Snow Happy using Photo Play For The Love of Winter by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today the page I've created has been done with the collection
Photo Play For The Love of Winter.
Using more photos from our favourite seasons.
Mr 15 posing in the snow at Lake Mountain, Victoria.
We always love it when the snow falls.

Another clean background this week.
Starting with my fav Bazzill Kraft Cardstock,
I've layered the papers under the photo.
Using a white gel pen, I have doodled around the edge of the paper.

I have hand cut some elements from the paper Get Cozy.
The snowman and subtitle have been added to the page with foam tape.
I've also added some element stickers for some extra detail.
The 2 Crafty Funky Snowflakes have been covered with
Picket Fence Distress Paint.
Once dry, I've added Stickles glitter glue.

Love the sparkle on the snowflakes,
I've also added touches of glitter to the papers

One of the tress has been hand-cut from Get Cozy,
that has been add with foam tape.
The second tree is a sticker from the Element Sheet.
The birds and words are all stickers.
I've also doodled some faux stitching with a white pen.

The 2 Crafty title Snow Happy was a custom title.
It was base-coated with Distress Paint
and then given a thick coat of Diamond Stickles.
I have created a tag from patterned paper
and added the title to it.

Thanks for visiting the blog today,
I hope you have a great weekend.

Journey, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi AAS fans,
Sharing a pretty page today - using the Prima Apricot Honey collection.
I love the florals combined with the copper highlights in this collection.

I used two main papers to create this page.
I started with the grey back of the All Together paper for the background - I also mounted
the photo in this paper and fussy cut some butterflies.

Next I machine stitched the next paper - this glorious marbled floral Tiny Blossoms paper.

To embellish the page, I used some 2 Crafty chipboard pieces, some muslin, some flowers,
 and the fussy cut butterflies.

For the title I used the 2 Crafty word Journey. I embossed the title using a copper embossing powder. I layered this on a 2 Crafty flower doily (painted grey), with muslin and flowers.

The flowers are Prima Lovely Peaches flowers from the same Prima collection.

I also painted a 2 Crafty chipboard key grey and placed it amongst muslin, flowers and a
 fussy cut butterfly.

What a pretty page of my beautiful daughter!
Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Don't let anyone ever Dull your Sparkle
with Carta Bella Home Again
by Fiona Johnstone

Hello Everyone

Creating with the latest collection from Carta Bella - Home Again. I just adore the colour combos in this collection.

Don't let anyone Ever Dull your Sparkle

I've mainly used the B Sides of this collection, starting with the spotted base paper and adding the blue floral paper as a feature colour. I've added another layer of black floral to compliment my daughters dress then added the strips of woodgrain for contrast.

Gorgeous Green Tara flowers in blue and white were the perfect embellishment, teamed up with some 2Crafty chipboard leaves. I added some stickers for a little journaling.

Finally finished the layout off with this long 2Crafty title - Don't let anyone ever dull your Sparkle. I've inked this in silver ink which makes it pop off the page and not get lost in the black and white background.

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Original Girl using Simple Stories So Happy Together by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone!
This week I have created my first page using the collection,
Simple Stories So Happy Together.
Such a beautiful range that
matched perfectly with my photo.
My gorgeous niece with her amazing blue eyes
and her 'strawberry blonde' hair.

The page started with a clean piece of Kraft Cardstock.
I've then mapped out my chosen 2 Crafty chipboard pieces
and decided on the colours for each piece.
The 2 Crafty 6x6 Diamond panel was a perfect starting piece.
It has been covered with Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint
and then backed with the reverse side of the 3x4 Elements paper.

The 2 Crafty Frangy Flowers have been covered
with Abandoned Coral Distress Paint.
Once dry, I have outlined with a white gel pen.
The centre of the flowers have been hand cut from the paper Hello Love
and added with foam tape.
The extra flower were cut from the paper Love Us
and the larger heart and camera hand-cut for the paper 3x4 Elements.

The 2 Crafty Mini Branches were given a two-tone finish.
Originally covered with Bundled Sage
and finished with swipes of Peeled Paint Distress Paint.
The sub-title Love & Laughter has been cut out form the 2x2 Elements paper
and add with foam tape.
The cardstock sticker added the finishing touches.

The stripe of colour across the top of the page is a favourite of mine.
A small piece cut from the 4x4 Elements paper
and embellished with a few more cardstock stickers.

The hearts are also from the 4x4 Elements paper.
I have used foam tape again for a little dimension and to create an extra layer.

The first part of the title is the 2 Crafty word Original,
I have covered it with Wild Honey Distress Paint
and added the white outline once the paint was dry.
The second part of the title has been created with some alpha stickers.

And that's a wrap on my page for this week.
Thank you for dropping by today to check out the project.

Making time, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone!

I am here today to share one more page using the Vicki Boutin Wildflower & Honey collection. I have truly loved working with this range: the designs and colours are incredible!

I started this page with the black textured background of the Greenery paper.
The next layer was the spotty Create a Buzz paper. While I was laying out the page, I also circle punched some of the circles from the paper, to use as details later.

The top two panels are the teal Full Bloom paper and the red Happy Spirit paper - these cut into panels as more paper layers.

In the close ups, you will see how I have used Vicki Boutin papers and stickers to finish the page.

This red flower was fussy cut from some of the packaging of the layered butterflies. It is combined here with thickers stickers and the circles I had punched from the paper.

I saved my lucky last layered sticker butterfly - and it looks so sweet on the circle!

Including the circles punched from the paper, on foam tape, added an interesting detail and dimension to each cluster.

That is it for today! What an amazing collection - there is still plenty in store.... but be quick! It is selling fast!

Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Carefree with Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Still creating with the beautiful Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely collection.

Carefree
Love the floral background paper and decided to leave it plain for this layout though it would be a great one to colour in. I've added some co-ordinating papers before adding my black and white photo.
Always the perfect embellishments to co-ordinate with the papers in these collections. I've gone with the purples and pinks alongside the gorgeous acetate die-cuts.

I LOVE, LOVE these puffy phrase stickers, they make the perfect title. I've finished off with some enamel dots, again in co-ordinating colours, adding a little green to compliment my green feature paper strip.

Thanks for stopping by

Till next week

Unforgettable memories using Simple Stories Heart by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing another page created
with the gorgeous collection, Simple Stories Heart.
This time, I've managed to adapt the collection for my latest snow page.
The photo is a beautiful moment of my mum, aka G'ma and a younger Mr 15.
The colours were a great match to the papers
This was our first trip to the Victoria Snowfields
and we all had a ball.
The page started with the usual Kraft cardstock.
Then using a Simple Stories snowflake stencil
and a few Distress Oxide Inks, I've built up the colours in the background.
I have marked the photo placement on the cardstock with pencil
and then started stenciling with Brillaince white ink and a sponge.
Once the ink was dry, I've added layers in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide,
Evergreen Bough and Scattered Straw.

The next layer was created with Kaisercraft Texture Stamp - Painted Splatter
Scattered Straw Distress Oxide and Gold Brilliance Ink.
I've randomly stamped on the outer edge of the stenciled snowflakes.

There are 3 different types of 2 Crafty snowflakes on the page.
The 2 Crafty Linear Snowflakes have been covered
with Gold Brilliance Ink and the centre decorated with Diamond Stickles.

The 2 Crafty St Nicks Snowflakes has been base-coated with Gesso
and then coloured with white Brilliance ink.
The third snowflake are the 2 Crafty Funky Snowflake was also
covered with gesso and Diamond Stickles.

I've used the Sticker Sheet and Cardstock stickers to embellish the page.
The heart stickers and words were added to the journal spot to create a cluster.

I've hand punched a few more snowflakes from patterned paper
and added them to the snowflake centres.
The Cardstock gold hearts were the final touch to the page.

The title was created from 2 Crafty Unforgettable
and a word sticker from the sheet.
The chipboard title has been covered with gold ink.

Thanks for dropping by the blog today.
Hopefully you have enjoyed the steps to the page.
Have a fab weekend
and please join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.
