Hello everyone
This collection by Arden Creative is most definitely one of my favourites!
I've got a few more layouts to share with Field Notes, starting with this one of
 my eldest daughter:
Beauty  

I started with the background paper which has a a lovely leafy edging. I then added several layers behind my photo, using a torn gingham green matting at the back to tie in with the background paper and her top.  I then added some of the gingham print to the top and bottom of the background paper. 

I framed my photo with some gorgeous floral stems from the laser cut pack then added a several of the butterflies from the pack too. 

My journaling is fussy cut from one of the journaling paper pieces in the paper pad. I love this 2Crafty title Beauty - I've inked with Distress Oxide ink then added some stickles glitter. I finished off with a cute button from an old Uniquely Creative collection.

Happy Birthdaywith Uniquely Creative Written in the Starsby Fiona Siegel

This week I have created with the super fun Uniquely Creative collection - Written in the Stars collection. Just love this range, nice to see something a bit different from their usual pastel florals. 
Happy Birthday 

As soon as I saw this collection I knew I wanted to create a layout with lots of the stars from the Creative Cuts pack. I love how it also has come florals too a perfect combo.  I decided to used the plain words background as a base but add some matting behind for extra colour. I really like the black check to make the layout pop and added a thinner matte of yellow as well. 
Next I did used the plastic bag technique and Distress Oxide inks to add some yellow to my background then used a darker yellow to add some splotches. 

Then on to the fun part of teaming up some stars and florals to make a spread of stars across my page with my photo centred between. I've then added some of the flowers to the mix.

I've used the Creative Cuts for my title as well and added some more flowers and cute shooting star underneath. Then I have finished it off with one of the chipboard stickers.

Discover Places with Simple Stories Happy Travels by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back with more Japan travel pages, this time scrapping a unique Japanese experience:
Discover Places

For this layout I wanted to focus on the pinks and then added the dark blue for contrast, love the combo together mixed with some stripes and florals. I've gone for a linear design with my papers then teamed it up with some shipping tags, two tucked to the left and one as a quote. 

Always love a little twine around my tags, in this instance, just the main one to draw focus to it. I've embellished with some of the foam sticker hearts from the collection and then added some cute paper pink flowers from my stash.

I finished my page off with my title Discover Places, using the foam stickers from the collection.

Strawberry Delights with Doodlebug Berry Sweet by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
A fun one today with Doodlebug Sweet Berry Collection, documenting some of the strawberry foods I had over in Japan!
Strawberry Delights

For this layout I started with my papers that featured strawberries, then picked some to coordinate and grabbed the sticker sheet too! I went with a white background and added some pink hearts - to show my love of all things strawberry. A light stenciling and a few sploshes before layering up the papers. 

After the papers I have used a bunch of the cardstock stickers to embellish, adding some Green Tara flowers too. Love how cute the Doodlebug phrases and embellishments are!

Then I added a title, using a lovely bright green to pop off the page and a lighter pink to compliment the layout.

My Heart with Vicki Boutin Cut and Paste by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Another layout with the very popular Cut and Paste Collection by Vicki Boutin. 
My Heart

Love the blues and greens in this collection, particularly the large spot paper. I've used the word print paper as my base and matted it on to black cardstock before adding some distress oxide ink in blues and greens to match my papers. I've added some tearing and distressing to my paper layers for this page. 

I've stuck with predominantly green, blue and neutral embellishments for this layout with black highlights that really pop! A mix of Ephemera Icons, Cardstock stickers, Ephemera Titles and the fun 12x12 foam stickers which add some cool dimension. 
How cute are these  cardstock sticker clouds?

My title is from the Ephemera Title pack which has a great assortment of styles to make your titles with.

Back with another layout using the beautiful Simple Stories
Vintage Flower Shoppe collection:
Good Vibes

For this layout I chose to focus on the pinks and florals from the collection.
 I teamed  this up by using a Vicki Boutin Stencil and Foundations Paper to
 create my background with pink - Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks. 

You can see a close up of the distress ink flowers, then I have added a mix of fussy cut and ephemera butterflies to the top of the page with a smattering of decorative brads. 

Some tabs and flowers from the bits and pieces ephemera teamed up with decorative brads. 
A gorgeous large floral basket embellishment from the bits and pieces ephemera pack,  alongside my foam stickers title before finishing off with some Cocoa Vanilla Studio word stickers.

Cutewith Echo Park Little Builderby Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Back with another share using Echo Park Little Builder and 2Crafty chipboard:Cute

For this layout I started with some white cardstock and some Distress Oxide ink and used the plastic technique to add some splotches to my page then a paintbrush for some splatters. Next I took my 2Crafty Grid panel, cut it up then inked in black ink to make it pop. 
I matt my white cardstock with the reverse of the Echo Park Little Builder Trucks paper, then I have taken several of the  patterned papers and layered them up behind my photo, then added a torn strip along the length of my page. 

Next I have fussy cut some labels from the 4x4 journaling cards and added some Vicki Boutin chipboard hearts to my page. 

I've inked the 2Crafty title Cute in Distress Oxide Rusty Hinge and used an arrow from the VB chipboard shapes. Some journalling words and a flair button from my stash before finishing off with some enamel hearts.

This is My Happy Facewith Echo Park Little Builderby Fiona Johnstone

Happy 2025!
 I am back from a short break with my first layout for 2025, featuring Echo Park Little Builder:
This is My Happy Face!

For this layout I knew the title I wanted for this page, so I started with my paper design using Echo Park Little builder papers and then added the 3x4 journaling piece. Next I have cut one of the other 3x4 pieces into single journaling strips to add some more context to the title as it doesn't quite match my photo! 
A cute VB chipboard star with a flair button from my stash over the top. 

I've used a black pen to outline the journaling piece and my white cardstock. Next I have embellished with lots of stars - I have used Vicki Boutin Chipboard Stars along with some cute button stars from my stash and the Doodlebug enamel stars. Some journaling stickers over a chipboard tab finished off with an enamel star. 

My title: This is my Happy Face I have inked in Distress Oxide inks - Tumbled Glass to match the lighter blue paper.

Fave Four for 2024 by Fiona Siegel

Here are my Fave Four for 2024!!

These are my favourites from the last twelve months! In no particular order:
Heart this 💖

I love the colours in this, very dramatic but soft with the flowers and butterflies.
Also 49 & Market had so many awesome collections this year.

This one was fun, loved using the chippy to document my daughter getting
 her P's and the cute twist on "traditional" boy paper.

Fussy cutting!!
This paper was perfect with its' carnival vibes and well worth the effort to fussy cut.
Mintay crated the prettiest of papers!
Together

Some fussy cutting, gorgeous colours and the very cool larger size embellishments
 in VB collections make this a fave.
Vicki Boutin papers are always so perfect!

Full of Lovewith Echo Park Our Happy Placeby Fiona Johnstone

This week I have a created a layout using the beautiful Our Happy Place collection
by Echo Park 
Full of Love

Love this little sequence of my sister and her granddaughter. The blue and pinks of this paper range are just perfect to document this moment. 
I layered up my papers with my photos trio with some tearing for texture then for the background I added some distress oxide in Saltwater Taffy to my white cardstock using the plastic bag technique and some splatters.
 I've then gone to my stash for some little hearts - all from Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream sticker sheet and a couple of enamel dots. 

Next some flower clusters using a mix of Green Tara and some pretty roses I found in my stash - a few more CVS hearts and my subtitle from Uniquely Creative. My main title is from the Echo Park collection chipboard titles.
