Selfie Time using Celebr8 #YOLO Paper Pack by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!
My page today has been created
with the cool collection Celebr8 #YOLO.
The B&W photo is a rare finding, it's me
attempting a selfie and playing with filters.

The base of the page is a
combination of patterned papers
XOXO (Pink Paper) & BFF (Flower Paper).
I've torn the edge of BFF paper
and added it to the base of the page.

The reverse side of BFF (Stripe paper)
is the strip along the bottom of the page.
I've used the reverse sides of the
barcode strips with the scalloped border
and added them to the top and
bottom of the page.

The top scalloped strip has been
highlighted with Ranger Stickles Glue.
Then the strip has been embellished with
cut-outs from the patterned papers.

The banner flag has been hand cut
from the Bonus Fussy Cut Sheet and
added to the page with foam tape.

I've highlighted the white parts
of the banner with Stickles Glitter Glue.

Under the photo, I've hand cut the
'people' border from the patterned papers
and added it to the page with
foam tape at either end of the strip.

The photo has been double matted with a
journal card from the Paper Pack
and a piece of Raven Cardstock.

The Journal card 'Imperfection' has been
punched along one edge and added
to the left of the photo with foam tape.

The journal card has been embellished
with hand cut elements from the patterned papers.
The camera, stars and flowers
have been added to the page with foam tape
and then highlighted with Stickles Glitter Glue

To the right side of the photo is
a hand cut tag, a star and more flowers,
all elements from the papers.
I've added string to the tag
and embellished with some words
from Tim Holtz.

The title of the page 'Selfie Time'
and sub-title 'Just Chillin' are both
hand cut elements from the papers.
They have been raised with foam tape.

A fun page with loads of fussy cutting.
Thanks for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have enjoyed the steps.

Have a great weekend, stay warm
and enjoy some craft time.
Please join us again on Monday.

Pretty as a Picture with Echo Park Let's Create by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have another layout to share with the beautiful Let's Create paper from Echo Park:

Pretty as a Picture

Love this collection and the B sides are perfect for scrapping day to day photos and not necessarily "crafty" themed pages.

I love that the pink dashes pattern which matches my daughters dress surprisingly well - and no not planned!! So I have used this to soften the woodgrain background and added a little to my page.

The floral paper - Fresh Flowers is perfect for some fussy cutting and I have used these as a cluster with some from the sticker sheet:

and balanced with this sticker cluster:

I've added my title - 2Crafty chipboard - Pretty as  Pictured, inked in green and sprayed with sparkle spray with some Cocoa Vanilla word stickers to complete the layout.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

With you anything is possible using Cocoa Vanilla No Limits by Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing my first page
created with the fabulous collection,
Cocoa Vanilla Studios No Limits

The photo of a younger, 6 year old Mr H,
was taken on a holiday to Brisbane in January 2010.
Harry was sitting outside his Auntie's house,
patiently waiting to head into the city
for a visit to the Museum.

The main background 'woodgrain' paper
is the reverse side of the Big Bang Paper.
I've cut it down to 29x29cm and then anchored
it to a frame piece of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.

The square photo has been backed with
multiple colourful layers of patterned papers
and a piece of Raven Cardstock.
I have raised the photo with foam tape
to create dimension on the page.

The hand cut stars are from the Nebula paper
The stars have been highlighted with
and added to the page in 3 clusters with foam tape.

The strip of Latitude paper creates some colour
horizontally across the page and has then
been outlined with a black pen to frame the colour.
There is a smaller strip of the reverse 'yellow' side
that has been scalloped with a border punch and
then tucked under the bottom of the Latitude strip.

I've created a tag from the Spark paper
and added it to the left side of the photo.
The embellishments around the tag
are from the Accessory Stickers
and the Universal paper.

The quote under the photo has been hand cut
from a 3x4 journal card on the Universal paper.
The white letters have been highlighted
with the Glitter Glue and then added
to the page with foam tape for extra dimension.

The word stickers have been backed
with Raven Cardstock and added
to the page with foam tape.
The circle frame piece around the photo
has been cut from Raven Cardstock
and then outlined with a white pen.

was base coated with white gesso,
then covered with white ink and allowed to dry.
The final coat was a light layer of Stickles Glitter Glue.

Thank you for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have enjoyed the page.
Have a great weekend
and join us again on Monday.

Good Things with Echo Park Let's Create by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Back from an awesome scrapbooking retreat weekend which has given me the chance to play with lots of recent releases which I will share over the coming weeks!

First up, I have a couple with this gorgeous collection - Echo Parks Lets Create! At first glance this might look like a very craft themed range, but it contains lots of papers that will work with anything and the colours are stunning!

Good Things

As you can see from my page, I've used quite a few papers that are not specifically crafty themed. I have started my page with a few paper layer tears before mating my photo with 2 papers and adding a doily for added texture.

Below those layers I have added a little colour with a Vicki Boutin art crayon using the plastic bag technique - just along the edge for a subtle colour.

The large flowers on the Just Floral paper ae perfect for cutting out and adding to the layout along with some stickers from the Element Sticker Sheet.

I've used a few bits and pieces from my stash before finishing the page with the gorgoeus Vicki Boutin thickers:

Amazing Day using Simple Stories Simple Vintage Weathered Garden by Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing another page I've
created with the beautiful collection
Simple Stories Simple Vintage Weathered Garden.
The B&W photos are my sweet niece
taken on a visit to Adelaide in January 2013.

The base is a clean 12x12 sheet
I've layered the patterned papers
and used a punch along one edge.

There are two journal cards cut
from the Journal Elements paper
that I've used as additional
layers under the photos.

The 3D butterflies have been hand cut
from the journal cards found on

I have layered the two different
size butterflies together with a small amount
of glue on the body section only.

The flowers have been hand cut
from the Made Memories paper.
I've added the flowers to the page
with some foam tape to create dimension.

The heart with the quote was cut from
a journal card on the 3x4 Elements paper
and also added with foam tape.

The word tabs, small heart and circle sticker

I have hand cut the word quote
and the small butterflies from
the 3x4 Elements paper.

The quote has been added to the
white space in the photos with foam tape.
The small butterflies have been
spread across the page.

has been covered with Gold Ink
and added to the page with foam tape.

I've used a gold pen to outline
the main 'green flourish' paper layer,
the reverse side of the 3x4 Elements paper.

Thanks for visiting the blog today,
I hope the page has inspired you.
Have a lovely weekend, stay warm
and enjoy some creative time.

The Sweet Life with Pinkfresh Studios Life Right Now collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I am starting on some layouts using Pink fresh Studios Life Right Now collection:

The Sweet Life

Love this cute teacups patterned paper and it inspired my page of a cuppa and a cake! I've used the paper as the focus and after adding a couple of paper layers have tilted my photo off centre to give more attention to the paper.

The cute chipboard flair buttons make the cutest accompaniment to the page, I've teamed them up with some flowers that I've dabbed with a ink pad with distress oxide on it to give me some yellow to tie in with the paper and the lemon curd on the cheesecake.

Puffy stickers from Cocoa Vanilla and Vicki Boutin and some cut up 2Crafty chipboard leaves to finish off.

This title from the Vicki Boutin Color Range collection was the perfect fit!
And then I finished off with some of the dots and a heart from the range.

Happiness with Pinkfresh Studio Happy Heart by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Back with another layout created with the beautiful Pinkfresh Studio collection - Happy Heart.

Happiness

The windows on the Favourite Place paper were the inspiration for this page, they were just begging to be fussy cut! I then teamed them up with some of my remaining papers from the collection and used the windows as embellishments.

I've used a mask, some distress oxide and spray water to add some very light and subtle dots to the background of my page, and then a few added splatters.

I then added a mix of puffy stickers and regular stickers from the collection to embellish my layout - love the little plants in the window!

The words set makes for the perfect title and subtitle too!
