker flower sticker under the Christmas tree, which I love!

I added another butterfly sticker and little plus sticker and word strip.

What a beautiful collection! Hurry in store now, before it sells out!

Thanks for looking

Amanda

Welcome Little One with Photoplay Snuggle Up by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

A super cute page of my kids meeting their cousins baby.
Photoplay Snuggle Up is such a cute baby collection and the pinks and
greys are perfect for my layout:

Welcome Little One

I mounted my white cardstock onto some plain pink background paper to create a soft frame.  Next I layered up some of the pretty patterned Snuggle Up papers before adding my photos. I've left a lot of white space on this page.

I've added some pretty Green Tara flowers to the corners of my page , in the peachy pink and white tones of my layout. A small journaling circle to introduce the baby.

Finishing off with the perfect title - 2Crafty - Welcome Little One

Me & My Dad using Echo Park Paper Co Teen Spirit Boy by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing my first page created with the cool collection,
Echo Park Paper Co Teen Spirit Boy.
I absolutely love the bright colours and they were perfect for this photo.
A great snap of my two most favourite males,
taken at the Royal Adelaide Show in 2012.

The page was started with the usual Kraft Cardstock.
I have used Distress Oxides Ink Chipped Sapphire & Evergreen Bough
with Kaisercraft Designer Template Scattered Stars to colour the background.
I've used a white gel pen to outline a few of the stars.

The photo has been matted with black cardstock
and I've layered the colourful patterned papers under the photo.
The 2 Crafty Polaroid Frame was covered with a mixture of
Distress Oxide Inks Abandoned Coral and Craved Pumpkin.
I have used it to frame a tag from the Ephemera pack.
Once the ink had dried, I have added a coat of Dimensional Magic.
The arrows and 'Killing It' have been hand cut from the papers.

I have used another Ephemera piece to balance the other side of the photo.
The black frame has been hand cut with a knife from the quote
and then stuck down under the main piece.
I have added foam tape under the quote.

The string has been used on the page to create a banner across the base of the photo.
I have added a bow either end of the banner
and used the word 'smile' as the flags, also from the Ephemera.

The 2 Crafty title Me & My Dad has been covered with Candied Apple Distress Oxide.
Then stamped using white ink and Kaisercraft Textured Stamp - Grid Texture.
The title has been finished with a coat of Dimensional Magic
and mounted on foam tape.

That is my bright & fun page.
Thanks for dropping by today
and hope you have a lovely weekend.
Please join us again on Monday for the next project.
