Original using Echo Park Paper Little Dreamer Boy by Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!
Today's page has been created with the collection,
Echo Park Paper Little Dreamer Boy.
The primary colours in this range always look
good on the Kraft cardstock.
The photo of Mr H was taken in Summer 2012.
An afternoon at the beach, playing in the sand
and watching the QE2 come in to dock.

The page started with a clean piece of Bazzill 12x12 Kraft Cardstock.
I've layered the patterned papers, both landscape
and portrait, with a mixture of dark and light patterns.
I've outlined the biggest patterned paper layer
with faux stitching and a black gel pen.

The Element Stickers provided the sun & cloud stickers.
They've been added to the page with foam tape
to create another layer on the page.
The mountain range 'Adventure Awaits' has been
hand cut from the Multi Journaling cards.
I've used the paper remnants to create the journal strips
and backed each strip with black cardstock

The 2 Crafty Funky Stars have been covered with
Black Archival Ink and then backed with the coloured stripes
on the reverse side of Multi Journaling Cards.
I've hand cut some stars from the reverse side
The stars have been added with foam tape.

The word stickers are also from the Element Sticker sheet.
I've mounted the stickers to black cardstock
and then used foam tape to keep the elements lifted.
The 2 Crafty Chevron Bits have been covered
with black ink and then the 'Go!' sticker added with foam tape.

The 2 Crafty title Original has been
covered with Crackling Campfire Distress Paint.
I've used foam tape to add it to the page
and then with a black pen,
I've outlined each letter of the title with a faux stitch border.
The finishing touch is the Element Sticker
'You make me happy', mounted on black cardstock.

Thank you for visiting the page today.
A simple page with plenty of colour.
Hopefully you have been inspired to get some crafting done.
Enjoy your weekend
and join us again on Monday.

Sweet Girl with Echo Park Little Dreamer by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have another layout to share with the super cute Little Dreamer
paper by Echo Park:

Sweet Girl

I've gone with some fun, torn, paper layers for the background on this layout before
using a bolder colour to mount my photo and adding some doily bits to add texture
under the torn layers.

I've used some of the puffy stickers to embellish my page and added some
little flower clusters with with some 2Crafty leaves and Green Tara flowers.

I've added extra dimension by fussy cutting some of the little rainbows and
mounting them over the top with some foam tape:

Magic using Simple Stories Say Cheese Main Street by Kerryn Fry

Hey AAS Faithfuls!
Today I'm sharing my final page using the amazing collection,
Simple Stories Say Cheese Main Street.
I've had so much fun with this range, can you tell?
The B&W photo of Mr H and myself.
It's our first visit, as a family,
to see snow at Victoria's Lake Mountain in 2014.

I've used a combination of Bazzill Raven
and Bazzill Kraft cardstocks to create the base of the page.
The centre of the black cardstock has been cut out
and saved for the matting of the photo.
The Kraft has been decorated with Distress Oxides
and the Simple Stories 6x6 Magical Fireworks stencil.
I've used Candied Apple, Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed.
Easier to see in the close-up photos.

I've layered patterned papers Full of Smiles
the reverse side of the 6x4 Elements vertically down the page.
The cut down 3x4 journal card has been cut
from the 3x4 Elements paper and has been tucked under the photo.
A black Gel Pen has been used to outline some of the papers.

The YAY! banner has been cut from the other part of the 3x4 journal card.
It has been lifted with foam tape for dimension
and added across the top left corner of the photo.

The 2 Crafty Pointing Finger has been covered with
Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint.
I've cut out a 4x6 piece from the 6x4 Elements paper,
cut it half and tucked each piece under the sides of the photo.

The 'Smiles from ear to ear' has been cut form the 3x4 Elements paper.
I've used the black pen to outline each box
and outlined toe whole card.
The small camera has been hand cut from
the 2x2 Elements paper and added with foam tape.

The 'Say cheese' heart has also been
cut from the 2x2 Elements paper.
It was added to the page with foam tape
and then the heart oulined with black pen.

The snowflakes have been punched and
die cut from the reverse side of the 3x4 Elements paper.
I've used Stickles Glitter Glue to highlight the stripes
on the full snowflakes and gems for the centres
of the more delicate snowflakes.

The title for the page 'MAGIC' has been hand cut
from the 6x4 Elements paper.
I've used Stickles Glitter Glue to decorate the dots in the title.
The title has been lifted with foam tape.
The finishing touch to the page was the black ruled outline
around the edge of the Kraft Cardstock.

I hope you have enjoyed the steps today.
It's official, I am all out of this collection!
Have a fabulous weekend, happy crafting
and please join us again on Monday.

Go Girl with Echo Park Little Dreamer by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I am sharing a layout of my great niece, and what perfect paper to use, the gorgeous Echo Park Little Dreamer range in the prettiest colours!

Go Girl

For this layout, I went with a simple linear design on a neutral patterned paper background. Love the colour on the background paper - perfect match for her dress! Then the darker pink paper compliments it so well!

I've used the puffy stickers to embellish my layout, love the dimension they give without being too high for those who prefer a flatter page.

I've used some older thickers in black to really pop off the page and then added some matching black stars to tie my page together.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Pure Joy using Echo Park Paper Little Dreamer Girl by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I have created my page with a beautiful collection,
The photo is one of my Great-Nieces,
taken at her very first Pageant in 2014.

The base of the page is Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
I've layered the patterned papers down of the cardstock,
the photo has been matted with the reverse side of Dancing Dots
and then lifted with scrap cardboard for dimension.
A white gel pen has been used to highlight certain elements on the page,
I've used small dots to outline the pink scalloped sticker
and small scallops to outline the reverse side of the Multi Journaling Cards paper.

I have hand-cut multiple flowers from the Dreamy Floral paper
and used them to build three embellishment clusters on the page.
The top cluster includes stickers from the Element Sheet,
flowers and hand-cut rainbow clouds, all lifted with foam tape.

The 2 Crafty Window Shutter has been covered
with white gesso and white ink.
The window ledge has been covered with patterned paper.
I've backed the window with the reverse side of Rainbow Magic paper.
and then highlighted each panel with a white gel pen.
The stickers used to decorate the window are
all from the Element Stick Sheet.

The 2 Crafty Critters were a fun chipboard addition to the page.
The caterpillar has been hand-painted with Distress Paints,
Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive and Black Soot.
Once the paint was dry, I've added a layer of Dimensional Magic.

The Lady Bug and 2 Crafty Flower Cluster were also hand-painted.
The Lady Bug was covered with Festive Berries and Black Soot Distress Paint.
The Flower Cluster  was covered with Tumbled Glass,
touches of Stormy Sky and Peeled Paint Distress Paint.
Both have been finished with Dimensional Magic.

The 2 Crafty title Pure Joy has been covered
I've finished it with Dimensional Magic
and added to the page with foam tape.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Hopefully you have been inspired to create.
Have a fabulous weekend
and please join us again on Monday.

My Beautiful Girls with Simple Stories Cottage Fields by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have the Simple Stories Cottage

My Beautiful Girls

I love the background paper and wanted that to be central to my page. I've added another paper and then I've used torn edges and doilies to create a soft feel to my layout.

I've used a soft pink ink on the frame that highlights my photos and then added some inky - tiny dots to add a little grunginess to tie in with the background paper.

My title is a combo of Pinkfresh Studio alphas, love the large Beautiful.

Good Vibes using Simple Stories Say Cheese Main Street by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone, Happy Friday!
Today I'm sharing another creation using the collection,
In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE this collection!
The 5x3 B&W photo is of my two most favourite humans,
my partner and Mr H at the 2012 Swimming Championships.
A great night out watching our Olympic hopefuls.

This is a simple, clean page this week.
Lots of patterned paper layers,
with a touch of Bazzill Raven cardstock.
I've used a border punch on the black cardstock strip.
The journal spot and words are from the Journal Bits
and the photo is sitting on a 4x6 Element piece.

The word 'FUN' has been hand cut from a 3x4 Element piece.
Each letter has been lifted with foam tape.
I have used a ruler and black pen to draw lines vertically
down the paper strips and around the photo.

The stars have been hand cut from the Dreams Come True paper.
They have been added to the page
with foam tape, in clusters of three.
The black journal spot has been outlined with faux stitching.

Some extra words from the Journal Bits
to create a sub-title on the page.

base-coated with gesso and then covered
with Black Soot Distress Paint.
The title is sitting on a 2 Crafty Splat Puddle,
covered with Distress paint and lifted with foam tape.
The camera is from the Journal Bits

I've used the B Sides of the paper with pretty florals to create this page and gone with the soft feminine white background with a white cutfile and some paint splatters.

I've used the pretty non-baby themed stickers from the elements sticker sheet and finished off with the cute Foam Thickers for my title.
