The Quiet Observer 49 & Market The Quiet Observer Kellie Moore

Hello Friends!
It's Kel back today sharing a page with the new collection from 49 & Market called The Quiet Observer. It's a very pastel colour palette with sweet nature icons, I especially love the floral laser cuts.I have 2 photos of my sweet dog peeking into my craft room.. have a look.

I started my page with one of the patterned papers, ripping some off the top and bottom then layering one of the solids papers behind it to create some texture to my page.
For the photo on the right I have used one of the laser cuts to frame my photo, then added some of the laser florals to the left of it where there was dead space on the left photo.

The 'Quiet Observer' rub on was perfect for the photos of my cheeky boy.

Behind my photos I have layered two of the film strip laser cuts, backed them with paper, then added some rub ons and laser cuts... I then added a circle with a brown pen to my background to 'rein in' my design.
My finishing touches were some gauze and ink splatters!

It's Time to Bloom with Uniquely Creative Delightful Curiosities by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I have this months Uniquely Creative range, Delighted Curiosities to showcase to you. 
It's Time to Bloom

With its blues and greens this collection is prefect for your outdoors photos, especially this one of my eldest daughter in her blue/green dress. I chose the background woodgrain to match the palm tree in the background and then the floral green paper to match the print in her dress. 

I've matched up these with some cute embellishments from the creative cuts pack - love the little frame which I have used as a base for my mounted flower cluster. I've added some extra flower stems and a super cute butterfly. 
Then it was some fussy cutting from the Curiosity Cabinet paper - the scallop border and the beauty circle.  

I completed my layout with this lovely 2Crafty chipboard title - It's time to Bloom.

Like Totally Awesome with Simple Stories Totally 80s collection by Fiona Siegel

Back with another 80s share from our retreat this year using Simple Stories Totally 80s collection:
Like Totally Awesome!

Some group photos this time from retreat. I have used the fun flouro shapes on black as my background then added some pops of fluoro pink and teal along the sides of my layout design, from the Simple Stories Color Me Happy collection. I have fussy cut the scallops from the Right Now paper and added them to either side. 

I have used the fun embellishments from the stickers set as well as some fun shapes from the Page Pieces set, giving matching embellishments to each photo, with a main cluster of some retro items - TV, Boom box and Cassette tape. 

I added a fussy cut cassette tape as well and added some 80s words to my design before adding my fab title Like Totally Awesome using the Page Pieces.

Together Simple Stories Simple Vintage Timeless Harmony Kellie Moore

Hey Everyone!

Its Kel on the blog today sharing a page using the Simple Stories Timeless Harmony collection.
It is so beautiful and elegant with the green, cream and black tones paired with the icons of florals and butterflies. This range could be used for wedding photos but also has versatility to be used to scrapbook about love, anniversaries, family photos etc.

My photo is of my youngest son when he was a page boy at his Uncles wedding a few years ago.

I started with a plain paper from the Simple Basics pack that you can get with this collection. They make great base pages but can also be great for matting photos. I offset this paper with one of the busier patterned papers to add some interest.  

I have used lots of the different embellishments to add clusters around my photo including chipboard, foam, stickers.

I have also added some 2Crafty Tiny Film Strips to four spots on my page.

The 'Together' piece is from the chipboard set.

Back to the 80s with Simple Stories Totally 80s Collection by Fiona Siegel

Todays layout features a fun and funky 80s theme using Simple Stories Totally 80s collection:
Back to the 80s

Back in May I went to a scrapbooking retreat with some scrapping friends and the theme was 80s! Lots of fun ! This new Simple Stories collection was perfect to document it. I love the bright and retro colours.  I've matted my white cardstock in a hot pink paper from Simple Stories Color Me Happy and Bella Blvd Gingham and Stripes paper. 

Is it even an 80s collection if there is no rollerskate? Super cute stickers are a part of this range - not just skates but some retro and neon shapes as well as some well known 80s phrases.

I've used some cute puffy stickers from an older VB collection to add some dimension. I finished off with a shipping tag fussy cut from the paper with Back to the 80s - then added some hot pink twine to finish it off as my title.
