So Very Sweet
Simple Stories Lavender Fields
Kellie Moore

Hi Scrappy Friends!
It's Kel here today sharing another layout using the Simple Stories Lavender Fields collection.
For todays page I decided on a grid design. Dividing the age into 4 segments, 2 places hold photos, one holds the title and the last one I made an embellishment cluster...have a look.

For my title I used one of the foam stickers. To help it pop on the page I cut a circle out
of one of the black papers...this helps it to stand out.

On the top right hard, I used one of the large die cuts, it makes a statement on its own,
I just added some gauze behind it for some texture.

For the two photos I just added some offset paper layers to add interest and added some
stickers and die cuts.

To finish the page I added some rub ons from 49 and Market.

I hope you are inspired today and are enjoying some of your own scrappy time.
See you next time

Kel

18
using Simple Stories Rustic Legend
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week I've got a rare "boy" page to share, using Simple Stories Rustic Legend to document my nephews 18th Birthday:

18

I love the woodgrain background paper and this already has stars stamped on to it, so I continued that theme when embellishing. But first I wanted to grunge it up a little bit, so I tore my paper edges and used a black cardstock background. Then I added a torn piece of the check paper before adding some other paper strips which I grunged up a little too

I stuck with the stars to embellish my page and there were plenty to be found on the Icon Sticker Sheet. I made clusters for both the top left and bottom right corners of the layout. Next I added this large camera and the journaling freeze the moment. I added a shipping tag and then finished with some woodgrain alphas to make my title 18.

Thanks for stopping by
 till next week

Wonderful with Carta Bella Silly Goose and 2Crafty Chipboard by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week I have created a layout using the adorable Silly Goose collection by Carta Bella.

Wonderful

Isn't this collection so cute? Love it. For this page I have used white cardstock and an older Vicki Boutin stencil to mask some flowers in light green ink and mounted by cardstock on to green patterned paper.

Next I have used the super adorable goose paper as a feature paper across my page, adding a torn bottom edge for texture. I have matted my photo with the contrasting red and added some small banners to tie the papers together. Then I have fussy cut some of the journaling shapes from the Journaling Cards paper to embellish.

I love these 2Crafty handdrawn hearts, I've simply inked this one and tucked it under my photo. I then added some fabulous white wildflowers by Prima and some cute 49 and market enamel dots with words.

I completed my layout with a simple one word title Wonderful.

Simple Stories Lavender Fields
Kellie Moore

Hello Everyone..
It's Kel here today sharing a page I made with the Simple Stories Lavender Fields collection.
This range is so pretty with purple and golden tones, lots of florals and sweet icons.
I am documenting a single photo of my niece and her mumma.
 Have a look.

I started by cutting some hexagons and laying with them across the page, adding some
hand stitching to them. I love the texture stitching adds.

I have added some paper layers behind my photo, and used a die cut piece for my title.

I have added some fussy cut and die cut florals to the top left and bottom right of
my page, along with some die cuts and foam stickers.

Happy Birthday with 49 and Market It's your Day by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back today with another layout using the 49 and Market All-in-One kit - It's Your Day.
I love that everything you need is all in the one pack!

Happy Birthday!

For this layout I chose this fun sunburst patterned paper and then matted it on to one of the plain yellow papers - I then matted my photo with the same yellow then added some pink stripey strips and a star banner.

I've embellished my layout with some of the fun balloons from the cut out sheets in the kit as well as some tabs, tags, party hats, presents and journaling spots.

The title is also from the journaling sheets. To finish off my layout I have used the stars and mounted some with foam tape to add some dimension to my layout and a little extra to the starburst design:

Beauty
with Arden Creative Field Notes
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This collection by Arden Creative is most definitely one of my favourites!
I've got a few more layouts to share with Field Notes, starting with this one of
 my eldest daughter:

Beauty

I started with the background paper which has a a lovely leafy edging. I then added several layers behind my photo, using a torn gingham green matting at the back to tie in with the background paper and her top.  I then added some of the gingham print to the top and bottom of the background paper.

I framed my photo with some gorgeous floral stems from the laser cut pack then added a several of the butterflies from the pack too.

My journaling is fussy cut from one of the journaling paper pieces in the paper pad. I love this 2Crafty title Beauty - I've inked with Distress Oxide ink then added some stickles glitter. I finished off with a cute button from an old Uniquely Creative collection.

Good Times
with 49 and Market Artful Moments
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week I'm back with some 49 and Market Artful Moments collection to document a photo I have had ready to scrap for a while!

Good Times

When I saw this background paper in the Artful Moments Paper Pad,  I knew it was the right range for this adorable photo of my great niece doing some finger painting.  I fussy cut the cute crayons from one of the papers - and I still have butterflies that I have fussy cut to add to my pages!!

I've then combined some embellishments from the Journaling Bits set and the Laser Cut elements to continue my arty theme - colour wheels, paintbrushes etc.

I ended up going through my stash for the title and came up with this one which is from am old Cocoa Vanilla collection - Good times!

You Are My Greatest Adventure
Echo Park My Favorite Monster
Kellie Moore

Welcome back to the Blog!

It's Kel here today sharing another page with the Echo Park My Favorite Monster collection.
Today I'm scrapbooking two photos of my twin boys from a VERY long time ago, they recently turned 19!!

Here it is...

started with one of the patterned papers as my background which is a bit different for me, I tend to use white cardstock a lot but I challenged myself. I then chose two of the papers and cut some large pieces to lay vertically down the left side of the page to anchor my photos on.

I have offset my photos, leaving a gap between them to have a place to put my title which came from the cardstock stickers.

Above and below my photos I have used some 2Crafty Interlocking grid panel pieces which I coloured black. I love how they pop off the page and add some great dimension.

I have also added some ephemera pieces and chipboard .

I have also added some 2Crafty chevrons to the sides of my photos which are great to direct the eye to the photos.

I decided to add another cluster to the right of my page to help create balance. A few strips of paper and stickers.

I hope you are inspired and check this collection out in the shop.
See you next time
Kel

Wild Thing
Echo Park My Favorite Monster
Kellie Moore

Hello!
It's Kel here today sharing my DT layout using the new Echo Park collection called My Favorite Monster. When I saw this collection in the shop I immediately fell in love with the monsters in this range. They are so cute and fun!

Today Im scrapbooking two photos of my son when he was a toddler wearing his toilet training undies and gumboots... I really do miss those early years, they grow up wayyyyy too quickly!

Here is a look...

For the base of my page I started with some patterned papers laid vertically down the right side of the page then cut a large circle for my photos to sit on. I used some of the 6x6 papers to mount my photos and laid them down slightly offset.

I then cut another smaller circle to add to the bottom left of the page to create a cluster and another point of interest.

The page was feeling a bit plain, so I added some stenciling to the background using a Vicki Boutin stencil and green ink.

To the left of my photos I added a journalling piece from the ephemera pack, layered up with some 2Crafty Dotty Bits which I coloured black.

For my title I used a piece from the Chipboard Set...

To finish off my page I added some more of the chipboard pieces, puffy stickers and stickers above and below my photos.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my page today and you check this collection out in the shop!
See you soon
Kel
