Sweetest
Arden Creative Field Notes
Kellie Moore

Hello Scrappy Friends,

It's Kel on the blog today sharing a page using the gorgeous Arden Creative Field Notes collection.
This collection is SO pretty with the pastel colours with the mix of florals, foliage and butterflies.
Today I'm documenting two photos of my sweet niece with her Mum.

Here it is.

I started with using two of the patterned papers ripped on a diagonal across the top of my page and I also mounted my white cardstock onto two papers to create a border around my whole page.

I placed one of the papers from the 6x8 pad into the centre of my page then placed my photos offset. I then created various clusters around the photos using a mix of the laser cuts, ephemera, tickets and
 rub ons.

Some close ups of the lovely finishing touches.

My title is using a piece from the Ephemera pack.

I love this collection so much, I hope you check it out in the store...its so sweet.

See you next time
Kel

Love This with Arden Creative Field Notes by Fiona Siegel

Hello

This weeks layout is created with the lovely Field Notes collection by Arden Creative:

Love This

These flowers on this paper were absolutely perfect for this photo of me with these giant flowers! I had to cut it and make it the top section of my layout! I then added some strips of paper in pinks and oranges to match up with my photo colours.

I've embellished my layout using the laser cuts from the collection.  Then I have hit up my 49andMarket stash - using some chipboard words and the Love This title, and the chip hearts from some of the older ranges - these are great to mix and match! Then I have used a couple of 49andMarket flowers to finish off my page.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Be Yourself with Mintay Papers - Lady's Secret by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back today with the stunning Lady's Secret collection by Mintay Papers:

Be Yourself

I do love the background papers and the colours in this collection - so very pretty! I have used one of the scene papers as my background, giving it a slight trim before roughing up the edges and then matting it on to the black paper.

Next I have layered up some of the papers around my photo, adding some tears for extra interest and texture.

Love the die-cuts and they are perfect for some extra scene setting - some flowers, a fan , feathers and a sweet butterfly on the right, then on the left  a makeup bag, mirror, rose and brooch.

Next I have used the Stickers Words from the collection to create my title - Be Yourself and then add some journaling to complete my page.

Thanks for stopping by

Till next week

Perfect Together
49 & Market Plume and Petals
Kellie Moore

Hey Scrappy Friends, welcome to the blog today.

It's Kel today sharing a page using the gorgeous collection from 49 & Market called
Plume and Petals. The colours and the floral laser cuts really have my heart in this collection.

Today I'm documenting a photo from my Great Aunts wedding back in 1946.
I love looking at the wedding dresses from decades ago.
 Here is my page.

I started with using a piece of white cardstock as my base as i really wanted the laser cuts
and rub ons to pop off the page. I started with the large arch window laser cut in my
background to anchor my photo. I then added some papers and diecuts under the photo
to add more layers.

To the right of my photo I used the large piano laser cut along with a frame, more diecuts
and rub ons. I really love rubs on to create a mixed media look without the mess.

I wanted to add more to the arch window, so I layered a bunch of the florals around
 it... love how that looks.

For my title I used a piece from the chipboard pieces.

To finish off I added a rub on and some of the feathers to the top of the page... and a
few gold splatters around the page.

I hope you enjoyed my page today and have found some inspiration.
See you next time
Kel

Happy Birthday with Echo Park Party Animal by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

I have another birthday layout to share this week, again using Echo park party Animal collection:

Happy Birthday

For this layout I went with a fun banner design, using the cute balloon paper as the central focus and teaming it up with the more neutral patterned pink and purple. All on white cardstock, matted with blue which I have also used to matt by photo.

To add a little extra detail to my banner I have used some twine and glued it across with bows either side to make the banner appear to be hanging.

Next I have some flowers in a sweet cluster to match my pinks and purples. Also some cute enamel hearts smattered about.

Then I have used the sticker sheet from the Party Animal Collection to embellish and title my page, then added a few more flowers and hearts to balance out my layout.

Thanks for stopping by

Cousins
with Simple Stories Take Note
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week I've been creating with the pretty Simple Stories collection Take Note:

Cousins

For this layout I teamed florals up with some black, adding some paper layers down my page and adding some pinks and blues. Then I have added this striking large camera with flowers that I have fussy cut from the 4x6 elements paper to use as a focal embellishment. I added the Little momets journaling circle to the the centre of the camera with some mounting tape and separately added the Big Smiles words from the element sheet.

I then added some complimentary flowers to the top right corner of my photo and a tab along the top.

I've used some old thickers from my stash for my title Cousins and then added some Cocoa Vanilla Sticker journaling to finish my layout off.

Special Moments
Simple Stories Junk Drawer
Kellie Moore

Hi Everyone

It's Kel here today sharing another page with the Simple Stories Junk Drawer collection.

I'm really enjoying documenting some of my family history and this collection is perfect!
This is a photo of my grandfather when he was a little boy with his parents and siblings. I printed the photo large which isn't something I do often, but I do love how it stands out on the page.

Here it is...

I started with using a woodgrain paper from my stash as the background. I wanted
something  neutral but not white and this was perfect.
I started by using two of the patterned papers from the collection to add a horizontal base
for my photo to sit on.

I then created 3 embellishment clusters around my photo, using pieces from the
die cut packs, foam stickers, cardstock stickers and brads. Before I added the
embellishments I used some gold paste through a stencil to add more detail to the background.

For my title I used some gold puffy stickers and the 'moments' piece is from the collection.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, I hope you enjoyed my page today.

See you next time
Kel

Beautiful
with Mintay Lady's Secret
by Fiona Siegel

Hello

How pretty is this collection by Mintay? It's called Lady's Secret and I just adore this pink and green colour combo.

Beautiful

This large mirror patterned paper really drew me in and chose it as my background, but matted it on to the cool quilted green paper, after roughing up the edges. I then tucked a few cute flowers from the Die-Cuts to add some details.

My photo I have matted with some complimentary papers - a floral mix of pink, white and green and then the pink neutral. I then lined my photo up to fit within the mirror, like a frame. My next step to embellish and I have used the beautiful die-cuts from the collection and added some flowers, a polaroid, a fan and some cute butterflies!

I finished my layout off with the Paper words stickers for my title and some journaling!

Girl Gang
Simple Stories Junk Drawer
Kellie Moore

Hey Everyone!
It's Kel here today sharing a page with the Simple Stories Junk Drawer collection.

I really like this collection for its versatility. It has a vintage vibe but I also think it could
 be used for current photos.
The icons are so pretty with the florals and butterflies.
Today I'm documenting a page of my grandmother with her sisters and extended family.
I have recently been exploring my family tree, wanting to document some of my heritage.

Here is my page

I have started by using two of the patterned papers to make vertical strips on the left side
of my page, then creating lots of layers under my photo which helps create balance horizontally.

I have 3 embellishment clusters on my page, made using lots of the embellishments from
the
collection. The diecuts, stickers, brads. I also stenciled some hearts on my background.

For my title I used some alphabet stickers from Vicki Boutin from the 'Curiosities in
 Willow Grove' collection.

I hope you have enjoyed my page and have found some inspiration today.
See you soon
Kel
