Stay True with Celebr8 #YOLO by Fiona Johnstone
Love the sweet flowers in this collection and chose the background paper with this in mind. Next step to add some paper layers behind my photo and a larger piece in the floral. Then I went and fussy cut the flowers, some phrases, tabs and circles to layer up on my page.

Official Rain Taster with Echo Park All About a Girl

Magic using Carta Bella Believe In Magic by Kerryn Fry
A very simple page this week.
The base is a plain 12x12 sheet
The layers of patterned paper
and hand cut embellishments
have tied the page together.
The clouds have been hand cut
from Beyond The Clouds paper
and added to the page with foam tape.
I've outlined each cloud with
a faux stich border created
with a black gel pen.
The small stars are from
they have been lifted with foam
tape to create more dimension.
The circles have been punched out
from the Firework Show paper
and placed around the page
with foam tape.
The two main 6x4 photos have been
backed with Bazzill Raven Cardstock
to define them amongst the colours and patterns.
The lighting in the third photo
was different to the other two.
It was taken in full sun and shows her full outfit.
I decided to make it a feature of the page,
I have cut out the silhouette of my Great-Niece
and added her to the page with foam tape.

Happy Life using Photo Play Our Friendship Thru the Years by Kerryn Fry
I has so much fun with the mixed media
effect last week that I decided to play again.
Starting with the awesome Foundations Paper
from Vicki Boutin, seriously perfect for wet mediums.
I took inspiration from my favourite patterned paper
in this collection, the wood panel So Lucky paper.
The background effect started with
Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink
applied with the packaging technique.
Once it was dry and I was happy with the depth of colour,
I have added a layering of dot stencilling with the same ink.
Before moving to the next layer of colour,
I have added some big drops of the same ink
watered down to drip on the paper.
The next layer of colour is
Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink and
I have added random stencilling to the
outer edge of the Evergreen Bough layer.
The next layer is using white gesso
layering over the other colours to appear
just beyond the paper layers.
I have fussy cut all of the flower clusters
from the patterned paper Together.
These flowers have been used to create
embellishment cluster on the page.
To the right of the photo I have added the flowers
with foam tape and also added a star
and butterfly from the Element Sticker Sheet
The embellishment cluster to the left
of the photo is a combination of
hand-cut flowers from both sides of the Together paper
and also the Documented paper.
I've used foam tape to lift the flowers.
There are also multiple stickers from
the Element Sticker Sheet, the camera,
small flowers and hearts.
The words have been hand cut
from to So Lucky paper
and raised again with foam tape.
The smaller cluster at the bottom of the page
is also a mixture of hand cut flowers and stickers.
The word Priceless has been cut from the
Documented paper and backed with black cardstock
for definition against the white flowers.
The 2 Crafty Chevron Bits
have been covered with black ink
and helps to frame the cluster and title.
The simple title is a 2 Crafty Mini Title Stick
I have swiped the stick it with black ink
to keep the words neutral and clear.
I have lifted the title with foam tape.
To finish the page, I have outlined the main
piece of So Lucky paper with a black pen
and then added flicks and splashes of
watered down black gesso.

Determined to Succeed using Uniquely Creative Choose Your Own Adventure by Kerryn Fry
The base paper is a very clean sheet
of Bazzill Kraft Cardstock., shocking I know!
I have matted the B&W photos
and lifted each photo on the page with foam tape.
I've layered the patterned papers
under the photos and highlighted certain
paper layers with a fake stitch border.
Love the rough circles on the patterned paper
and have hand cut some of the circle
embellishments to bring it altogether.
All of the embellishments have
been hand cut from the papers
and The Story Layer Cuts.
I have lifted most of the elements
with foam tape to create layers across the page.
have been covered with black ink
and placed on both sides of the photos
to give the page some movement.
The title has been created with bare
American Craft Thickers alphas.
They have been covered with black ink.
I have split the title into 2 parts
and used it to frame the photos.
The sub-title is some random
alpha stickers from my stash.
Thank you for visiting the blog today.
I hope my sporty page has inspired you to create.
Enjoy your weekend
and have fun crafting.

Love Love Love using Echo Park Pool Party by Kerryn Fry
I had a little fun playing with mixed media this week.
The page started with the amazing product
The first layer is with a Vicki Boutin stencil
The next layers have been created with
Distress Oxide Inks and plastic packaging.
Using the colours Pickled Raspberry, Worn Lipstick,
Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed.
Once the background had dried, I have stamped
with the same Distress Oxide colours, white
and gold ink using two different stamps.
I have layered the patterned papers and
then embellished with the Ephemera pieces.
I've used foam tape to lift the Ephemera Pieces
and created clusters around the photo.
The black faux stitch line has been hand drawn
around the strips of patterned paper
and framed the photo using a black gel pen.
The Ephemera frame has been backed with white cardstock
to create a journal spot for the page.
I've outlined the journal spot with the black pen as well.
The 2 Crafty Hibiscus have been covered
with Distress Paints Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick.
They have been outlined with a white pen, once the paint had dried.
The 2 Crafty Lattice Leaves were covered
with Evergreen Bough Distress Paint
and then tucked under the hibiscus.
I've hand cut leaves from the patterned papers
and added with foam tape to the clusters.
was a left over piece from another page.
I've covered it with gold ink and then cut it in half.
It's been added to the top and bottom
of the page with some patterned paper.
The 2 Crafty Love Floral Cluster has been
hand painted with Distress Paints.
Once the paint has dried.
I have added some glitter glue to the words.
Thanks for visiting the blog today,
hopefully you have been inspired in some way.
Enjoy your weekend, have fun creating
and join us again on Monday.
