Strawberry Delights with Doodlebug Berry Sweet by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
A fun one today with Doodlebug Sweet Berry Collection, documenting some of the strawberry foods I had over in Japan!
Strawberry Delights

For this layout I started with my papers that featured strawberries, then picked some to coordinate and grabbed the sticker sheet too! I went with a white background and added some pink hearts - to show my love of all things strawberry. A light stenciling and a few sploshes before layering up the papers. 

After the papers I have used a bunch of the cardstock stickers to embellish, adding some Green Tara flowers too. Love how cute the Doodlebug phrases and embellishments are!

Then I added a title, using a lovely bright green to pop off the page and a lighter pink to compliment the layout.

Happy 2025!
 I am back from a short break with my first layout for 2025, featuring Echo Park Little Builder:
This is My Happy Face!

For this layout I knew the title I wanted for this page, so I started with my paper design using Echo Park Little builder papers and then added the 3x4 journaling piece. Next I have cut one of the other 3x4 pieces into single journaling strips to add some more context to the title as it doesn't quite match my photo! 
A cute VB chipboard star with a flair button from my stash over the top. 

I've used a black pen to outline the journaling piece and my white cardstock. Next I have embellished with lots of stars - I have used Vicki Boutin Chipboard Stars along with some cute button stars from my stash and the Doodlebug enamel stars. Some journaling stickers over a chipboard tab finished off with an enamel star. 

My title: This is my Happy Face I have inked in Distress Oxide inks - Tumbled Glass to match the lighter blue paper.

Hello everyone
Continuing with the Christmas inspiration for this month, I have used more Bella Blvd Merry Mingle and the Doodlebug Tinsel Time die-cuts to create:
The Best Reindeer

Love this photo of my pooch Harry in his antlers and festive bow tie in front of the Christmas Tree last year - the antlers don't stay on long!! 
I've used some of the bright and fun papers from the Bella Blvd Merry and Bright collection in my design, taking my colour inspiration from the Christmas tree and pop of black for Harrys features. I've again used a pink doily to tie in with my page. 

Next some of the super cute Doodlebug Tinsel Time embellishments - these are just so perfect and I have created a little scene with a tree, sleigh and reindeer. Next some alphas - the gold CVS Deck the Halls Puffy Gold Stickers are so beautiful and really pop on the black! I have then used single alphas to add "Reindeer" in a pretty red glitter from my stash.

Calling Santa with Doodlebug Tinsel Time and Bella Blvd Merry Mingle by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Another Christmas layout to share today using Doodlebug Tinsel Time and Bella Blvd Merry Mingle
Calling Santa

I've used a mix of papers from both collections - they are quite similar in colours and go well together! Then to embellish I have used the Doodlebug Tinsel Time Odds and Ends Die-cuts - there are so many diecuts in this pack they are great value!
I found a cute doily in my stash that teamed up perfectly with both the paper and my very pink photo from The Grounds Sugarplum themed alleyway. To this I have added some die-cuts. 

I've used the die cuts to make a cute little string of lights, alternating having them on foam tape and flat on the page for some dimesion and then adding some twine to keep them together

To the other side of my page I have added some more cute die-cuts and then added my title using some old stickers from my stash and then some Bella Blvd Puffy Stickers .

Halloween Night withDoodlebug Hey Pumpkinby Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back with another Spooky Halloween layout this time using the cute Doodlebug
 Hey Pumpkin Collection:
Halloween Night

Super cute paper with some not so scary looking Halloween figures! I've teamed this up with some 2Crafty Halloween pieces. 
Firstly I created a unique background using some of the stringy "spider web" stuff you get anywhere that has Halloween decor - I stretched it out over my page then taped the back. 
Next I layered up some pattern papers including these cute tags

and then I added some 2Crafty Chipboard - the cat inked in black then some glitter so he stands out a bit!

Another pumpkin - he is inked in a simple orange to match the paper, then finishing with my title Halloween Night. I have inked this piece in a light purple before adding some detail on the the shoes and socks with sharpie pens.

You've Got This! with Doodlebug Fun at the Park by Fiona Johnstone

This week I have a special page created using the Doodlebug Fun at the Park collection
for this page of my Dad battling cancer. (He is now in remission). 
You've Got This!

The primary colours and stars were perfect for this page! My starting point was actually the cut-file, as soon as I saw it I knew it was the perfect frame for Dads new photo. The colours had to match the St George Dragons footy jersey of course!

Once I had the design, I backed my cut-file with the papers from the Fun at the Park collection. Next decision was to have a white or black background - the colours popped a lot more on the black so I used my mask and some paint to create a burst pattern under where my cut-file would go using the Uniquely Creative Linear Ray Stencil. 

I added some xoxo's from my stash and finished with the perfect title - You've Got This! Lastly a couple of the cute enamel stars from the Doodlebug collection.

Chill with Photoplay Monterey Bay & Echo Park All Boy by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
I have another layout to share using Photoplays Monterey Bay and Echo Park All Boy collections. The colours in these two collections really compliment each other.

When I saw the cute little beach house paper I knew it would be perfect for this photo I had of the girls relaxing on the giant Beach chairs at Dreamworld after a busy day! So I decided to do a big strip of the beach house paper , then fussy cut one to mount as an added embellishment. 

I teamed the paper with colours from the beach houses - dark and light blues and red.  Kraft is always the perfect cardstock for a beachy background.  I added a little banner from the paper to add a little interest to the top left corner of my page before adding my embellishment clusters

My title is an older Thicker words set - Chill sums it up pretty well!

A cute litte tag from some Christmas paper, a flair and some enamel dots to finish off the simple embellishments.

Adventure, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone! Some fun and bright travel papers - are versatile for any photos - including out and  about photos like these!  I used the Doodlebug I heart travel collection for today's page.  

I started with white cardstock - for the base and to mount the photos.

The blue Picture This paper and the red Love this paper were the next layers.

I added a panel of the reverse of the Love this paper  and then finished with stickers to embellish.

The final step was white pen doodling and white ink splatters.

In these close ups, you can see some of the awesome sticker I sued. They are from the

 12x12 This and that sticker sheet. Using some foam tape, I layered them up on their clusters.

Here is another travel page to share today.

 This one features the new travel collection from Doodlebug Designs: I Heart Travel.

I combined this collection with a watery mixed media background.

To create the mixed media background, I first painted the entire white cardstock with white gesso - this seals the page so the colours sit on top and can be moved around, rather than soak in quickly. I sprinkled some Colour Blast Shimmer Dusts In Peacock, Paris and Duke, and added water. I used the heat gun to dry it and more water to spread the colour where I wanted on the page.

I used strips of the Doodlebug Papers: Love this; Picture this at the top and bottom of the page and to mount the photo.

I embellished the page with stickers...  Picture Perfect: Sprinkle stickers and 12x12 This and that Sticker Sheet.

A longer sticker along the bottom of the photo, and smaller ones in clusters.

You can also see the water colour background in these close ups.

I continued more stickers at the top and bottoms of the page as well!

What a fun and bright range!

Hi AAS fans!

Some paper purchases are so spontaneous... I loved the bright colours and adorable designs of the Doodlebug Designs French Kiss collection - I bought the papers with NO idea what to scrapbook with them! Then I found this photo of the kids, and with plenty of pink and blue and loads of love, it seemed perfect!

I started with the blue background paper -Just Rosey - because blue is always my go to colour in a range!

I cut two triangles for two corners, using the super fun French Café paper - oh those hearts!

The photo was mounted on various papers, and behind it is the City of Love paper.

I used lots of stickers to finish, as you can see in the close ups. I put them in a diagonal design and included longer stickers across the page under the photo.

I used stickers from the This & That Cardstock Stickers sheet and the Icons Cardstock Stickers sheet.

How cute is that pink poodle? Almost as cute as these kids!
