Favourite using ModaScrap Back to School by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone.
Today I am sharing a page created with the collection,
ModaScrap Back to School.
Great bright primary colours with the perfect patterns.
The photo was taken 3 years ago,
Mr 14 and his favourite teacher.

The page started with a base of Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
Most of it was covered with paper 02, love the little faces.
Lots of layers put together, the red paper is from another collection
to give the page a pop of colour.

I have covered the 2 Crafty Triangle Clusters with charcoal ink.
Once stuck into place, I have outlined the inside of a few triangles
with a blue gel pen.

The 2 Crafty Polaroid Frame was covered in patterned paper '03'
The frame was used to keep the focus on the faces to match the background paper.
The photo has been lifted with 3D foam tape to create another layer.
I have doodled a border around the frame with a black gel.
The title has been created with foam Thickers.

I have made the journal card with a tag punch
and the reverse side of the patterned papers which is plain white.
I punched a second tag from paper '01' and
chopped the top part for some colour.
The tag has also been lifted with foam tape.

The date tag has also been created using a punch
and the reverse side of paper.
My finishing touches are some faux stitching around a few of the papers,
using a black gel pen to define the layers.

A simple page this week.
The photo had been printed for awhile just waiting for the right paper.
Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Please join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.
