Always Lovely with 49 & Market Alena Collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with some more stunning 49 & Market Alena Collection. This time using the blues and pinks for this photo of my youngest:
Always Lovely

For todays layout I have used another pretty design for my base paper and then added one of the plainer papers and tore it down both sides to give me a neutral background. Then I tucked some pink torn paper under the right side to co-ordinate with the florals on the background paper. I've added some rub-ons onto the pale blue paper to add some interest. 

I've used one of the large floral ephemera pieces which I have stuck underneath my photo on either side to add to the floral vibe of my design. From the laser cut sheet I have used a lace strip and scrunched it up a little to give it some more texture before tucking it under the left side of my pale blue paper. I've then added ephemera butterflies to either side of my photo. 

Some film strips for this page again - I have cut them and tucked them top and bottom of my photo. For my title I have used these adorable stamps from the Laser cut sheet and layered them with a heart from the set for something a little different.

Making Memories Everyday using Bella Blvd School is Cool by Kerryn Fry

Happy Friday everyone!Today's page has been created with the collection Bella Blvd School is CoolThe perfect colours in this range to match Mr H's school uniformand the animal farm visit on the oval.Great photo taken by Gma in 2013,Mr H was in grade 3.

The base cardstock is Bazzill Raven Cardstock.

I've used black to pop the colours of the collection.

Simple clean lines and bare background.

The photos has also been layered on

Raven cardstock to define the photo edges.

I've used both black & gold pens to add

borders to some of the paper pieces and embellishments.

In the top corners of the layout 

I have added stickers from the 

DooHickey Sticker Sheet to embellish.

On the left side of the photo I have 

hand cut the library cards from 

the Daily Details paper and tucked

them under the photo edge.

I've then layered sticker embellishments

using foam tape over the library cards.

To the right side of the photo

I have used another hand cut card

from the Daily Details paper

and outlined the edges with the gold pen.

At the bottom of the layout

I have repeated the Wise One paper

and then layered circle embellishments

from the DooHickey Sticker Sheet.

Each sticker has been raised with foam tape

and staggered in their placement.

The red scallop sticker from the DooHickey Sheet

has been added to the bottom of the photo

and as the last edge on the bottom of the page.

Love the pops of red!

The 2 Crafty title Making Memories Everyday

has been covered with gold ink

and placed in the blank space below the photo.

The colour of the title piece ties in 

with the gold pen work across the page.

Beautiful Moment with 49 & Market Alena Collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
I have the stunning 49&Market Alena Collection to create with this week.
Truly stunning paper and amazing embellishments. 
Beautiful Moment

I love how fabulous these papers are, they make the perfect background with no need to add too much more. To make the background pop I have mounted the paper onto a slightly darker paper with a small edge and roughed the edges of my paper. 
Next I have added some paper layers behind my photo as well as some of the large ephemera pieces in the Ephemera Bits pack. 

I love the super cute twine piece from the laser cut elements pack and have used that as though it were twine and applied it under my photo along the floral paper, 

before adding some cute flowers by 49 & Market

and the super cute film strips come in awesome colours to co-ordinate with several of the 49&Market paper, so versatile! I finished the page with some cute rub-on butterflies at the top left of my page and a smattering of ephemera ones.

Today I'm sharing my second page

created with the beautiful collection

Just For You by Celebr8

The photos of a younger Mr Hwere taken at Botanic Park in 2009,amongst the massive fig trees.Love how well the t-shirt matches!

I've used Bazzill Kraft Cardstock 

as a sturdy base for the layout.

The patterned paper layers are the main

feature of the page with a torn edge

across the bottom of each paper.

At the top of the page, I've used a strip

of patterned paper cut from one of the 

embellishment papers and then layered

a hand cut border strip underneath.

The photos have been layered on 

the orange patterned paper to pop the 

colours on the t-shirt.

I've hand cut some tags to tuck 

under the photo and used a gold pen 

to add borders to some of the layers.

There was some fussy cutting done

for the leaves, bees and hexagon pieces.

I've used foam tape to add the 

pieces to the page to create layers

and dimension.

The words have been hand cut

from the patterned papers and then

added to the bottom of the photos.

All of the hexagons have been cut

from the patterned paper.

The larger hexagons have been 

add to the left of the photos to create

an embellishment cluster.

The small black hexagons have 

been added to either side of 

the photos in small clusters.

I've used foam tape to lift 

them off the base of the page.

The 2 Crafty 6x4 Phrase Stick Set 5

has provided the title 'happiness is this'

for the page. I have covered the chipboard

with gold ink and added the title 

to the bottom of the large hexagon.

The gold pen borders around the paper 

pieces ties in the gold on the page.

Celebrate 50 with Simple Stories Celebrate! by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week for I've created a birthday celebration layout using Simple Stories Celebrate collection - and added bonus, it is on sale in the clearance section!!
Celebrate 50

Love the colours in this range, super versatile for any and all birthday pages. As I had a few photos to scrap I have used a simple square design, cutting a large square of the pink Party Time paper, centred onto my white cardstock then I've added a border around that in pen before adding a wide strip of the Way to Go paper, and a thin strip from the reverse side. 

Next it was time to embellish and I've used the cute stickers from the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker Sheet . Lots of in theme stickers - balloons, presents, cakes, party words!

Love the big banner on the sticker sheet which was perfect for part of my title. I then used some old thickers to add the big number!

A Moment to Treasure using Echo Park Paper Let's Create by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!Today I am sharing a page that has been created with the collection Echo Park Paper Let's Create.
Such a pretty colour palette, perfect for some family photos of my Aunty, my sister and I while visiting our family heritage tree located in Springton.

I've used 12x12 Bazzill Kraft Cardstock

as the base for the layout. Then using some 

Brilliance gold ink and The Crafters Workshop

6x6 Mini Tiny Circles stencil, I've added 

some stencilling around the page.

The embellishment cluster on the top left 

of the photos has been created with 

hand cut flowers from Fresh Flowers paper.

I've used foam tape to lift the flowers

and then added stickers from the Sticker sheet.

There are more hand cut flowers on

the right side of the photo lifted with foam tape 

and decorated with some Stickles Glitter Glue.

Some of the papers and photos have

been highlighted with gold pen.

The bottom right corner of the photo

is a larger sticker from the Sticker Sheet.

I've added some stickers from my stash.

To the left of the photo I've added a journal 

card from the 4x6 Journaling Card paper.

The smaller square photos have been lifted 

with foam tape and double matted

with layers of patterned paper.

I've added some heart stickers to the top

corner of the photos and decorated 

them with some Stickles Glitter Glue.

The embellishments under the title are a mixture 

of hand cut flowers and the large flower sticker.

Some highlights of glitter glue with 

the 2 Crafty title A Moment to Treasure

add on top of the flowers.

The chipboard has been covered with black ink

Baby Boy with Echo Park It's a Boy by Fiona Johnstone

Hi everyone
Another layout featuring my adorable great nephew using Echo Park It's a Boy:
Baby Boy

Went with a focus on the greens for this page to match my top with some yellow highlights. I layered up some torn papers and added my two small 3x4 photos, adding a few sploshes of ink to the white cardstock background and a black penned frame. 
Lots of fussy cutting on this layout - the lion, the bear and the Welcome banner. These were all cut out of the 4x4 Journaling Cards paper and make the cutest embellishements!! 

and the lion I added some foam tape to the make him pop a little then added some cute journaling sentiments underneath

I finished off my page with a sweet and simple title - Baby Boy by 2Crafty, inked in navy:
