Limited Edition using Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!
Hope you are all keeping warm.
Today I am sharing the first page I have created with
the collection, Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul.
I have found ore photos from the archives
and these ones I just couldn't resist.
At 18 months old, this little cutie was full of beans
and always made us smile.

The Kraft Cardstock background was a great base
for the softer colours in this collection.
and Distress Oxide Inks to create the background effect.
Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke were the perfect match.
I've layered the colours at three different points surrounding the photos.

'In His Element' has been added as a sub title.
I've backed the board with patterned paper to add a little more yellow to the page.
The hearts from the Pea Pod Parts Die-Cuts
were a great addition either side of the board.
Some foam tape have given them some dimension.

The embellishment cluster in the bottom right corner of the page
has been created with a 2 Crafty Clock Face,
2 Crafty small Polaroid Frame and a few die-cuts.
I have painted the Clock Face and added some patterned paper.
The Frame has been covered with patterned paper
and then backed with patterned paper to use for some journaling.

I have punched out some tags using a snippet of green from the Bite Size bits
and a piece for Choose Joy paper.
With some string and a few more hearts lifted with foam tape,
I have finished the small cluster below the title.
Using a white pen, I have doodled a faux stitch line on different elements.

The main title 2 Crafty Limited Edition has been covered
with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint.
I have then stamped the title using Kaisercraft Textured Stamp and white ink.
The title has been added to the page using foam tape to separate it from the B&W photos.

"Tourist Mode", by Amanda Hartmann

Hello AAS fans!

I was lucky enough to travel to Europe with my sister and friend this year and I have
 finally printed some photos.
So now I get to scrapbook some of my travels and using the

With papers in the range, combined with the puffy stickers, this page came together so easily.

I started with Explore paper as the background, and layered New Places paper on top. I also used some Explore paper to mount the photo. Pinkfresh Studios has some lovely packaging and I used the backing card to the Puffy Stickers to add another layer mount under the photo.

Next I cut apart the journal cards and tickets from the Bucket List paper. I layered these down the page and under the photo to create detail and interest. All papers have had their edges distressed.

You can see the combined journal cards and tickets from the Bucket List paper and the Puffy Stickers in each of these close ups.

I'm so excited to start scrapping and sharing these travel photos and pages.

Thanks for looking today,
Amanda

Wild with Simple Stories Oh, Happy Day collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Back again with another Simple Stories Oh, Happy Day! Collection.
How perfect is this paper for these alpaca photos?

Wild
Inspired by the super cute llamas/alpacas patterned paper and embellishments. Still on trend and cute too! Loving this paper, I wanted to show it off, so I have used a full strip of it down the length of my page. Then I have added some of the plainer patterns to compliment the paper.

I've again used some more of the funky stickers to embellish my layout and for my title.

A super cute llama sticker to add a little embellishment cluster.

Thanks for stopping by
till next week

Miracle using Kaisercraft Antiquities by Kerryn Fry

Hello out there!
Kerryn here and today I'm sharing my first page created with
Kaisercraft Antiquities.
This collection has a gorgeous combination of muted colours,
with a nice pop of yellow, just love it.
The B&W photos are another from the archives,
a very young Mr 15, aged 1 and his Mumma.

Surprise, surprise no kraft to be seen?
Well there is, but it's hidden and is just there for support.
The base papers are Heirloom in the top third
and Precious in the bottom two thirds.
I have covered the join of the papers with the ruler strip from Beloved.

The paper layers under the photo are One of a Kind, Treasured
and the reverse side of Beloved, raised with foam tape.
The 2 Crafty Medium Filmstrip has been cut in half,
I've added smaller versions of the main photo to the filmstrip.
Then I have coloured the filmstrip with swipes of metallic gold ink
and then added touched of Gold Glitter Ink.

The Kaisercraft Collectables provided all of the embellishments.
The flowers and butterflies have been lifted with foam tape
and I've added highlights with the Glitter Ink.
The clock face, leaves and journal cards finished off the main cluster.

The sub-title was cut from the bottom strip of one of the papers,
it's been cut in half and given dimension with foam tape.
The 2 Crafty title What a wonderful Miracle you are has been treated the same as the filmstrip,
swiped with ink and then highlighted with Glitter Ink.

Thank you for visiting today,
we appreciate your support.
Enjoy your weekend, stay warm
and get creative.
Please drop by again on Monday for Fiona's next project.

"Grand sand designs", by Amanda H

Hi AAS fans!
Today I am sharing a new summer page using the fun and fabulous,
Simple Stories: Sunshine & Blue Skies collection.

This page was used by creating layers of papers in the range (papers listed below). I used a combination of the solid papers and patterned papers.

Embellishing of the page is done using stickers:
Gold puffy hearts and vines.

For the title, I combined different alpha stickers - gold thickers and Pinkfresh mini alphas.

In each cluster, I used an assortment of shaped stickers, word stickers and puffy stickers.

Another summery page with a perfect collection!
Thanks for looking today!

Be Bright, Be Bold with Simple Stories Oh Happy Day by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have the fun and colourful, Oh Happy Day collection by Simple Stories.
Bright happy colours in this range:

Be Bright, Be Bold, Be You

For this layout I was inspired by the elements paper, it gave me the opportunity to do some fussy cutting. I've cut out the camera, the three houses and the cloud and rainbow from the sheet.  These are the focal point of my design and run across the page with my photo.

I've stuck to a black and white photo here as the patterned paper has so many colours I want my photo to be visible!

The camera I've added a small heart sticker and a flair button.

I love these little houses, they are the cutest. I mounted the end ones, so they are slightly higher than the centre large house, then finished them with some journaling words from the cardstock stickers.

The rainbow and cloud were perfect for a title and I could tuck the rainbow under my paper strip. I roughed the edges up a little on the rainbow for some texture.

My layout was completed with some more stickers from the cardstock sticker sheet and some enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Together using Pinkfresh Studios Out and About by Kerryn Fry

Hello AAS faithfuls!
Today I am sharing my second project created with the travel collection,
Pinkfresh Studios Out and About.
The rare photo of my man and I was taken by my Mum,
it was our first trip to the snow August 2014.

I started the page with my favourite Kraft Cardstock.
Using a few different size snowflake stamps and white ink,
I have randomly stamped the background.
I have decorated the centre of the stamped snowflakes with
both Diamond Stickles and Kaisercraft Pearls.

With the scrapbook papers Explore & Travel Icons,
I have cut snowflakes with a few different dies.
Some snowflakes have been glued straight to the background,
others have been lifted with foam tape to add the extra dimension.

The 2 Crafty Polaroid Frame has been covered with the paper Bucket List.
I've used the frame on the photo to draw the eyes to our faces
and to take away some of the bust part of the photo.

The Cardstock Stickers were great to embellish the page
and pick up a few of the other colours on the page.
More foam tape was used to lift a few of those elements.

The main paper on the page was Tickets
and then I've added a few papers under the photo.
I've hand cut a few extra pieces from the papers to add to the page,
the circles are from the Explore paper

A few more Cardstock Stickers also decorated
some of the centres of the larger snowflakes and
a few more pearls were added too.

Once dry, I have swiped the title with gold ink.
The finishing touch was some Diamond Stickles to the main word 'Together'
That's all for this week,
I hope you have enjoyed the process.
Thank you for dropping in and enjoy your weekend!
Please join us again on Monday for Fiona's next page.

"Love story", by Amanda Hartmann

Hi all,

Welcome to another Wednesday share day from me! I have combined some elements from a few collections and added some mixed media. The hero's of the page, are the wonderful floral diecuts from the Pink Paislee Horizon collection.

For the base I layered Kaisercraft- Paisley Days - "Smiles" wood grain paper on some white cardstock. I cut the bottom border strip from the Kaisercraft paper and used this across the page too.

At the top edge of the page, I added some stencilling: using white gesso through the Kaisercraft Mandela Template. Next, some colour splatters. For this I used: Distress Stain in Cracker Pistachio and Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Just Blue. I also splattered more white gesso.

Once this was dry, I added the photo and built up the layers of those beautiful Pink Paislee Horizon die cut flowers.

Additional stickers added to the page are some stars and word stickers from: Jillibean Soup: Rainbow Roux Label stickers, as well as some Wishing Bubbles in Taffy.

For the title, I used a lovely 2Crafty chipboard piece. A perfect title for this anniversary photo. I inked and added stain to the chipboard before finishing with dimensional magic. For the "19", I used black sticker numbers from Jillibean Soup: Rainbow Roux Label stickers set.

That's my page.... I do love how the colour combinations came together on this page!
