I have used a black cardstock background to pop the bright colours in this collection.
No background effects this week, just let the patterned papers shine.
Layering the patterns and plain papers under the photo, starting with the lighter colors first.
The photo and journal spot have been matted with black cardstock
to tie in with the background.
Most of the embellishments have come from the Ephemera - Words pack.
Some of the elements, I've fussy cut from the Daily Details paper.
The cake, some words and the journal spot were hand-cut
and then lifted with foam tape.
The music notes are from the Borders paper
and fitted in well with the theme of the page.
The title word 'Celebrate' is also from the Ephemera pack,
I have used foam tape and then doodled a faux stitching border with black pen.
The collection of hearts from the Ephemera pack were perfect
to cluster around the journal spot for the extra pop of colour.
I have used foam tape to arrange them
and then highlighted some of them with a black gel pen.
The speech bubbles were the final addition.
I've used the plain one for the year, using Kaisercraft Alpha Stickers
and adding a little sparkle with Diamond Stickles.
All of the bubbles have all been lifted with foam tape
and then one highlighted with pen.
It's a simple, yet colourful page this week.
