PS I Love You Layout by Rachel Lowe:

Happy Monday everyone!

Today I have a layout using the gorgeous PS I Love You collection by Kaisercraft.

This is a very vintage/shabby chic collection.

The soft pinks and roses are just stunning.

In my stash I found this cross stitch frame. These can be easily found in most craft stores and how gorgeous are they to frame a photo!

Firstly I splattered my woodgrain background paper with white colour shine.

I then cut two strips from the pink rose paper and small floral paper and layered over each other.
I then added some sewing.

The die cuts are so pretty (and there are so many in the pack).

I picked out all the roses and then layered around the cross stitch frame until I was happy. I foam taped the upper roses to add height.

I tucked a die cut doily under the upper, left rose.

I added a die cut journal block and before attaching I sewed on the bottom of it. I then added some of the wooden flourishes to the journal block (love and a heart).

I then took my 2Crafty Chipboard title 'happiness is this' and painted it in antique white. When dry I attached to the right of the lower rose bunch.

To finish off I added a CVS flair and then added die cut butterflies randomly over my page.

Below is the full product list for this layout which with a lot of your left overs will help you create the layout I have to show case next week which will be my last for All About Scrapbooks.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a wonderful week.

Let's hold hands
by Tammy Klingner

Good morning everybody.
Today's layout is inspired by LOVE, as it's been Valentine's Day this week.
I used Crate Paper's Heart Day Collection.
Love teaming the pinks with blacks and grey!!
I began with clear gesso on my cardstock.
I then added some grey watercolour to the background and some flicks of black paint.
I created some layering around my photos with strips of paper - some I cut, some I tore an edge.
I then did some fussy cutting and added flowers and hearts and hugs and kisses that I cut from one of the papers.
Some of these I attached with foam tape to give some dimension.
I also fussy cut a title from one of the papers as it was just perfect for my photo.
I added a gorgeous 2Crafty Handmade Heart frame,
which I painted black and added to the photo.
I trimmed my cardstock, just a small amount off each side, and then adhered this to
a patterned paper, to create a border around the layout.
The final step, and the one that is most important to me is the journaling.
Well that's it from me this week.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Love Tam

Love This using Crate Paper Heart Day by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This weeks layout is created using a favourite colour combo - pink and green, that can be found in the new Crate Paper collection Heart Day. Traditionally Valentines Day themed, I have used it for a page of my daughter:

Love This

I was at crop day when I spied someone using this gorgeous Cactus paper and I had to have it! So I grabbed some papers to match it and used it as the focus of my page.

This cute tag was in my stash for a while, and was just perfect for the title, I've used gelatos to colour the tag, then added some of the black patterned paper underneath, before adding some twine.

I finished my layout with a few simple enamel dots to add a little colour to the white background which I wanted to remain predominantly white rather than adding any mixed media to the layout.

Thanks for stopping by
till next week

1+1= You & Me Layout:

Happy Monday everyone I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Today I have create a layout using Simple Stories Love & Adore collection.
I often use Valentine themed layouts to document other types of love and relationships.
This is a photo of my oldest and youngest hanging out together and I just think it captures
 the bond they share wonderfully.

I knew I wanted to use the geometric heart paper but I cut it out as I wanted a different background.

I have used a 3x3 inch photo with a white border then matted on an angle on the pink heart paper which I sewed around first. I have added the yellow adore sticker to the top of the photo. Because I have used a smaller photo (not wanting to lose the overall effect of the geometric heart) I have then embellished around my photo to ensure it remained the focus of my layout.

I loved the die cut 1+1 = You & Me as my title for this photo.

I have used the chipboard XOX to create a sub title.

I then created another feature embellishment at the top right of my page using the sticker doily and adding the chipboard 'sweet' word and finishing off with a tab die cut which I typed on with who and when.

Around the doily cluster I have added randomly chipboard hearts.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day and remember to take a few photos to scrap!

See you next week.

She has superpowers
by Tammy Klingner

Happy Friday everyone!!
Today I'm sharing with you a layout using Echo Park Just Be You Range.
Such gorgeous colours!!!!
I started with white cardstock, and added white gesso.
Once dry, I mixed a few of my Dylusions Paint together to create colours similar
to those in the paper range.
I painted large sections across my cardstock.
I then added lots of stickers and ephemera, and my photo.
Pretty simple really, but when a range is so gorgeous, it really makes scrapping easy!
I adore the navy, coral and mint.
Three of my favourite colours.
I then journaled on my page, and trimmed the layout down slightly and placed on
 a gorgeous patterened paper.
This created a border for the layout.
See you next week!!!!
Love Tam

Happy with Simple Stories Posh by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

So many gorgeous collections in store, this is one I was hoarding for a little bit -
 Simple Stories Posh!
So stunning

I've created a background with some Heidi Swapp Colorshine on smooth white
cardstock. Adding some splashes of gold to match the gold spots on the pink paper.

The floral paper  was the main piece I was drawn to, so then I picked some plainer
patterns that co-ordinate with the flower colours in that paper. I fussy cut a scallop
border with the pink paper with gold spots.
I've used the Simple Stories Posh cardstock stickers and self adhesive brads from co-ordinating embellshments, some Green Tara flowers and CVS and Kaisercraft
wood veneer.
My title is from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Love Always wood veneer shapes,
love these wood veneers.

Thanks for stopping by
till next week

New Design Team Announcement

Today it is may pleasure to introduce you to our 2 New Design Team
Members who will be joining with Fiona Johnstone (continuing on) to bring
you loads of inspiration over the coming months.
So, starting March 2017 please make welcome

I have been scrapbooking for many years, as evidenced by my well-organised
large stash and shelves full of albums! My life is always about the balance
and juggle – as I divide time between my gorgeous family (husband and
3 girls), my rewarding work (full time as a Speech Pathologist) and my
"me" time (Scrapbooking and Jujitsu). I have worked on a variety of
Design Teams as well as Teams for challenge blogs over the years and
have been published in Scrapbooking Memories.
I love to use patterned papers, but also combining mixed media to create
interesting backgrounds. Embellishment clusters are part of my signature style!
I am so excited and honoured to join the All About Scrapbooks team!

Hi There!
My name is Kerryn Fry, I am an Adelaide girl, living in the suburbs with my
partner Shane and our 12 year old son, Harrison.
I originally started scrapping back in 2004 after my Mum had started an
album for Harrison.  In 2007, I joined my first online forum and entered
a contest, I haven't looked back since then. Over the years, I have
been fortunate enough to design for a number of American
and Australian online stores, Australian companies, different sketch sites,
challenge sites and even been lucky enough to create some projects for Bella Blvd that were displayed at Summer CHA 2011.
I love being creative and enjoy documenting our memories, the good , the
bad and the funny.  I enjoy trying new techniques, stepping outside my
comfort zone and I basically LOVE getting dirty. The boys in my house are
not so happy about the 'messy' part. I'm always getting into trouble for
spreading my stash over the kitchen bench and dining table.
I am so excited to be joining the AAS team, especially to be back working
with Vanessa again.
Looking forward to sharing my passion with the AAS community and I hope
I can inspire you all in some way.

Thanks to everyone who applied, it is always a tough decision (especially
when only needing 2)as we have so many talented scrappers here in
Australia, but I'm sure you will love what the girls create and I know both are
eager to share their creations with you.
As new members start, we must say farewell to current team members and
that is always something I find quite difficult, as over the months we get to
see into peoples lives through their pages and memory keeping, so they
become personal and like and extension of your family/friend group, so
I always get a little sad, but am so grateful for the opportunity so play
this small part in bringing their story to you.
So I'd like to say a huge Thank You to both Rachel Lowe and Tammy Klingner
who have given us such wonderful inspiration over the last twelve months
and have been an absolute pleasure to work with.
I'm sure you have all been inspired and I know I've Scraplifted quite a few
of these talented girls work, and I'm sure you will continue to follow
 their creative journey.
Thanks Ladies, you've been fantastic team members and I wish I could
 afford to keep you all.

Hello Love Layout by Rachel Lowe:

I am unsure how it can already be February!

On the upside the kids are all back at school so more time to scrap.

Today I have a layout using the super sweet collection by Simple Stories Love Adore.

This is a Valentine themed collection but I have used photos of my daughter and I and
used the theme to suite my photos.
 Love is love!

Firstly I cut three 3 inch paper strips but before attaching I have placed one floral bunch
under the top strip.

I have randomly sewed on the paper strips and attached in the centre of my white cardstock.

I then attached my two photos vertically.

I created my title next using the chipboard. I added foam tape to the chipboard word LOVE to add height. Next to my title I have used the chipboard geometric heart and finished off with a small flowers (attached with foam tape).

Now for the fun part, adding embellishment clusters.

I have chosen floral bunches and hearts and as you can see some have foam tape to add
 height and depth.

I have used my old typewriter to journal who and when on the letter die cut. I finished off adding some sewing and foam taping the hugs and kisses chipboard piece.

From the sticker sheet I have used some phrases and attached to the floral heart sticker.

This colour combination is just beautiful on a white background.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope this has inspired you to make your own pretty
 version of this layout.

Have a wonderful week!

You make me Happy
by Tammy Klingner

Good morning everyone.
My kids went back to school this week so I managed a bit of creative play.
I felt like getting a bit painty, my go to paints are Dylusions - love the vibrant colours.
I began by applying white gesso to my background.
I then got out 3 different paints - a turquoise, an emerald and a lime.
I kinda just added a bit of this, and a bit of that to my brush, and lots of water.
As soon as I saw the awesome colour combo, I knew I wanted to pair it with just simple black and white.
So I hunted through my leftover bits of Bella Boulevard and Simple Stories.
I created a few layers behind my photos, and then embellished with 2Crafty Chipboard.
I used a title, a revolution frame, clustered hearts and some little mini hearts too.
I painted some white, and some black.
To my title I added Glossy Accents to give a high gloss/resin finish.
After I had finished I stood back, and felt it needed something else.
I flicked white gesso onto the page.
I added black paint to the border of the layout and I also swiped some black paint over the chipboard frame.

Aaah, that's better, that pulled it all together!!

Take Me Away with Pink Paislee by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I am sharing a travel page, created using the gorgeous Take Me Away papers by Pink Paislee.

Take Me Away

The colours in this collection went lovely with these particular photos of us sightseeing around London. Loved this map paper that I have used behind my photos - you can just see London on the map above the bottom photo, deliberately poking out !!

The collection has some cute chipboard embellishments which I have used and you can see in this close up:

I've finished the page with an arrow to point to London and a few small embellishments, before adding a little journaling.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Believe in Yourself layout by Rachel Lowe:

Happy Monday everyone.

I can't believe January is almost over!

Today I am using Bella BLVD Bright and Brave collection.

Although it has religious connotations it can be used easily to create 'positive' and 'loving' layouts.

I have gone bright and bold with this layout.

I am a huge fan of grids as you can use each square to create embellishment/feature clusters.

I have used the bright multi coloured circle paper as my background.

I then cut my white cardstock down to 10x10 inches.

I have sewn the edges of the white card to add another border.

I then cut down the journal card paper down to 3x3 inch squares to go with the theme of my photos.

I have chosen three photos of my daughter and cut them down to 3x3 inches also.
Grid layouts are also a great way to create multi photo layouts.

With each square I have embellished with the die cuts and stickers from this collection.

I have sewn on some of the squares and used foam tape to create height on others.

Once I was happy with each square I then attached measuring to ensure my grid was aligned.

This layout is all about colour and embellishment placement.

Thank you for stopping by today and see you in February!
