Good Vibes with Simple Stories Kate & Ash by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I have another layout to share with Simple Stories fun teen themed papers
 Kate & Ash.
This one documents my youngests obsession with Starbucks.

Good Vibes

I love a woodgrain background and this paper was perfect to make the bright fun Simple Stories papers pop.  I've layered these up to fit my photos then added a doily - love the contrast of one on woodgrain!

The perfect embellishments in the form of little drinks in the chipboard sticker collection - the chipboard helps to add some dimension to the page.

The good vibes title also part of the chipboard stickers and then I finished with some Simple Stories word stickers from my stash

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Breathe It All In using Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves by Kerryn Fry

Morning everyone!
This week I've gone back to creating with the collection,
Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves.
I'm sharing a page with some gorgeous
autumn photos of my great-niece,
with the back drop of some beautiful Ornamental Pear Trees.

It is a Kraft cardstock base under there,
but only a small amount is exposed top and bottom of the page.
The patterned papers are the stars this week.
Lots of layering of the papers, one cut on an angle
and gold foil paper for a shine.
The main paper is Crisp Air
I have punched a border strip of gold
and die-cut some leaves.

The embellishments are from the Collectables pack.
I've used foam tape to add extra layers on the page
and used the leaves to create clusters on the page

The 2 Crafty Maple Leaves have been covered
with Distress Paints, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint and Ground Espresso.
Once the leaves were dried, I've stamped the leaves with

The leaf clusters are a combination of chipboard,
die-cuts and metallic paper.
The journal spot, heart and words are all from the Collectables pack

I've used the Kaisercraft Autumn Leaf Decorative Die-Cut
to cut a large metallic leaf.

The wooden leaves are from the Lucky Dip Flourish Pack.
The wooden title Breathe It All In is also from the Flourish Pack.
Love the natural wood with the metallic paper.

Thank you for visiting the blog today,
I hope you are inspired by the project.
Have a fabulous weekend
and join us again on Monday.

Fun to be One with Pebbles Peek-a-Boo by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have a cute layout to share using the adorable Pebbles Peek-A-Boo you collection. Comes in both "girl" and "boy" ranges but they work well together too.

Fun to be One

Love this photo of my niece and her beautiful bub who just turned one and the Pebbles Collection was perfect!
I love the background paper I've chose- lots of cute, baby words just perfect. I added a couple of sploshes of pink paint to mess it up a little but not enough to take away from the paper.

Next a couple of paper layers using both the ranges and a doily.

How cute are the stickers on the Accent Sticker sheet? Adore the little Mum & Bub deer.

Then I've added a couple of Green Tara flowers and the cutest puffy heart from the latest Cocoa Vanilla Collection - Daydream.

Finishing off with my title using the Rose Puffy Stickers and a smattering of enamel hearts.

Thank for stopping by
Till next week

Choose Happy using Echo Park Paper School Rules by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I have created a second page using the collection,
Echo Park Paper School Rules.
The photos of Mr H were taken
at his very first school walk-a-thon.
Go Team Green!

I've used Bazzill Kraft Cardstock for the base paper.
The background effect has been created with the
and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.
The paper stars have been hand-cut from the reverse
side of Alphabet paper.
I've hand-cut the 'school is cool' from the Alphabet paper too
Each element has been lifted with foam tape.

The frame and 'Good Job' have come from the Ephemera pack.
I've cut the frame in half, backed it with patterned paper
and used it as a tab on the page.
The fake stitch line has been doodled with a black pen.

The journal spot is from the Ephemera pack
and add to the page with foam tape.
The 2 Crafty Light Bulb has been covered
with Mustard Seed Distress Paint.

I've hand-cut the '5' from the Numbers paper
and used the Kaisercraft Alpha Set for the letters.
The 'Apple' and words are form the Ephemera pack.
I've punched a strip of Raven Cardstock for a decorative trim
and added at the bottom of the photos.

The 2 Crafty Choose happy title has been covered
with Wild Honey Distress Paint.
I've used foam tape to add it to the page
for and extra layer.

Shine Bright with Simple Stories Kate & Ash by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have a layout to share created with the new Kate & Ash collection
by Simple Stories.  Perfect for teenagers!

Shine Bright
The outdoorsy feel of this paper determined my choice of Kraft Cardstock and I have added some masking of some little flowers in orange ink to break up the plainess of the Kraft.

Next it was layer up some papers, I've added a paper from the Pebbles Peek-a-Boo boy collection as I needed some green on my page to tie in with all the green in the background of my photo.

Embellishments are a mixture - some Kate & Ash foam and chipboard stickers, 2Crafty Chipboard butterflies and some bits and bobs from my stash.

I love the foam thickers - perfect titles and then some journaling words from an older Simple Stories collection.

Thanks for stopping by

It's the Little Things using Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!
Today I'm sharing my second page created
with the collection, Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves.
The perfect autumn photos of Mr H
taken at Botanic Park in 2010.
He loved to collect leaves.
Absolutely LOVE this collection!

The base is Kraft Cardstock, of course!
The background effect has been created in layers.
It started with the Crafters Workshop 6x6 Chevron stencil,
then using a combination of Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint
and Forest Moss Distress Inks.
I have inked the cardstock in 3 main areas of the page.
The second layer is the Crafters Workshop Mini Tiny Circles
and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
I've used a gold pen to highlight a few chevrons in different spots.
The cardstock has been inked around the edge with Crushed Olive Distress Ink.

to stamp the skeleton leaf and small solid leaves onto a scrap piece of cardstock.
The Collectables pack provided some words and the bird.
The stamped leaves have been fussy cut
and added with foam tape to add layers to the page.
The photos have been outlined with gold pen.

The 2 Crafty Maple Leaves have been covered
with Distress Paints Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint.
Once the paint was dry, I have outlined the leaves with the gold pen.
The wooden leaves are from the Fallen Leaves Lucky Dip Wooden Flourish Pack
I have die cut some smaller maple leaves from metallic gold paper.

I've hand cut the smaller leaves from the reverse side of Warm Breeze
and used them to frame the sides of the photos.

The Wooden Flourish Pack also had the circle disk
with the maple leaf engraved in it.
The stickers used for the date are from the Sticker sheet.

with Peeled Paint Distress Paint.
The second layer is gold ink and the Kaisercraft Texture Tiny Spots stamp
I've used foam tape for extra dimension.

Love You with P13 The Four Seasons by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I have a sweet & simple share using the new P13 Four Seasons collection.
This paper range is just so pretty!

Love You
For my layout I have started with Summer Paper 04. The design on this paper makes it so easy to pop a photo down and add some complimentary embellishments.

First I have chosen a 6x4 landscape photo and matted it with 2 different patterned papers, then added a doily that I cut in half to add some extra detail without being too loud for the paper.
Some gorgeous Green Tara flowers in the perfect matchy colours then some matching Green Tara leaf sprays. Finishing touches with a few stickers from the Four Seasons range.
Then to complete the page,  a long 2 crafty chipboard title in a delicate font that I have simply inked a darker shade of pink to stand out.
Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Kindergarten using Echo Park Paper School Rules By Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone.
Today I've created my first page using the collection,
Echo Park Paper School Rules
The photos are Mr H from 2008,
during his kindergarten year.

The page started with my favourite Bazzill Kraft cardstock base,
then using Wild Honey Distress Ink and a stencil,
I have added some interest to the background.
I've also inked around the edge of the cardstock.

The Numbers paper is the main layer,
I've used a black pen to outline some of the numbers on the paper.
The tags have been created using Airplane and Alphabet papers.
I've added some string and also outlined with the pen.

The numbers have been die-cut from the Alphabet paper,
I've doodled the heart with pen
and added a little glitter highlight to the centre.
One photo has been matted with Black cardstock
and then I have punched out a black border to use across the page.

The Ephemera pack was great to embellish the page,
they have been added with foam tape.
I've die-cut a few small tags from the Airplane paper
to add the date and place to the page.

The words writing and pupil were hand-cut from School Day
and added to the page with foam tape for some dimension.

The 2 Crafty title Kindergarten was from the Mini School Class Titles.
I have covered it with Candy Apple Distress Paint.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Enjoy your weekend
and hope there is plenty of time for crafting.
