This week I am playing with Kaisercrafts Bow & Arrow Collection - this is really a very versatile range and today I share with you two layouts I have created. I really love the colours in this range, which would suit so many styles of photos!
First up, Love You Always:
For this layout I have gone with my clean style and focused on layering the papers to add colour to my black and white photo.
Some close-ups. I have fussy cut some of the feathers from the Sunrise Paper&
combined with the feathers from the collectibles pack. I love the teal colour that
is prominent in this range and have co-ordinated my embellishments and title to match.
And another close-up, with a little of the orange this time as well as the teal and
some arrows, simply because the range is called Bow & Arrow, and I love all the
little arrows on the darker background paper.
And my second share for this week, is Hello Beautiful:
I've added a little bit of stamping on this one to co-ordinate with the pattern in
the background paper but to give it a little bit more colour. I've focused on the
oranges in this layout.
A close-up of my masking and stamping. If you look closely you can see that the background paper has a diamond pattern on it and I have used my memory box
stencil to continue this pattern and then added some stamped triangles in brown
that compliment the border around the die-cut paper.
And another close-up of my embellishment cluster, once again I have used lots
of feathers, these are all from the collectibles pack this time, as is the snap
shot journal spot. I've finished with some wood veneer and a cute loveheart
from Ocober Afternoon.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have been inspired to get creative.
I've now seen this collection IRL & it is gorgeous! Love what you've done with it in both layouts, Fiona...especially love your little bit of stencil work with the diamonds & triangles. You've matched those colours perfectly. Brilliant work Fiona :) x
