Live Your Adventure using Kaisercraft Whisper by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
My project today was created with the collection Kaisercraft Whisper
This range has fantastic neutral tones that worked nicely with my photo.
Mr 15 doing some outdoor activities on school camp last year.

This week the Kraft cardstock was given some colour.
Using a few different brown Distress Oxides and Mowed Lawn,
I have applied the Oxides with plastic and water first.
Once dried, I have used both Kaisercraft & Crafters Workshop stencils
to add a few different ink layers.
The final layer is stamping with Kaisercraft Texture Stamp Paint Splatters
and Antique Linen Distress Oxide.

I have used the inks to frame the photo and paper layers.
The Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide coordinated with the green in the photo.

I have used the Collectables pack to add clusters to the page.
The different foliage pieces were added with foam tape
and tied in with outdoor theme.

I have added some touches of black to work in with Mr 15's outfit.
The photo has been matted with black cardstock
and I've cut a scallop strip along side the photo.
The dots have been added with a gold gel pen.

The 2 Crafty Rustic Tree has been inked with layers of brown Oxides
and touches of green.
I've doodled the leaves and truck with gold gel pen.

I have hand cut more foliage from the patterned paper Ecru
and added them to the base of the tree with foam tape.
The small squares have also been hand cut from the patterned paper Raw.

The sub title words are from the Collectables pack,
given some dimension with foam tape and a few foliage pieces added.

The title is a combination of two title pieces.
The 'Live Your' is from 2 Crafty Live Your Adventure
I have covered the chipboard with Black Soot Distress Archival Ink
and the outlined the words with the gold gel pen.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.
I hope you have enjoyed the post.
Have a great weekend, stay warm
and join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.

When the day is done, by Amanda H

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing a page I created using the Pink Paislee Indigo and Ivy collection.
It is a great range full of blues and neutrals - I love it!

I started this page with the No 4 paper in the range, as the base. Behind the 2 photos I
created a panel of patterned papers.
I used the 6x6 paper pad and cut and tore strips of the papers. I used more paper
from the 6x6 paper pad to mount the photo.

The page was finished with text, stickers and diecuts, which you can see in these close ups.

For the title, I combined Indigo and Ivy Thickers with some Websters alpha stickers.

In the corners, I combined stickers from the range, with chipboard diecuts.

It was fun to capture this moment of me and team finishing work for the day! The colours in this range were perfect!

Thanks for looking,
Amanda.

Moments with Pinkfresh Studio
Just a Little Lovely by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This weeks layout is created with the truly beautiful Pinkfresh Studio Collection
 Just a Little Lovely.
Adore this collection, love the colours and the acetate die-cuts.

Moment

This beautiful wreath background paper really needs nothing done to it,
 it is just stunning.
I did decide to matte it with a purple cardstock just to make the purples pop a bit more. Then I added the some of the acetate pieces around the frame with their pops of gold.
The pieces match the flowers on the wreath so co-ordinate nicely.

For my photo I added a couple of paper layers behind the photo in shades of
green & purple then added some similarly coloured ephemera from the
ephemera die-cuts pack of this collection and also from the Indigo Hills 2 collection.
I mounted a couple of the small die-cut flowers for some dimension before
finishing off my layout with the gorgeous multi-toned title - Moment from the
Puffy Phrase Sticker sheet. These are so beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Follow Your Heart using
Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul
by Kerryn Ffdry

Morning All!
Today I'm sharing my third page created with
Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul.
The colours in this pretty collection were perfect for this photo,
my beautiful niece playing outside while we were on holidays in 2012.
She is such a cutie!

I started with my norm, Kraft cardstock, but have left it clean for this page.
I have layered the patterned papers under the photo
and then lifted the photo with foam tape.
A few elements have been hand-cut from the papers,
like the buildings and colourful scallops to embellish the page
and I've hand punched a tag as well.

The 2 Crafty Clock Face Frame has been used to highlight my niece.
It has been covered with Wild Honey Distress Paint
and then I've added Stickles Diamond Glitter Glue to the numbers on the clock.

There is plenty of  2 Crafty chipboard foliage to embellish the page.
I've used 2 Crafty Leafy Twig Branch and cut it into two pieces.
It's been covered with Pine Needles Distress Paint.

The 2 Crafty Spring Flower Bunches have been painted with
Mowed Lawn, Victoria Velvet and Dusty Concord Distress Paint.
The Dusty Concord gave the blooms a few highlights
and then I've layered them over the Leafy Twigs.

The final chipboard addition to the spray of foliage
They were covered with Evergreen Bough and Picket Fence Distress Paint.
Once dry, I have added Diamond Stickles to the white part of the shrub.
I have again added foam tape to lift the layers of plants.
The Pea Pod Parts Die-Cuts were then used to add the finishing touches to the page,
small hearts, tiny blooms and the flowers.

The 2 Crafty title Follow Your Heart has been painted with Picket Fence Distress Paint.
I've used foam tape to lift the title to create more dimension.
The final touch is some string on the tag.

Thanks for dropping by today,
hopefully you have enjoyed the project.
Have a fab weekend
and join us again on Monday fro Fiona's next page.

This view, by Amanda H

Hi everyone,

I love to scrapbook the important moments in life, but also the little moments - like eating hot chips while looking at the Adriatic Sea! I used the PinkFresh Studios Out and About collection to create this page.

I used some bright yellow cardstock from my stash to start this page.

The patterned background paper is Travel icons. Then I cut tags and panels from the Bucket list paper and layered them around the photo.

In the close ups, you will see how I finished with the super cute puffy stickers and some 49 & Market Wishing bubbles. I also added some black pen doodling and some splatters of yellow watercolours.

Thanks for looking today! Hope you find time to scrapbook, even those little moments!

Amanda

Remember with Kaisercraft Enchanted by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Sharing another layout created with the whimsical Enchanted Collection by Kaisercraft.

Remember
I used some of the left over papers and embellishments that I used on my previous page to create this layout, with a new piece for my background. I love the pretty floral on the Utopia paper and used that as the focus and then bought in a little more red for the red in my photo.
How cute is the little wooden door? Had to add it to the page with some pretty Green Tara flowers coming out from behind it. Then adding a little journaling ephemera piece, and a curio.

On the other corner another curio and some ephemera.
The little quotes on the bottom of the papers are always a great way to add some journaling to your page. I have cut it up to fit on a few lines.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Happy using Penelope Dee Diamond Layne by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing the first layout I've created using
Penelope Dee Diamond Layne
A pretty collection with a gorgeous colour palette and simple patterns.
A very rare photo of just me!
I've changed the photo to B&W as my jacket has bright ornage on it
and I wanted to let the soft colours of the papers shine through.
The photo was taken on last year's snow trip
and look......no snowflakes!

I started with a simple & plain Kraft cardstock background,
perfect with the colours in the papers.
I've layered the papers, using the darker papers as the focus points.
Then the fussy cutting began!
I loved the leaves on the Precious paper
and used them as the main embellishment.

Loads of foam tape used on the page.
I've lifted the photo and the the words for dimension.
All of the leaves have been raised with foam tape.

The little flowers were cut from the Radiant paper
and add to the cluster of leaves with foam tape.
I've made use of the bottom strip of the papers,
using the diamond strip across the base of the photo.

I loved the triangles on the back of the Radiant paper
and have used them on the cardstock as an extra focus.
They have been lifted with foam tape.

I've used a gold gel pen as a highlight to the page.
Some faux stitching and some small dots in different spots
I also used it on some of the words.
Then using the Kaisercraft Tiny Dot stamp, I have add some subtle touches
to the background in random spots.

The 2 Crafty title Happy Days has been modified just to use the word Happy.
I have inked it with Distress Archival Ink
and then stamped with gold ink and Tiny Dot stamp.
The sub title was added with tiny alpha stickers from my collection.

A simple page with lots of dimension.
Thank you visiting the blog today,
enjoy your weekend and stay warm.
