Pinkfresh/Altnew Celebrate by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week have a page with the delightful Pinkfresh Altnew collaboration range -
Celebrate for this photo of my youngest in the garden. 
Love

I've started my layout by fussy cutting this amazing large flower from the This Day
paper - isn't it just divine?
Next I have added a watercolour background using watered down Dylusions and
Distress Inks with lots of splatters. I love how subtle the background is and how it compliments the flower. 

The title "love" is from another Pinkfresh Collection, the colours perfectly blend with the darker pink tones of the flower. 

I've chosen a small photo to not detract from the large flower and added a small cluster of embellishments from the Celebrate ephemera packet. 

I've added some paper strips to the side of the cardstock. Then continuing with the ephemera pack, I've added a little cluster to the top left corner of my layout to balance out my page.

Beyond Words Using Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream By Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!Today I'm sharing another page created withbeautiful collection, Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream.The colours in the photo worked perfectlywith the palette in this range.The gorgeous girls in the photo are two of my niecesat another niece's 21st celebration.

Surprise, surprise, no cardstock in my page this week.

I have used to papers from the collection to create the base.

Sun shower is the yellow border paper,

I've cut out a 9" square from the centre of the paper

and will keep that piece aside for another page.

The main paper is Sweet Serenity

An awesome mixed media printed background

that blends all of the colours in the collection together.

The top embellishment cluster has been created from hand cut elements,

the flowers are from the Garden Variety paper 

and the butterfly from the All Aflutter paper.

I've used foam tape to lift the elements.

I've used the Happy Place paper to hand cut elements

to add to the top of the photo and add the small hearts to the page.

These elements have been lifted with foam tape.

The main base paper has been highlighted 

with a scalloped border using a white pen.

I've also drawn a fake stitched border around the photo.

The 2 Crafty Heart Arrow has been given a coat of gesso

And then swiped with Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.

I have backed the heart with patterned paper

and stuck it down on a hand cut flower cluster.

The journal tag is from the Cardstock Stickers,

it has been added with foam tape for dimension

and then I've added some string to tie a bow.

The cluster to the left side of the photo has been created

with more hand cut elements from the patterned papers.

The rainbow was cut from Up in the Clouds,

the flower is from Garden Variety

and the row of hearts and word 'beautiful'

have been cut from Happy Place.

The 2 Crafty title Beyond Words was coated with gesso

and then lightly swiped with Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.

The light layer of paint has let the white gesso 

show through the paint, giving a rustic finish.

Little Sweet Heart with CVS Daydream by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have a layout using the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream Collection. 
The colours were perfect for this photo of me and my great niece. 
Little Sweet Heart

For this layout I wanted to focus on that pretty floral so decided to go with a tearing design to add some layers and texture. 

I mounted my photo with some of the woodgrain paper and then hit up the ephemera pack to embellish around my photo.  

I've used the flairs and fabric hearts from the collection to add extra detail to my layout and finished with the die-cut titles - so many words to make so many titles!

Captivating using Simple Stories Simple Vintage Great Escape By Kerryn Fry

Hello crafters!Today I have created a double page using the fabulous collectionSimple Stories Simple Vintage Great Escape.I have gathered a series of photos froma day outside when Mr H was around 18 months old.I love how well this collection works with these photosand just adore this memory.

Using my standard Bazzill Kraft Cardstock as the base,

I've used the 6x6 Butterfly Fern Stencil and Distress Inks

to create a foliage background using Mowed Lawn, 

Shabby Shutters and Walnut Stain.

The edges of the cardstock have been inked with Walnut Stain too.

The embellishment clusters have been created with a

combination of the Foliage Bits and hand cut elements

from the 4x6 Elements page.

Some elements have been raised with foam tape

The photos have been lifted with foam tape

and inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

The journal spot was hand cut from the 4x4 Elements paper

and then layered with another piece from the 4x6 Element paper

The 2 Crafty Mushrooms have been covered with 

Antique Linen and Crackling Campfire Distress Paints.

The stalk of the mushroom has been 

highlighted with Scattered Straw Distress Paint

and the edges have been inked with Walnut Stain.

I finished the cap of the mushroom with a coat of Dimensional Magic,

only covering the Crackling Campfire.

There are more elements from the Foliage Bits

to build up behind the mushrooms

and hand cut pieces from Born to Roam.

The 2 Crafty Grass Clumps were covered 

with Gesso as a base coat.

Then I've used a mix of green Distress Paints,

Forest Moss, Peeled Paint and Evergreen Bough

to colour the grass, with added drops of Dimensional Magic.

The 2 Crafty title Captivating was covered

with white gesso first and left to dry.

The chipboard was then coloured with a light 

layer of Walnut Stain Distress Paint.

Puppy Love with Bella Blvd Cooper by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
I have another page to share today using the fabulous cut outs by Bella Blvd. 

I've used the same cut out from the Cooper collection as last week - they are great value as you can make several pages from the one packet!!
I have teamed it up with the Bella Blvd Cooper papers this week as they are too cute!
I particularly love the little foot prints I used to back the file, and co-ordinating
it with the stripey paper.

I've added some ephemera words and some enamel heart shapes to complete my page, and finished with a 2Crafty chipboard title I've inked to match some of the ephemera hearts.

Just Hanging About using Cocoa Vanilla Daydream by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!Today I'm sharing my second page that was created with the beautiful collection Cocoa Vanilla Daydream.Some fun photos of Mr H and his cousin from a few years ago,having fun on a trampoline and posing for me.I love how well the colours in their clothesmatch the colours in the range.

I've used Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock as the base for this page.This heavy weighted cardstock is perfect for doing a mixed media background.
I've used the simple clear plastic packaging technique.Swiping the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink onto the plastic,spraying it with water and then applying it to the cardstock.I've dried off each layer with a heat tool and added a second and third layer to darken in some areas.
The second colour is Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide,swiped on a media mat, sprayed with waterand then flicked on the page with a paint brush.

The 2 Crafty Chevron Bits have been coveredwith Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.I've used them to draw the eyes to the sub-titleat the base of the page.
The patterned papers have been layered vertically on the page.I've embellished the top right corner with Cardstock stickersand used foam tape to layer the stickers.

The strip of rainbows from the Happy Place paper

have been cut out and placed behind the bottom photo.

I've drawn in a fake stitch live across the bottom with a black pen.

The small hearts are from the Cardstock Stickers. 

The flower cluster is a combination of stickers

and hand cut flowers from the Garden Variety paper.

The subtitle words are a banner from Happy Place

and a cardstock sticker banner.

The 2 Crafty title Just Hanging About has been covered with 

Fossilized Amber Distress Paint to pop the yellow in the papers.

I've used strips of patterned paper, cut into banners,

to create a base for the title.

The butterflies have been hand-cut from All Aflutter

and added to the page with foam tape.

Faithful Friend with Bella Blvd and Pebbles Inc. The Avenue by Fiona Johnstone

This week I have another share with the gorgeous Pebbles Inc. The Avenue by Jen Hadfield to share and I have combined it with Bella Blvds super fun Cut-Outs.

I love these cut-outs from Bella Blvd, perfect if you don't have a cutting machine. You can find this and lots of new styles here. I've teamed the Faithful Friend cut out up with this cute puppy paper in Pebbles, The Avenue collection and matching papers from the range. I've used the papers to mount onto the cut-outs. 

Love the woodgrain background, perfect for outdoorsy pics! I've mounted the cut-out onto the paper and embellished my layout with some flowers from the icon ephemera. 

Love the cute puppy from the ephemera pack, the perfect touch.  Then a few heart enamel shapes and some word stickers to finish off the page.

Embrace Today using Carta Bella By The Sea by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!Today I am sharing my final page created with the collection,Carta Bella By The Sea.I had loads of fun putting this beach page together.The photos are my two favourite people,taken at Middleton Beach a few years ago.

The base paper is Beach Woodgrain.

I've cut the width down of the base paper 

to add vertical strips of Sea & Sand.

I've doodled fake stitching lines 

down the side of the strips with a white pen.

The 2 Crafty Seagrass has been covered 

with Stormy Sky Distress Paint.

Once the paint was dry, I've outlined the grass

with white gel pen.

The 2 Crafty Fat Fish have been covered with a

combination of Candied Apple and Hickory Smoke Distress Paints.

Once the paint was dry, I've used pens to do the eyes

and added more stitch lines with a pen.

The final layer is a coat Dimensional Magic

and a sticker from the Element Sticker Sheet.

The 2 Crafty Circle Scallop Frames have been covered

with Speckled Egg Distress Paint.

I've outlined the circles of the frame with stitch lines.

Two of the frames have been used for the photos,

the other circles have been covered with patterned paper

or backed with patterned paper.

The embellishment cluster at the base of the page

has been created with stickers from the Element Sheet.

The pieces have been added to the page with foam tape.

The sub-title 'Sand, Sea, Beach are all stickers

from the Element Sticker Sheet.

Sand & Beach sit flat on the Seagrass,

the word Sea has been lifted with foam tape.

I've added 'Bubbles' to the page using a 

small circle stencil and white pen.

The using Ranger Stickles Gltter Glue,

I'v highlighted the circles with a little sparkle.

The 2 Crafty title Embrace Today has been covered 

with Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.

I've hand-cut the Lighthouses from Journaling Cards

and used them as a base for the title.

The journaling strips have been cut from

the reverse side of the 3x4 Journaling Cards.

They've been added to the page with foam tape.
