Happy Memories with Vicki Boutin Color Study by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Another page created with the awesome Color Study collection, it is such a fun and amazing paper range! Love it! Here is my latest creation:
Happy Memories

For this layout I knew I wanted to use that fun sunburst design on the Array of Colours paper so I decided to team it up with some colours that matched and create a VB background. I swiped some distress inks across the bottom of my Foundations Cardstock using the plastic bag technique and water:

Once that was dry I added some stamping using the stencil - I add the distress ink directly onto the stencil, sprayed with water then stamped the design on. Then I added some detail in the turquoise with Dylusions paint through a stencil before finishing off with some Kaisercraft stamps. 

Then I layered up some remaining pieces of paper around my photo before hitting the embellishments - love these pie chart circles to continue the pattern on my background, adding 3 to my page before adding some final embellishment touches from the sticker sheet, ephemera pack and an old flair button.

A small subtitle and another cool bulldog clip from the ephemera before finishing off with my title from the collections puffy phrase stickers.

Major Heart Eyes with Echo Park Welcome Baby Girl by Fiona Johnstone

This week I am using the Echo Park Welcome Baby girl collection for my teen girl:

I've used the B Sides of the paper with pretty florals to create this page and gone with the soft feminine white background with a white cutfile and some paint splatters. 

I've used the pretty non-baby themed stickers from the elements sticker sheet and finished off with the cute Foam Thickers for my title.

Ocean Bliss with Celebr8's Ocean Bliss collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have another layout with the gorgeous Ocean Bliss collection by Celebr8, and I have used one of the collections Matt Board pieces for my title, named after the collection:
Ocean Bliss

The colours in this collection were perfect for this early morning beach photo I have.
To continue the beachy theme I have gone with torn paper layers to represent
the layers of sky, sea and sand in the photo. 

Love the cute wave cut out that I fussy cut, I have added some texture paste to represent the ocean foam. I've also fussy cut out some of the sea flowers and shells to create a few clusters. 

The title is matt board which I have painted in Dylusions paints to co-ordinate with the paper. I've added a little more white texture paste to the paper layers to tie the page together.

Lovely with Pebbles Jen Hadfield The Avenue collection by Fiona Johntone

Hello everyone
I have the stunning Jen Hadfield The Avenue collection to share this week. There are a lot of papers and embellishments in this collection, so much choice!
Lovely

For this layout I have used a cut file to frame my photos, this time instead of using white cardstock I have used a green patterned paper from the collection - Aster Avenue. This paper is nice and thick so perfect for cutting! 
I chose the black and white floral paper as my base, coated it in clear gesso, then used Dylusions Paint and Distress Ink to add colour to the background to match my flowers. I then added a couple of strips of patterned paper to either side of my page for contrast.

I've fussy cut the butterflies from Cocoa Vanilla Unforgettable collection - Lacewing - and used some stickers from the Midnight collection. Title is an old CVS wood veneer word from one of their very early collections - I have used a sharpie to colour it black. 

I finished the page off with some enamel dots and some stickers.

The Good Stuff with Crate Paper Fresh Bouquet by Fiona Johnstone

Hi everyone
Playing with the gorgeous Crate paper Fresh Bouquet collection this week for
a layout of me and my girls
The Good Stuff

I started this page with the design of the papers in mind, initially going to use a patterned paper background I decided to go with cardstock and add some masking. 
I've used the new Vicki Boutin Storyteller Radiate stencil and some Dylusions Paints for the background. Even though it is a smaller stencil than the area I didn't worry about the middle as it was going to be covered by my patterned paper and just made sure the outer section matched up. 

Then once my paper layers were down I have used both the cardstock stickers and the foam stickers from the collection to embellish my page and tucked some inked chipboard bits under my flowers. 
I've used some older thickers - Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope for my title to complete my layout.

Fun to be One with Pebbles Peek-a-Boo by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have a cute layout to share using the adorable Pebbles Peek-A-Boo you collection. Comes in both "girl" and "boy" ranges but they work well together too. 
Fun to be One

Love this photo of my niece and her beautiful bub who just turned one and the Pebbles Collection was perfect! I love the background paper I've chose- lots of cute, baby words just perfect. I added a couple of sploshes of pink paint to mess it up a little but not enough to take away from the paper. 
Next a couple of paper layers using both the ranges and a doily. 

How cute are the stickers on the Accent Sticker sheet? Adore the little Mum & Bub deer. 
Then I've added a couple of Green Tara flowers and the cutest puffy heart from the latest Cocoa Vanilla Collection - Daydream. 
Finishing off with my title using the Rose Puffy Stickers and a smattering of enamel hearts.

Shark Tales with Echo Park by Fiona Johnstone

Hey everyone
I've got a fun little layout today, inspired by the shark paper in the new Echo Park All Boy paper. It was just perfect for this photo taken at Dreamworld on our last Qld trip:

I chose to focus on the shark paper with a nice long strip along the side of my page, teamed up with co-ordinating papers in blue and adding a pop of red. 

For behind my photo I've created a small watercolour background using some dylusions paint. I've then dug into my stash to add some embellishments. 

I've focused on the blue and red colours for embellishing and added some woodgrain & chipboard pieces to complete the page.

Another layout with this stunning collection, it is just so beautiful!  I've saved that gorgeous rainbow paper for this layout:

  I've fussy cut one of the gorgeous rainbows from the Joyful Heart paper and made it a feature of my page. I've added some blue and green watercolour to some white cardstock to make my bcakground and mounted the cardstock onto the Best Chapter paper.   

  From these two close-ups you can see my watercolour background and my embellishments to my photo - two corner clusters with the floral ephemera some journaling words and a puffy heart.   

  My clouds I made by tracing around some chipboard clouds and fussy cutting, I was initially going to paint the chipboard, then decided to cut then out of paper to add a little more patterned paper print to the design. I edged the clouds with some white paint and the central cloud I mounted with tape then added a heart and some journaling.   

  My favourite part of the page is my title, I have used a mix of word/phrase stickers and some puffy hearts to decorate the title, co-ordinating the colours of my words with the colours in the rainbow.

Just Hanging About with Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul by Fiona Johnstone

This week I'm sharing a layout with the super cute, Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul collection:
Just Hanging About

I wanted to go with an outdoors/garden theme for this layout to match my photo of my youngest hanging off a tree branch. So I chose my Kaisercraft butterfly stencil and did some masking with texture paste mixed with some Dylusions paint. 
Once dry I layered up some pretty Spoonful of Soul patterned papers to the centre of my cardstock, then mounted the cardstock onto the Bite Size bits paper. 

Then I painted the Just Hanging About 2Crafty title with some lightened Dylusions Paint in Lemon Zest. I've used the JIllibean soup pea pod diecuts and enamel dots to embellish my page before adding the gorgeous prima flower to complete the layout.

Spread your Wings with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another layout using the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness collection that I used a few months back. Still loving this collection so much!
Spread your Wings

I jumped on the trend of fussy cutting the butterflies from the gorgeous Bright & Beautiful patterned paper in the CVS Happiness collection. That is a LOT of butterflies to cut. Only about half ended up on this layout - stay tuned for another page featuring them!

I wanted to stick to the rainbow colours and used them linear but then scattered them slightly so they appear more natural. 

I've kept my photo small and layered some ephemera and stickers around it as I want my flight of butterflies to stand out.  My title is created using dylusions paints onto the 2Crafty chipboard title, then I watered down the lighter pink paint and added splashes to match the dots on the butterflies. 

A view of the butterflies - I have used foam tape to give their wings a lift to create the idea of them flying off the page.

Best Memories with Carta Bella Let's Travel by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have a holiday layout, using the Carta Bella Let's Travel papers and Celebr8 Matt Board.
Best Memories

I love the light blue background paper, looks like little waves. I've mounted this onto some dark blue cardstock to make it pop. 
Next I have used some of the red and blue papers to create my layers. 

The new Celebr8 Matt Board is easy to use, just like chipboard. I've inked and painted my pieces to co-ordinate with my layout. 
I've dug into my stash to find some co-ordinating pieces to finish off my page using some older travel collections and some Say Cheese embellishments.
