You Shine using Kaisercraft Hide & Seek by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!
Today I have created another page using the divine collection,
Kaisercraft Hide & Seek.
Once you start using this collection,
you will not want to stop.
Perfect for both girls and boys.
The black & white photo is from 2015,
a special moment captured between cousins.
I've started with Kraft Cardstock.
Using gold ink and Kaisercraft Designer Template Dotted Lines,
I have added a soft effect randomly to the background.

The 2 Crafty Medium Filmstrip has been painted with Black Soot Distress Paint.
I have then backed the filmstrip with patterned paper to create another layer.

The flowers, journal spot and quote have been hand cut from the patterned papers.
The 6x4 photo and the quote have been matted with Black Cardstock
to help define them on the page.
Scrap cardboard and X-Press It Foam Squares have been used
to lift some of the elements

Totally in love with the Kaisercraft Lucky Dip Flourish Pack,
especially love how well the wood veneer matches the page.
A few mountains added for the outdoor feel.
The Sticker Sheet always provides those extra small elements to finish off the page,
the arrows and black circle chains across the page.
I have hand cut a few small arrows from the papers.

The 2 Crafty title You Shine was chosen to highlight our amazing boy.
Regardless of their age difference, he is patient and takes care of his cousins.
The title was painted with Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint
and then gently swiped with gold ink.

That's all from me today.
I have already started the next project with this collection,
can't stop! Told you I love it!
Thanks for visiting the blog today, have a fabulous weekend
and please join us again on Monday with Fiona's next project.

"Happy" by Amanda H

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a page with a photo by the pool (perfect for a flamingo!) using the fun Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush collection.

I layered three papers in the range for the background: Cabana, Flamingle, and Aloha.
Before I added my photo, I decided to add some more texture. I added the pink hearts using a stencil and some Colour Blast Colour Paste in Punch. I also added some black stamping with a script stamp.
Then I added my photo and started embellishing the page. I used lots of die cuts from the Heidi Swapp - Pineapple Crush Ephemera pack.
Amongst the leaves, flamingo, flowers and spot, I added one pink flower from my Prima Havana pack of paper flowers.

In the top corner I added a die cut to house some journaling. In this close up you can also see that you had inked the edges of the paper and die cuts with some black ink.

And a few sprinkles of sequins also help to finish the page.
Thanks for looking today!

Lap Dog with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Boys Rule by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have created a page with the amazing new collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio -  Boys Rule:

I love the woodgrain paper and it was the perfect base paper for my photo as the colours match my pooch!! I have taken inspo from my t-shirt for the colours and the star theme.

I have gone with some clean lines for my design, focusing on the patterns showing.

For my title I have used some thickers in black so they stand out against the star patterned paper. I've embellished my layout with some more stars and then some quotes and finishing off with a flair button.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Cherish using Kaisercraft Hide & Seek by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone.
Today I'm sharing my first page created with
the beautiful collection Kaisercraft Hide & Seek.
The photos are of my youngest great-niece on New Years Eve 2015.
She is such a cutie!
The page started with the plain Kraft Cardstock base.
I've then layered the patterned papers in the lower section of the cardstock.
The top of the page has been decorated using the Sticker SheetCollectables
and clouds cut from the patterned paper.
My black gel pen features again with a little faux stitching to highlight
a few features across the page.
I have fussy cut some flowers and leaves from the papers
and popped them up with foam tape.
I've built the bottom of the page up using the Collectables
and hand cut elements.
The Sticker Sheet was perfect for the borders
and finishing touches on the page.

in two colours Worn Lipstick and Tarnished Brass.
The 3 photos have been matted using the patterned paper Trees
and then lifted with cardboard for dimension.

The journal spot was hand cut from the Explorer paper
and lifted with foam tape.
More Collectables with the arrow and flowers.

The 2 Crafty title Cherish was painted with Worn Lipstick Distress Paint
and then stamped using Kaisercraft Texture Stamp and gold ink.
The final layer is Dimensional Magic.

That's my page for this week.
I hope you've enjoyed the process today.
Have a fabulous weekend and stay warm.
Fiona will be back on Monday with her next project,
I hope you can drop by.

Jump for joy, by Amanda H

Hello AAS fans!

Sharing this page of my daughter - such a happy joyful photo... and it was perfect to team some blues with neutrals!

I started with some Kaisercraft wood grain paper from the Memory Lane collection and ripped it in half, for the top section of the page.

Next I grabbed some Kraft cardstock and for interest, I decided to add some stencil work. Using the new Kaisercraft Grunge stencil, I added Colour Blast - Colour Paste in Snow White.  The Snow white paste dries clear and sparkly and adds a subtle effect on the Kraft background.

Look at the cool texture in this close up!

You will also notice I added some blue splatters, using Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Just Blue.

You can also see I added a 2 Crafty butterfly here - I inked it blue, sprayed it with Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Just Blue and then coated with Dimensional magic.

For the title, I combined Thickers, with some Webster letters.
Also here, I used a grey arrow and heart sticker, both from the More Than Words collection.

More stickers from CVS in this bottom left corner cluster, also adding "Go Abby" in Webster letters.
I included a Kaisercraft Paper Bloom in black, but I painted the edges with Colour Blast Shimmer Spray in Just Blue
Lastly I found the cute blue spotty Bella Blvd clip in my stash and the colour was perfect!

Choose Happy with Simple Stories Good Vibes by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I've got the very pretty Good Vibes collection from Simple Stories to play with. Love the black with the bright colours, a fun collection!

Choose Happy

The base for my layout is almost ready to go with this paper - Be Amazing. It already has the floral pattern in the corner and a cool design.

I have added a little colour with Dylusions and Distress Ink. I've used lots of paper layers on this page, behind my photo and added some texture by distressing the edges.

The Sticker Sheet with this collection has a fab variety of words and images to make embellishing a breeze! I've finished off my layout with a painted 2Crafty Title and added some paint sploshes in black that tie in with the pre-printed sploshes on the background paper.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Loving These Moments using Echo Park Paper Co by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone.
Today I've created a second page using
Echo Park Paper Co Happy Birthday Boy.
This time it was not quite used for the intended purpose,
but it does involve cake.
Mr then 5, enjoying a cupcake.
But from memory, I'm pretty sure he only ate the icing.

I've started with a plain piece of Kraft cardstock.
Then I've laid out the patterned papers
and cut strips from different papers, coordinating the colours and patterns.
I've then built layers under the photos, matted the photos with black cardstock and
then lifted the photos with cardboard.

The 2 Crafty Stars have been covered with patterned papers
and the frames have been painted with Black Soot Distress Paint.
I've hand cut some cupcakes from the papers and
added stickers from the Element Sticker Sheet.

I have matted some of the stickers used with black cardstock
to help them pop above the patterned papers.
Most have the embellishments have been given dimension with foam tape.

The 2 Crafty title Loving These Moments has been painted with Black Soot.
I have used a black gel pen to add faux stitching on the page.
I have used black as an accessory on the page
to balance with the beautiful, bright colours.
The subtitle has been cut from the 3x4 Journaling card.

A simple page this week with a burst of colour.
Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Fiona will be back on Monday to share her next project,
I hope you can join us.

"Gorgeous", by Amanda H

Hello all and welcome to July!

Today I share some sweet-prettiness using one of the new collections from Prima - the Havana Collection. And this super cute photo of my daughter and niece seemed perfect!
 Look at those sweet faces!

I used both sides of the lovely "Chirping New" paper - one for the base and one for a panel.
I also added a backing of the "PS I love You" paper.

With different panels and combinations, I pulled these papers together as the backdrop to my page with some distressed edges and machine stitching.

I was a bit tricky with the photos - I used packaging from the sticker pack to mount them! Prima always has such nice packaging; I never want to throw it away and in this instance it was perfect behind the photos!

What I hope you can see in these photos - the beautiful copper foil tones in all these papers. It really is divine.

There is an interesting paper in the range - Love from Havana - which has different elements on it. I was able to fussy cut the pink ticket, and circle punch a couple of elements, including the "dream" circle seen in this close up.

I also added some flourishes from the 2Crafty Leafy Shrub set, inked mint to match.

Also here you can see some of the stunning little flowers from the Havana Mirana Mulberry pack

For the title I used the word "gorgeous" from the 2 Crafty Fine Word set. inked pink and layered on some white muslin. Added a circle punched from paper and more flowers, as well as sticker from the Rose Stickers pack.

In this corner is another flourish from the 2Crafty Leafy Shrub set, another flower, muslin and sticker. OH! please note those sweet little duck lips! ha ha ha!

In the top right corner, I added more stickers, including a journaling spot with a flower and small piece of muslin.
Thanks for looking today!
