Snapshot with Photoplays Tulla and Norberts Love Story by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I have a cute page using the delightful Tulla & Norbett's Love Story collection
by Photo Play, perfect for my layout:

Snapshots

For this layout I started with some white cardstock and had some fun with some Vicki Bourtin stencils and stamps for my background using Distress Oxide Inks and then adding a little stamping in black ink.

I layered up some of the cute papers - my focus was on the cute gnomes to match the giant hot pink guy in my photo! The fussy cut gnome made the cutest embellishment, mounting him on some cardboard and adding some kindy glitz to his beard.

Then finishing with a cute Vicki Boutin puffy sticker title and some Green Tara cherryblossoms.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

From this Day forward using Simple Stories Say Cheese at the Park By Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing the page I created with the collection
Simple Stories Say Cheese at the Park.
The photo is Mr H at Grandma's house
in his very first soccer outfit.

The base of the page is Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
A clean piece of cardstock to let
the colours in the collection shine.

I have hand cut the clouds and
sun from the Tags paper and
added them to the pager with foam tape

for the first layer behind the photo.
Then layered the patterned papers
under the photo, balancing the black layers
to tie in the title chipboard.

The journal card is cut from
The camera has been hand cut

The 'Bursting with excitement' phrase
was hand cut form the Tags Paper.
I've used a scallop border punch
to create different edges.

I've used a black gel pen to add borders
to highlight certain paper layers.
The base for the title has been created
with 3 tags. I've used foam tape at
the tops of each tag to lift the layers.

The 2 Crafty title From this Day Forward
has been covered with Black Ink
and then added to the tags.

Thank you for visiting the blog today.
Enjoy your weekend and hopefully
you will fins some time for a little crafting.

Once Upon a Dream with Echo Park It's a Boy by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Back with another newborn baby boy page using the cute It's a Boy collection by Echo Park.

Once Upon a Dream

Love this cute sleepy photo and the gorgeous moon and star paper was the perfect background paper. I've added a full strip of it then found some co-ordinating yellow paper from another collection to use with a scallop punch to add a soft border. Adding some torn paper layers I've matted the photo before sticking it all down onto a clean and simple white cardstock background.

I've used the chipboard and sticker sheet to add some super cute little embellishment clusters. I added the older flair button from my stash and some older Thickers stars.

I've finished off my page with the perfect title - Once Upon A Dream by 2Crafty inked in the matching yellow. Also a cute little sticker tag with some twine.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

This is the Good Life using First Day of School Echo Park Paper by Kerryn Fry

Hello Crafters!
Today I am sharing my last page using
Echo Park Paper First Day of School.
The photos of Mr H were taken in 2009,
a true 5 year old boy playing in dirt.

The base page is Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
The background effect on the cardstock
has been created with Distress Oxide Inks
Mustard Seed and Wild Honey,
using a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil.
I've highlighted the top right corner,
an area under the title and
a small area on the left side.

The paper layers on the page are
my remaining pieces of  patterned papers
with a strip of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.

I've torn some of the paper strips
to add the white rough edge to the papers
and used two border punches to mix up the edges.
A white stitch line has been added
with a pen to tie in with the patterned paper.

The photos have been matted with
Bazzill Raven Cardstock and lifted
with foam tape for extra dimension.

The 2 Crafty Stars Pack have been
covered with black ink and patterned paper.

I've created a journal spot from a frame
out of the Frames & Tags pack.
I've lifted it with foam tape
and added a sub-title 'Wonder'
covered with black ink.

has been covered with black ink.
I've then used foam tape to lift
the title on the page.

Thanks for visiting the blog today,
hope you've enjoyed the page.

Perfection with Echo Park It's A Boy by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

This week I have a cute baby page to share using Echo Parks It's a Boy collection.

Perfection

The newest member of our family arrived last month and now I have lot of cute baby boy pages to do! The Echo Park It's A Boy collection is just adorable, cutest colour combo of navy, teal nd pops of yellow.

I've started with some stenciling - yellow stars and some grey dots using Distress Oxides. Next I've layered up some papers with some torn edges before hitting the cute embellishments. I have used the 12 x12 element sticker sheet and the 6 x13 Chipboard Accents.

A few pieces from my stash - a cute tag, flair and enamel dot combine well with the cute stickers and chipboard pieces.

And a 2Crafty chipboard title "Perfection" inked in navy the final finishing touch.

My Beautiful Niece using Bella Blvd Time to Travel by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
This week my layout has been created
with the collection Bella Blvd Time To Travel.
Not a travel photo, but a very cute photo
of one of my nieces in a beautiful floral dress.
The colours just worked perfectly,
her hair, her eyes and that dress.

The base is a 12x12 sheet of
Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
I've coloured the background with
Tim Holtz Layering Stencil
and three different Distress Oxide Inks.
I've used Candied Apple,
Spiced Marmalade and Kitsch Flamingo.

I've kept the richest part of the stencilling
to the outside edge of the cardstock
and then fading it towards the papers.
Using Distress Oxide Ink gives
the strong pop of colour on the Kraft.

The top right corner of the photo
has been embellished with stickers
and hand cut florals from the Back Roads paper
I've raised some of the elements
with foam tape for extra dimension.

The bottom right corner of the photo
is a mixture of stickers form the Sticker Sheet
and hand cut elements the camera
and cactus from the Borders paper.

The photo has been layered

The small cameras to the left side
of the photo have been
hand cut from the Borders paper

The journal spot and pink banner flag
are form the Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush Stickers Book.

There are more hand cut flowers
from the Back Roads paper
and stickers from the Sticker Sheet.

I have add touches of sparkle
to different elements on the page
with Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue

has been covered with black ink
and added to the page with glue.

I have added extra hand cut embellishments
around the title with foam tape.

Thanks for visiting the blog today,
hopefully the page has inspired you to create.

Have a great weekend and join us again on Monday.

Life's a Zoo and Zoo Day with Simple Stories into the Wild by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I have two multi photo layouts to share using the cute zoo themed paper by Simple Stories - Into the Wild. I had a lot of photos from a recent trip to Australia Zoo and decided to do similar layouts. First up:

Life's a Zoo

Love a kraft background for animal pages, add a coloured paper background for a frame and some stamping to give it some colour. I've printed out my photos in a small 3x4 size so I can fit multiple photos onto the one page. I've used brighter patterned papers as the photos are quite neutral in colour.

Ive used the Simple Stories Into the Wild stencil for my leaves with some Distress Oxide and my embellishments are from the Sticker Book:

My title is a sticker from the sticker book with a paper square cut from the 2x2 Elements Sheet, and then I have added a cute little Australia wood veneer from Kaisercraft which I've had in my stash, to represent Australia Zoo.

My second layout I did a few weeks later than the first - I still had multiple photos to scrap so I thought I will tie them in with a similar design:

Zoo Day

Again I have  the leaf stencil with some distress oxide on Kraft to create my background then mounted that onto a patterned paper for a border. I've gone with the similar design, only slightly varied due to the rotation of the photos. I've laid my patterned paper out a little differently and used different sitckers to embellish.

Love the cute stickers - little extra titles and some super cute animals that tie in well with this page:

Some cute clusters

And I finished off the page with another 2x2 element which I've used as my tittle and another Australia Wood Veneer.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Simply the Best using Echo Park Paper First Day of School by Kerryn Fry

Hello Crafters!
My page today has been created with
Echo Park Paper First Day of School.
The photos of Mr H are not school related,
but the primary colours in the collection
worked well with the Clipsal 500 photos.
A great family day captured in his smile.

The base for the layout is
and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink
to create the background effect.
I love how the oxide works
on the black cardstock.

I've also used the black cardstock
as a layer behind the larger photo.
The smaller photo has been lifted
with foam tape to add extra dimension.

The word stickers on the page are
from the Cocoa Vanilla No Limits Collection.

The paper layers under the photo are
a mixture of solid patterns, colours and stripes.
The background effect ties in with
the touches of yellow in the papers
and the background of the larger photo.

The green spot frame is from
the Frames & Tags. and I have backed
the frame with white cardstock and
used it to add my journaling and date.
I have raised the journal spot
with foam tape.

The ' All Smiles' circle has been cut from the
and added to the photo with foam tape.

has been covered with Black Ink
and added with foam tape.

A simple page this week that I love.
Thank you for visiting the blog today.
Have a happy crafty weekend and join
us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.
