Capture Memories using Uniquely Creative Moody Blue by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
The page I'm sharing today has been
created with the collection,
Uniquely Creative Moody Blues.
I've also created two cards
to share with you.
The B&W photo of my sister and I
was taken at the start of the 26km walk
that we completed back in May.

The base of the page is Vicki Boutin
Mixed Media 12x12 Foundations paper.
The top part of the page is different pieces
of patterned paper and Bazzill Raven Cardstock
with varying widths layered across the paper.

The black cardstock has been punched
with a scalloped border punch and
the shapes on the Midnight paper
have been hand cut to layer on the paper
for extra dimension.

The Periwinkle paper is were the
small mandala shapes have been
hand cut from, they've been
added to the page along the black strip.

The Creative Cuts pack has provided
 the embellishments for the page,
The words, quotes and butterfly.

The background effect on the paper
has been created with a combination
of different 'blue' Distress Oxide Inks.

The 2 Crafty Polaroid frame has
been covered with patterned paper
and backed with white paper to
create a journal spot.

across the page to highlight different shapes
and patterns on the layout.
The small flowers were hand cut from
the Moody paper and they have
been added with foam tape.

The title has been created with
The words 'capture' and 'memories,
have been covered with Black Ink.

Limited Edition with Celebr8 #YOLO by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I've got a layout created with the super cool YOLO papers from Celebr8:

Limited Edition

The very first thing I loved about this collection is the cool people on the patterned paper, and immediately decided to fussy cut them all out. I loved the grungy background paper and decided to use this mounted on to some black cardstock to make it pop.

To get my people to stand out I have used some black paint and swiped it across the page, using the people as my measurement.

I've matted my photo with the black cardstock before adding some of the lighter patterned papers. Then I have fussy cut all the cute phrases and circles and made a cluster to the top left of my photo.

I've added some more fussy cut shapes to the bottom right of the photo, including the Limited Edition circle for my title. I've added some texture stamping over my papers to add to the grungy feel.

I've added some 2Crafty Chipboard stars that I have inked with black ink.

Some fussy cut quotes from the advertising strip complete my layout.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

#Awesome using Echo Park Paper First Day of School by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a double page
layout created with the collection
Echo Park First Day of School.
This range is generally for school photos,
but the primary colours and some of the
generic patterns in the papers
also work perfectly with sport photos.

Some recent photos of Mr H taken
in July this year doing what he loves.

Left side of the layout

Right side of the layout

for the background to pop the primary colours.
The multiple photos are the main focus
on the page, I have added stripes
of patterned paper to both sides of the page,
running in opposite directions.

I've used white & black gel pens
to add faux stitch borders to the photos
and some of the paper stripes.

provided the embellishments on the page.

The Cocoa Vanilla No Limits Accessory Sheet
had the perfect words to suit the photos.
I've added them to the page with
foam tape to create extra dimension.

has been covered with Black Ink.
I've then swiped it with metallic white rub
to define the edges of the chipboard
and lift the embellishment on the darker background.

The 2 Crafty Arrows have been covered
with black ink and swiped with metallic white rub.

The title 2 Crafty #Awesome has
also been covered with black ink
and then swiped with metallic white rub.
It works well to define the edges
on the block letters of the title.

I've used a frame from the
Frames & Tags pack as a journaling spot
and backed it with white cardstock.

Thank you for visiting the Blog today.
I hope you have been inspired by the layout
and get a chance to get creative over the weekend.

Official Rain Taster with Echo Park All About a Girl

Hello everyone

Back with another layout created with the super cute Echo Park All About a Girl range,
such an awesome collection for little girls.

Official Rain Taster

The rainbow paper was perfect for my rain layout and I've teamed it up with
my favourite colour combo of pink and teal then added a little pop of yellow!
Some doilies for some soft texture before adding a co-ordinating flower and some stickers.

I love the texture and dimension from the puffy stickers and puffy foam title.
A very light splattering of pale pink to complete the layout.

Awesome, Handsome and Brave using Cocoa Vanilla Studio No Limits by Kerryn Fry

Happy Friday everyone!
The page I am sharing today
has been created with the collection,
Cocoa Vanilla Studio No Limits.
The photos are from 2009,
Mr H aged 5 at Glenelg Beach.
His outfit matched the collection perfectly.

For something different this week, the base today
is a 12x12 sheet of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.
I thought the black would pop the colour a little more.

At the top of the page, I've used a strip
some hand cut stars from Nebula paper
and a journal spot from Universal paper.

I've used a gold gel pen to add
a faux stitch line across the page
and gold ink to colour the
Thicker numbers for the date.

There are multiple paper layers
under the photos, then I have used more
hand cut pieces from the Universal paper
to embellish the page.

The 'Star' tab is from the Accesssory Stickers
and it has been lifted with foam tape.
I've used a black gel pen to add borders
to some of the paper elements.

The photos have been matted with another
layer of black cardstock.
The words to left of the photos
are a mixture of hand cut elements
and stickers from the Accessory Sheet.
The elements have been lifted with foam tape.

I have added a little sparkle
to some of the elements on the page with

The rainbow journal 3x4 card
was hand cut from the Universal paper
and lifted with foam tape.

The black banner journal element
was also cut from the Universal paper.

The bottom right corner of the page
is a combination of hand cut journal card
and sticker elements from the Accessory Sheet.

The layers have been created with foam tape
and the sparkle with Glitter Glue.

The title for the page has been created with
words from the 2 Crafty Mini Word Set 4.
I've used the words Awesome, Handsome
and Brave, they have been covered with
Gold Ink and added to the page.

The word 'and' has been created with
Kaisercraft Alpha stickers, covered with
gold ink and then double matted with
scrap pieces of black and white cardstock.

The final layer is splashes of gold ink
on the black cardstock, love it!

Thank you for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have be inspired by the process.
Have a great weekend and
enjoy your crafting time.

The Best of Friends with Echo Park All About a Girl by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have used the totally cute All About a Girl collection by Echo park.
I adore this colour combo of pink and teal for this layout:

The Best of Friends

Love these super cute photos of my great niece and her best friend and they go perfectly with the gorgeous Echo Park All About A Girl papers. The pinks and teals are so pretty! To create some layers I have torn the papers and layered them across my page - adding a masked doily for background effect in the matching teal.

My photos I have put straight across the page before adding some Green Tara flowers in white and pink with some 2Crafty branches inked in green tea to complete my clusters.
Next a few co-ordinating stickers to match the colour combo.

The title is also 2Crafty, I have inked this in Teal and then added some sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

#Beauty using Uniquely Creative Moody Blues by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing another page that
I have created with the collection,
Uniquely Creative Moody Blues.
The B&W photos of my Great-Niece
were taken in July 2013 at Glenelg Beach.
A beautiful winter stroll during
the school holidays.

The base of the page is Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
I've planned the layout and then added
Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink
to specific parts of the cardstock
to highlight the chipboard elements.

The 2 Crafty 6inch Mandela No. 5
has been cut into two pieces,
each piece has been covered
with white gesso and then finished
with Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue.

The chipboard has been layered
on the Distress Ink and then paper elements
add on the chipboard.

The embellishment cluster on either side
of the photos have been created
with small paper mandalas that were
hand cut from Periwinkle paper
and elements from the Creative Cuts.

The white areas of the embellishments
have been highlighted with Glitter Glue.

To the right side of the photos I have
cut down a paper Mandala to add
the triangle pieces down the side of the paper.

The larger Mandala in the bottom right
corner of the page was cut from Moody paper
and decorated with more hand cut pieces
from the Periwinkle paper and Creative Cuts.

The word 'Hello' and quote are also
from the Creative Cuts pack.
I've used plenty of foam tape to
lift different elements on the page.

I've used Stickles Glitter Glue to
highlight different areas of each elements.

The title of the page '#Beauty' is
from the 2 Crafty Mini Words Set 13
I have covered the chipboard with black ink.

To finish the page I have added
both black and white ink splatters
over the page.

Thank you for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have enjoyed the steps.
Have a lovely weekend.
