Like Totally Awesome with Simple Stories Totally 80s collection by Fiona Siegel

Back with another 80s share from our retreat this year using Simple Stories Totally 80s collection:
Like Totally Awesome!

Some group photos this time from retreat. I have used the fun flouro shapes on black as my background then added some pops of fluoro pink and teal along the sides of my layout design, from the Simple Stories Color Me Happy collection. I have fussy cut the scallops from the Right Now paper and added them to either side. 

I have used the fun embellishments from the stickers set as well as some fun shapes from the Page Pieces set, giving matching embellishments to each photo, with a main cluster of some retro items - TV, Boom box and Cassette tape. 

I added a fussy cut cassette tape as well and added some 80s words to my design before adding my fab title Like Totally Awesome using the Page Pieces.

Back to the 80s with Simple Stories Totally 80s Collection by Fiona Siegel

Todays layout features a fun and funky 80s theme using Simple Stories Totally 80s collection:
Back to the 80s

Back in May I went to a scrapbooking retreat with some scrapping friends and the theme was 80s! Lots of fun ! This new Simple Stories collection was perfect to document it. I love the bright and retro colours.  I've matted my white cardstock in a hot pink paper from Simple Stories Color Me Happy and Bella Blvd Gingham and Stripes paper. 

Is it even an 80s collection if there is no rollerskate? Super cute stickers are a part of this range - not just skates but some retro and neon shapes as well as some well known 80s phrases.

I've used some cute puffy stickers from an older VB collection to add some dimension. I finished off with a shipping tag fussy cut from the paper with Back to the 80s - then added some hot pink twine to finish it off as my title.

Life's Good with Simple Stories Rustic Legend by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This weeks layout is created with Simple Stories Rustic Legend and some fab 2Crafty chipboard:
Life's Good 

For this layout I have added some background stars and numbers in grey and black to add some detail to the plain ledger paper I've chosen for my background. I have added some colour with the 2Crafty Chipboard Grid Panel in dark teal. I have cut this in to separate pieces to add to each side of my layout. 

I've repeated the patten with masking and chipboard on this side of the layout too. Then I set about adding paper layers in a vertical design, and a film strip from 49 and Market.  I have then fussy cut the tape from the elements paper and a tag from the Tag Elements sheet and added some ephemera from the Page Pieces set. 

I've then added 2Crafty Chipboard Life's Good as a title, inked in a grey blue then some glossy accents over the top for some dimension.

Queen of Selfieswith Arden Creative Been Thereby Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I have kind of a fun one, my Mum sent me this photo she took of me
 taking a selfie while at a lookout in New Zealand.
 I have created the page using the travel collection Been There by Arden Creative:

I've used the paper pack papers for my base and layers, adding some torn
edges for texture before adding a 49 and Market film strip alongside the edge
 and a tag from the Simple Stories Rustic Legend papers, with a twine bow. 

The great thing about these newer Arden Creative Kits is that they come with some fab diecuts sheets at the back of the paper pad making it easy to
 embellish your page.
  I've used one of the mine titles here - Selfie Stop. I also wanted to add
 some flower so found an old Cocoa Vanilla paper and fussy cut some flowers
 to match my paper. 

The tab and compass are both from the paper pack and then I have added another fussy cut flower before finishing off my page with the perfect title
 for this photo - Queen of Selfies!

18using Simple Stories Rustic Legendby Fiona Siegel

This week I've got a rare "boy" page to share, using Simple Stories Rustic Legend to document my nephews 18th Birthday:

I love the woodgrain background paper and this already has stars stamped on to it, so I continued that theme when embellishing. But first I wanted to grunge it up a little bit, so I tore my paper edges and used a black cardstock background. Then I added a torn piece of the check paper before adding some other paper strips which I grunged up a little too

I stuck with the stars to embellish my page and there were plenty to be found on the Icon Sticker Sheet. I made clusters for both the top left and bottom right corners of the layout. Next I added this large camera and the journaling freeze the moment. I added a shipping tag and then finished with some woodgrain alphas to make my title 18.

Big Smiles with Simple Stories Pink Lemonade by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This weeks layout created with Simple Stories Pink Lemonade:
Big Smiles

I had almost a full sheet of the Tag Elements paper, scraps of the rest of the patterned paper but still a few stickers from the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker sheet left in this collection so decided to use the tags as a feature!
A large strip of the super cute Strawberry paper then some strips of co-ordinating papers along the right hand side. I matted my photo with the green Simple Joys paper then fussy cut all my tags from the Tag Elements sheet and lay them along the edge of my page - I added some twine to a couple, left some plain and then added a large twine bow to the centre one. 

Next I hit up the 12 x 12 Cardstock sticker sheet to embellish my page with a mix of flowers and few little quotes and hearts. I used the scalloped border sticker along the side of my page opposite the tags. 

I also used the sticker sheet for my title - Big Smiles to finish off my page.

You Shine with Simple Stories Pink Lemonade and Uniquely Creative by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This weeks layout is created using the most beautiful butterfly die-cut by Uniquely Creative and teamed up with the stunning Simple Stories Pink Lemonade Collection:
You Shine

The butterfly of course is the highlight of my page. I traced the inside the butterfly to cut out alll my paper pieces before gluing them down. I matted some white cardstock on to the patterned red check paper then added some sploshes with yellow ink to my background for a subtle effect. 

 Next I matted my photo in a thin edge and then added some floral to the right hand side so as not to detract from the butterfly. I also added a small tag to the right hand side. 

I've embellished my layout with stickers from the 12x12 Icon sticker sheet in the Pink Lemonade collection and finished off with my 2Crafty title You Shine in green to match the patterned papers.

Back this week with another layout created using Simple Stories Game Night collection:
Game On!

I love the bright colours in this collection and decided to use black cardstock for a change - love how the colours pop on this! I chose a full strip of paper to go across the page and then some black and white check. I matted my photo with some red to tie in with my photo. 

Next I have used the tags from the tag elements sheet to embellish and also as a small subheading. I added some twine to complete them. Next some simple embellishments with the Page Pieces set and some fussy cut tags under my photo. I've not used the page pieces previously but have to say they are pretty awesome and I especially love the giant title!

This weeks layout is created with the very pretty Simple Stories Pink Lemonade Collection. 

The Best Days

I've used a mix of the patterned papers and put it in to layered strips across the page before adding my photos and then embellishing with the12x12 Cardstock Sticker Sheets. 

Next I've used a cute doily behind the sweet happy days sticker quote, then added some Green Tara flowers

I've used a tag from the Tag Elements sheet and added some twine to tuck under my photo before using the sticker sheet for my title The Best and adding some word stickers for days. I've finished my page off with a few enamels dots to match the collection.

Hello everyone
A fun one this week using Simple Stories Game Night collection, documenting
 my favourite game to play with my sister:
THAT'S how we ROLL

The dice paper obviously perfect for this memory and I have added some extra papers for some added colour and a fun addition of a scorepad sheet from the game itself. 

To embellish I have used the large icon pieces from Page Pieces set as well as a shipping tag from the elements papers, a pencil and paper clip from an Vicki Boutin Print shop and a random heart. 
My title I used a mix of thicker stickers on strips of paper to make them stand out and then some dice mounted with foam .

This week I've been creating with the pretty Simple Stories collection Take Note:
Cousins

For this layout I teamed florals up with some black, adding some paper layers down my page and adding some pinks and blues. Then I have added this striking large camera with flowers that I have fussy cut from the 4x6 elements paper to use as a focal embellishment. I added the Little momets journaling circle to the the centre of the camera with some mounting tape and separately added the Big Smiles words from the element sheet. 

I then added some complimentary flowers to the top right corner of my photo and a tab along the top. 

I've used some old thickers from my stash for my title Cousins and then added some Cocoa Vanilla Sticker journaling to finish my layout off.
