Today with 49&Market Spectrum Gardenia by Fiona Johnstone

Fitting timing for this layout of Floriade in Canberra last year as I have just come back from a quick visit to Floriade again! I've used the stunning 49&Market Spectrum Gardenia collection for this layout:

Today

I love the rainbow of colours here in this background paper, so perfect for my Tulip pictures! I have mainly red in the photos, so have also used a strip of the red based paper along the bottom. 
For my embellishments I have used the ephemera bits and laser cut out butterflies to co-ordinate with the rainbow theme of the base paper - with a little black added in for balance!

Continuing the colour theme with the colour wheel tying in the colours, and having at least one butterfly to match each section - Red, Pink, Orange, Green, Blue and Purple. 

How perfect is the tulips ephemera piece for my page? I have finished off with the red tile Today from the ephemera pack and some cute Bubbles & Baubles

All Smiles with Echo Park Our Baby by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I am sharing a layout with Echo Park Our Baby Collection:
All Smiles

I've used similar colours to the patterned paper to create this background using a Vicki Boutin Stencil and some Distress Oxide Inks, I love the effect of the multi-colours - then added a few little splashes as well. I've used Rusty Hinge, Rustic Wilderness and Wild Honey. 

Next team up some paper layers for my photo set - a cute little photo strip of this smiley boy before adding some embellishments from the Echo Park chipboard and some older Simple Stories Stickers(Boho Baby). I've then added some cut film strips underneath my paper layers to follow the design of my photo strip. 

A 2Crafty chipboard title, perfect for this smiley child! I've inked it in Distress Oxide Rusty Hinge, same ink I used on the background.

Explore Nature with 49&Market Nature Study by Fiona Johnstone

Another layout with the stunning Nature Study collection by 49&Market - I really love how perfect this collection is for all outdoorsy photos. I've used it to document a bush walk this week:

I've used a photo app to make a square photo with a few pics for an easy multi photo layout as I can scrap it as one photo! 
I've added some ephemera around my photo to frame it, cutting it to size and adding extra ephemera bits to cover any gaps. Then I've added a mix of ephemera and the Mushroom and Foliage pieces to my around my photos. 

Love the little sub quotes on the wood rounds, too cute! And of course butterflies! 

and my favourite item - these super cute postage stamps! Aren't they awesome? I have used them along the top right and bottom left sides of my layout - and have also added a few hidden under some layers. Super cute and add a fun little detail. 

Finally my title using a large chipboard title Explore from the Chipboard word set with a mini word "Nature" underneath

Go Girl with Simple Stories Retro Summer by Fiona Johnstone

Love this retro collection from Simple Stories that I'm sharing today - Retro Summer - the colours are so much fun!
Go Girl!

These papers might be summer themed but the retro vibe make them perfect for any time of the year! My great niece is wearing the cutest retro outfit so this collection was jut perfect! Love the sunburst paper and have used this as my base paper then layered up some of the co-ordinating papers to surround my photo. 

The cute chipboard pieces from the collection are the perfect touch as they add a little extra dimension to the page - love the mini title So Much Fun! And how cute are these other retro pieces?

Some cute flowers in co-ordinating pinks to finish off and some older Simple Stories thickers from the Kate and Ash range.

Good Vibes with Simple Stories Boho Sunshine by Fiona Johnstone

A new collection today - Simple Stories Good Vibes.
Love this collection such fun colours! 

Good Vibes

This collection looks awesome on Kraft cardstock, but first I needed to add a little extra to the background and used some Distress Oxide and a VB stencil to do some reverse stamping - I've applied my ink directly on to the stencil, spritzed some water and then stamped the image onto the cardstock. It creates a lovely, subtle background on which to layer my papers. 

Loving torn papers at the moment and after matting my photo and distressing the edges I have added some torn paper layers. Next I've hit the ephemera pack to add flowers and butterflies as well as going through my stash for some older Simple Stories phrases - similar can be found in their sticker books. 

My title uses the Boho Sunshine foam thickers - and includes a mix of titles and embellishments! I've used a couple of the foam flowers to add a bit of variation to my embellishments.

Wonder with 49&Market Nature Study by Fiona Johnstone

Back with another layout using 49&Market Nature Study. 

Wonder

For this layout I have focused on all the amazing butterflies in the collection - mainly the paper and the rub-ons. I've started with a plain background from the collection pack and added a strip of the butterfly paper, with a pop of green for contrast. 
Next I have used lots of rub-on butterflies and words to embellish the background paper:

Next I have kept it simple with embellishments - adding  some small word ephemera to the top right of my photo and to the bottom left a large ephemera butterfly to and tag with some twine:

before finishing with an ephemera word from the collection for my title.

Gorgeous with Prima Postcards from Paradise by Fiona Johnstone

Today I have created a layout using the absolutely stunning Prima Postcards from Paradise:

I had to use this range for a picture of my eldest as flamingoes are her favourite animal. I love the paper and based my design around the flamingo on the paper - spacing my design to either side.  The left side has my photo and I have matted it with some paper layers and the cute door from the ephemera pack. Next I have added some chipboard inked in gold underneath before adding flowers and a flamingo.

On the right hand side I have made a similar cluster minus the photo - door and chipboard with an adorable envelope, some flowers and another flamingo from the ephemera pack. I've added a subtitle beauty in gold.

Curious with 49&Market Nature Study by Fiona Johntone

Hello everyone
This week I have used the stunning Nature Study collection from 49 & Market, perfect for all those outdoorsy photos!
Curious

I'm always taking photos of mushrooms when I am out and about on bushwalks so this cute mushroom paper was perfect! I have created a photo collage of a few favourites and printed all out as one photo for my layout. I've mounted the photo with a few paper layers and ephemera and then added some strips of the mushroom paper with a darker green underneath for contrast. 

Loving the Laser Cut Outs in these ranges and have used the fabulous Mushrooms and Foliage one to add lots of mushroom embellishments around my page. I've combined it with the amazing ephemera pack - so many bit and pieces in this pack! Perfect bits for tucking and making titles! 

And of course the always amazing rub-ons 49&Market make - these are so easy to use and add fabulous detail to a page. I've used the Wings packet here - lots of butterflies! And my favourite - the cute magnifying glass ephemera - perfect to frame or highlight an embellishment like I've done with this mushroom - mounted on foam tape for as real pop!

It's the Little Things with Simple Stories It's the Little Things by Fiona Johnstone

This weeks share is with the beautiful Simple Stories Collection - The Little Things,
which is also the title for my page! 
The Little Things

For this layout I started with my design of layer up the papers with a focus on the red and greens of the range. I've used a mix of embellishments on my main cluster - from the Simple Stories sticker sheet , I've add a Pinkfresh Chipboard Flair, some Green Tara cherryblossoms and 2Crafty chipboard foliage. 

To soften up the dark colours I went with a white cardstock base and  while choosing embellishments I found these cute long floral stickers from the Sticker Book and this inspired my border. I've used the stickers on either side, some of the smaller individual flowers for the corners and some stamping stitches across the top and bottom. 

Further clusters with a shipping tag from the Tag elements paper with some red twine and some cute stickers from the book. Love the little word stickers to add some journaling to the layout and for my title.

Traveling Together with 49&Market Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another 49&Market layout with the amazing Everywhere Collection.
 Still have lots of paper and embellishments even though I have created so many layouts. Great value!

Traveling Together

For this layout I have focused on the blues and pinks again, perfect match to our outfits and the view of Lake George. 

I've started with one of the base papers from the Collection pack and backed it with the darker blue from the Essentials pack before adding some torn papers around my photo. 

Next I have fussy cut some of the elements from the cover sheet of the Collection Pack and teamed them up with some chipboard and ephemera from the collection to make my clusters:

I've backed the geotag with some patterned paper - matching up the postage stamp print from the collection pack. Next I have used some rub-ons to add some extra detail to the background paper. The gorgeous bubbles and baubles add the perfect finishing touch.

and finishing off with a large rub-on for my title - perfect and so easy to apply!
