SX360 with Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Taking a break from the CVS layouts to share this one using Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush collection:

SX360

This bright, fun collection is absolutely perfect for my theme park photos! I've used the Make your Mark paper as inspiration for my mixed media background - I've used Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citrone, Kitsch Flamingo and Tumbled Glass with some Kaisercraft stencils - Bubbles & Snowy and a cross stamp.

Once I had my background done I layered up some papers and added some ephemera layers and flowers to my page and finished off with some journaling word stickers.

My title is the name of the ride - SX360 and I have used the Simple Stories Colour Vibe Foam Thicker Stickers for this, they come in lots of fun mix and match colours!

Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Life is Short using Bella Blvd Time to Travel by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
The page I am sharing today has been created with
Bella Blvd Time to Travel collection.

July school holiday 2013.
Our trip down to the Limestone Coast
to visit the different caves and towns.
This photo was taken in Naracoorte.

The base is my favourite 12x12
The cardstock has been kept clean
to allow the bright colours in this
collection to shine.

The top of the page is a combination
of In The Clouds paper and stickers.
I have torn the bottom edge of the paper
and hand cut some of the clouds
to add some dimension to page.

The border piece and circle are

The Love between a Mother & Daughter is Forever with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Storyteller by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Still more layouts using the stunning Storyteller collection for Cocoa Vanilla Studio. This one is a selfie of me and my mum on her recent birthday:

The Love between a Mother and Daughter is Forever

For this page the title was the inspiration so I wanted my design to sit alongside it. I've torn a few different pattern papers to frame around my photo and then added paper strips to the top and bottom of the page - I wanted a little extra red on mine so have used a paper from Echo Park Salutations No. 2 to my Cocoa Vanilla Papers

Once the papers were done I've added a smattering of ephemera around the photo and to the top left paper strips before adding the cutest wood epoxy button and some journaling stickers.

I decided to add some stenciling behind the title, just a light smattering of hearts in Distress Oxide Saltwater Taffy and a few sploshes of Mustard Seed. The title was inked in Versa Color Mini Ink in Smoke Blue.

Amazing Journey using Echo Park Paper First Day of School by Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!
The page I'm sharing with you today
has been created with the collection,
Echo Park Paper First Day of School.

The two photos on this page capture
a very special moment of Mr H,
showing his very first day of school and
his last 'first day' of school, 12 years apart.
Where has the time gone?

The base for the page is a clean
12x12 sheet of Bazzill Kraft Cardstock.
The bright primary colours and patterns in this
collection are layered under the photos and then
the page is embellished with chipboard and ephemera.

At the top of the photo, I've used
a 2 Crafty Arrow covered with
Faded Jean Distress Paint
and added a tag with foam tape.
The tag has been outlined with a black gel pen.

The left side of the photo, I have added
covered with Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.

There is a second tag lifted with foam tape
and black alpha stickers from my stash
to create a sub-title along the photo edge.

At the bottom of the page,
the smaller photo has been framed
It has been covered with patterned paper
and decorated with the hand cut elements,
apples and school bag from the patterned papers.
The embellishment pieces are

The Journal spot is a frame piece
from the Frames & Tags pack that
has been backed with white cardstock.
I've used a black gel pen to create
a border around the cardstock piece
and added another embellishment
with more hand-cut elements.

The dates on both photos have
been created with black stickers.

The title for the page has been created
with two 2 Crafty chipboard pieces.
The chipboard has been covered with black ink
and added to the bottom right corner of the page.
I've used a third 2 Crafty Arrow
to highlight the title.

Thank you for dropping by the blog today,
I hope you have enjoyed the page.

Beauty with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Storyteller by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today I am back with another layout created with the stunning Storyteller collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Beauty

I love a woodgrain background and this one is no exception. I have teamed it up with several strips of patterned paper in a block pattern before adding some paper behind my photo.

Next was to hit the embellishments and I have made a very large cluster to the right of my photo using a mix of the two ephemera packs - diecut ephemera and floral ephemera as well as the accessory sticker sheet.

A smaller cluster to the top of my page includes my favourite Wood Epoxy Buttons
They add the perfect touch to the page

And I finished with a simple title - 2Crafty chipboard Beauty which I have inked to match the red in the papers.

Cheeky using Celebr8 #YOLO by Kerryn Fry

Morning all!
I'm back today to share my final page with
the cool collection, Celebr8 #YOLO.
This paper pack has been so versatile to craft with,
a great mix of colours to use for any subject.
The B&W photos on today's page
were taken a few years ago, one of my beautiful nieces,
being super cute and very cheeky in her jumper.

I've used the reverse side of the beige
chevron paper for the base of the page.
I love the small details of flowers & scribbles
in the corners of the paper.

The top left corner has been
embellished with a hand cut element.
I cut banners in each end
and used foam tape to lift the word.

The cut-apart cardstock sheet was used
to add layers under the photos
and the floral paper has been used
as the main pattern on the page.

The speech bubbles have been hand cut
and raised with foam tape to embellish
the top corner of the photo.

The large bracket on the right side
of the photo was cut from the
Bonus Fussy cut sheet.

to add some sparkle to the bracket
and flower centres on the page.

been coloured with Distress Paint
and added to the flower clusters.

The hand cut star elements have been
clustered to the right side of the photos
to extend the embellishments down
along the bracket.

The large 'Just Chillin' banner has been
cut from the Bonus Fussy Cut Sheet
and added to the base of the photos.

To the left of photos, I have created
a second embellishment cluster
with hand cut flowers, camera and quote.

covered with white ink first
and then finished with

The Glitter glue was used to add
a little sparkle to all of the flower centres
in the patterned paper and hand cut flowers.

So much fun creating this page,
I hope you have enjoyed the steps.
Thank you for dropping by blog today,
have a fabulous weekend and may
there be plenty of crafting.

Just be your Own Unique Beautiful Self with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Storyteller by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

I got to play with the new Cocoa Vanilla Studio Storyteller collection at retreat last month so have a lot of layouts to share over the coming weeks. Love this collection so much, absolute favourite.

First up,

Just be your own Unique Beautiful Self

I chose the pretty Ditsy Daisy print paper for my main paper and then added some extra blues to match Lilys outfit. I've picked a white cardstock background then added some subtle stenciling using a Paige Taylor Evans stencil and the new Distress Oxide Ink in Prize Ribbon and added a little stamping with my favourite tiny dots stamp

Next I hit the ephemera packs - both the floral & die cut packs to create 2 floral clusters and a smaller cluster featuring the cute camera as well as stickers from the accessory sheet before adding my favourite finishing touch embellishments - the wood epoxy buttons.

Love this super cute title I have finished my layout off with, it is from Celebr8 Matt Board. I've inked it yellow using Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed.

Treasure using Celebr8 #YOLO by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing my second page
that has created with the collection
Celebr8 #YOLO
Another photo from the archives,
Mr H as a one year old, hanging
at his friend's first birthday party.

A more masculine page this week
using the blue and cream papers.

I have used one of the patterned papers
in the pack as the base of the page.
The paper pieces used under the photo
have been cut from the cardstock sheet.

The black circle frame has been drawn
with a pen & compass and then hand cut
from a piece of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.
I've used the circle frame to balance
the touches of black in the papers
and colour of the polaroid frame

used to create a journal spot for the page.
It has been covered with black ink
and backed with a  piece of
patterned paper from the pack.

The banner and small arrows are all
hand cut elements from the papers.
I've used foam tape to lift the elements
to create dimension and texture on the page.

The large camera, hearts and words
have all been hand cut from the papers.
All elements have been lifted with foam tape

The larger tabs on either side of the photo
have been cut from the Bonus Fussy Cut Sheet.
This pack is filled with elements
to hand cut and use to embellish the page.

The title of the page 'Treasure' is
It has been covered with Black
ink and added to the side of the photo.

The final touches of the page are some string
for the tag and some black gesso,
watered down and flicked onto the background.
