It's Kel here today sharing my 3rd page with the 49 & Market 

Curiosities In Willow Grove collection.

I'm documenting a photo of my gorgeous boy Sarge playing with his ball in our yard.

Here it is...

I decided for my page to focus on the blues and greens in the collection as my photo had a lot of green. To start my page I chose a paper from the 12 x 12 paper pad that had the large circles. I cut the circles out, distressing the edges, laying them down the left side of my page (I added some watercolour down first.)

I mounted my photo with some different papers from the collection, adding a laser cut border to the left side of the photo. I also added some die cuts to the top left of my photo.

My main embellishing is on the right side of my photo. I chose lots of the outdoorsy pieces from the different embellishments, mushrooms, foliage butterflies and rub ons. I needed to ground these elements so I added some gauze and patterned paper underneath them. 

For my title I used the rub ons from the 'Blendable' pack.

Another layout created with the stunning 49 and Market Curiosities in Willow Grove collection:
Beautiful 

I love this floral background paper, so stunning! I have teamed it up with the magnifying glass paper which I have fussy cut around the circle and cut the handle off to give me a fresh neutral semi circle. I have hand cut some scalloped borders to go across my layout and cover the base of the circle. 

I've matted my photo with an ephemera piece and added some cute floral ephemera icons alongside.
The empty space in the circle I have added some cute ephemera banners along across to my photo. 

I finished off my layout with an older Vicki Boutin title, love the flexibility of these and was able to shape it around the top of the circle.

Capture the Momentswith 49 and Market Curiosities in Willow Grove by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I finally got a chance to play with the new 49andMarket Willow Grove collection and created a few layouts to share over the coming weeks. First up:
Capture the Moments

For this page I chose the neutral light green paper as a background for my layout as it matches the outdoors background of my photo. I teamed it up with some of the purple shades to match the top Zara is wearing. Love tearing the paper for that contrast and texture. 

Lots of embellishments as always with this range, and I have chosen the Icons and Titles ephemera, Journaling Bits and Laser Cut outs Foliage.  How cute is the Heart card? I thought it was super sweet! I have then added some of the lighter pink flowers around it plus some tickets in the green and purple colours. 

The cutest mushrooms I couldn't go past, teamed up with a little quote over a journaling piece and a mini heart. 

Finishing off the layout with the Capture the Moments title from the Icons and Tiles ephemera.

Hey Scrappy People!

Kel here today sharing a page with the Arden Creative Laurel Grove collection.
 I love the colour palette of this collection.

My page today documents two photos of my son at the duck pond...such a long time

 ago but I love these pictures.

I started my page choosing a paper from the 12 x 12 paper pad that was very neutral
 then added the blue spot paper to the right side, splitting the background in two. 

I wanted my photos in the middle of the page so I used two different papers under
my pics to create a 'shelf' for my photos to sit on.

You can see from my pictures I have used an assortment of embellishments to add 

clusters around my photos... ephemera, rub-ons and laser cuts.

I felt the page needed something at the bottom so I added some of the green paper
creating another little cluster.

For my title I used a die cut from the 'Page Makers' Ephemera pack.

I have loved this collection, I hope you check it out in the shop!

Getaway with 3 Quarters Magical Vines by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I have documented a recent trip to the Hunter Valley using 3 Quarters Designs Magical Vines collection:
Getaway

I loved the background paper with the rolling hills and vineyards and cute sandstone house. I based my design with keeping the images in focus and used a couple of neutral papers to matt my photo, adding some tearing for some dimension. 
I've fussy cut the wine barrel from the collection for a fun embellishment and used the advertising strip "Life is too short to drink bad wine"

Next I chose this cute vine and berries from 2Carfty chipboard to make my grapevines. I've used sharpies to colour and give leaf detail:

Next a diecut embellishment from the paper pack of the wine bottle and then I fussy cut one of the wine glasses from the off cut strips and mounted it with foam tape. 

I've finished off the layout with my title Getaway using the sharpie in the same purple as my grapes.

It's the Season to Sparkle with Graphic 45 Deck the Halls by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I have another Christmas share with  Graphic 45 Deck the Halls:
It's the Season to Sparkle

This layout uses the same Graphic 45 collection as last week, but this time focusing more on the reds. I've used a red candy cane paper as my border paper and scrapped on some white cardstock as my base. For my blue toned photo I have matted in blue, then a white with blue before adding the large floral paper and highlighting with a red Merry Christmas banner

I've used the ephemera again to embellish and some fussy cutting from the patterned papers. I used these cute leaves and berries from my stash - love the pretty glitter to add some sparkle

My title is 2Crafty - It's the Season to Sparkle, I have inked it in red then sprayed with some shimmer spray. Then I have finished off my page with some cute little snowflakes which I have mounted onto the page for added dimension.

Grateful 49 & Market Curiosities in Willow Grove Kel Moore

Welcome to the blog today!

It's Kel back today sharing another layout I created with the 49 & Market Curiosities
 in Willow Grove collection.

This page documents a photo of my oldest son and I from his 17th birthday last year.

 Here it is...

I started my page with a piece of white cardstock and some Distress Oxide in Kitch Flamingo which I watered down and added to the page. I then used an older Vicki Boutin stencil to add some detail.

I matted my photo in two different papers from the 6x8 paper pad then added some pieces from the journalling ephemera behind my photo to create the base.

I really loved the floral paper from the Starters Paper Pack so I used it as a border around the whole page then fussy cut the rest of the florals to use as embellishments on my page. I tucked the florals around the photo.

Next I used some 2Crafty chipboard called Grid Panel which I painted in gold and tucked
under both sides of my photo.

I then created my title using the chipboard bits for the word 'Grateful' ...Doodlebug Puffy
 Alphas for the word 'For' and a diecut for 'The Simple Things.'

I finished the page adding some ink splatters in black and gold.

Merry & Bright with Graphic 45 Deck the Halls by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas...
The start of some Christmas layouts, I have used Graphic 45 - Deck the Halls:
Merry & Bright

I chose this range for the colours as my photos last year had blue and that is always a tricky colour but this snowflake paper was perfect for my photo of my girls with my snowy candy cane background. 
Using this as a base I then added some blue paper layers to my photo and added the candy striped paper to stand out and match the candy canes. 

Love the ephemera in this collection - the perfect heart candy canes and the cutest snow globe. I added lots of foam mounted snowflakes to fit the theme and added some doilies from my stash to break up and soften the background. Finishing off embellishments with some enamel dots. 

I finished off the page with a large 2Crafty title Merry&Bright which I painted white then added lots of stickles to bling it up.

Hello Sunshine with Echo Park Summer Break by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Another boy page this week with more Echo Park Summer Break. 
Hello Sunshine

I had a bunch of paper left over from my last layout and put this one together right afterwards - without a photo which I never do! 
Anyway I liked the cute journaling Play All Day and decided to use it with a smaller 3x4 photo for my design , then created a sky background with the sun paper then some matching blue and adding a cute sun which I fussy cut from the paper to make as an embellishment. 

I've the fussy cut the tag here and added a Cocoa Vanilla Studio sticker. Then used a few of the stickers from the Echo Park Summer Break Sticker Sheet. 

I also used the sticker sheet for my title Summer Break and finished off with some extra words with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio stickers.
