You've Got This! with Doodlebug Fun at the Park by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have a special page created using the Doodlebug Fun at the Park collection
for this page of my Dad battling cancer. (He is now in remission). 
You've Got This!

The primary colours and stars were perfect for this page! My starting point was actually the cut-file, as soon as I saw it I knew it was the perfect frame for Dads new photo. The colours had to match the St George Dragons footy jersey of course!

Once I had the design, I backed my cut-file with the papers from the Fun at the Park collection. Next decision was to have a white or black background - the colours popped a lot more on the black so I used my mask and some paint to create a burst pattern under where my cut-file would go using the Uniquely Creative Linear Ray Stencil. 

I added some xoxo's from my stash and finished with the perfect title - You've Got This! Lastly a couple of the cute enamel stars from the Doodlebug collection.

I have a fun range to create with this week - Simple Stories Family Fun collection, perfect for documenting those fun times and the bold primary colours in this collection are just fabulous!

I have started this page off with a super cute cut file of popcorn - and backed it with the most perfect paper - Movie Night - red and white strips on one side and popcorn on the other!!

I've used a photo from my phone that is slightly shorter than your standard photo size at (7cm x 15cm instead of 10cm x 15cm) which has allowed me to use one of the 4x6 Elements pieces to mat my photo giving it a cute dotted border. Next I have added another paper layer behind and some strips to the top of my Kraft background. 

Embellishing my page was simple with the cut file being the focal part of my page. I have cut some extra Admit One tickets from the Let's Play paper and used some movie themed embellishments from the ephemera pack, before adding a selection of stars from my stash.

This is Adulting with Pinkfresh Studio Keeping it Real by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Another share today with Pinkfresh Studio, Keeping it Real collection. Such gorgeous colours in this collection and when I saw this cute cut file, I knew they would go perfect together. 
This is Adulting

First up I wanted to use the Tiny Victories paper for the main paper to matte my photos and then chose to make it the centre of my stacked tea-cups. It teams up nicely with the A Little Chaos paper. Then I have added complimentary colours along the cut file and added some enamel dots to the flower centres. 

Love the perfect embellishments from this collection, perfect for scrapping both the good and bad - check them here. 

Perfect floral ephemera in the collection - a whole pack of just flowers, love it!! The puffy stickers are perfect for the titles and also have a few little embellishment bits that add that little bit of dimension needed.

Living the Dream with Pinkfresh Studio Keeping it Real by Fiona Johnstone

This week I have created a page using Pinkfresh Studio Keeping it Real paper.
I love the pink and greens in this collection. It is so pretty! 
Living the Dream

For this page I started with the gorgeous colours in the Tiny Victories paper - love the colours together and I co-ordinated it with the complimentary teal. 
Next I decided to colour my own cutfile for the background using Distress Oxide Inks to give me the colours I wanted for my page. It makes the cutfile pop on the white. 

I've used the beautiful floral ephemera pack to embellish my page - love how many flowers you get in this set!

I've also used the sticker sheet and the beautiful puffy stickers for my title and as a cute heart emebllishment. I finished the page off with some subtle splatters with the oxide inks.
