Fun using Simple Stories I am by Kerryn Fry
Hi everyone.
Today I'm sharing my final page that has been created with the gorgeous collection,
More photos of my delightful Great-Niece,
taken at the playground a few years ago
She is a great climber.
The Kraft Cardstock base has been decorated with
and two layers of inks.
I used gold ink first, but found it wasn't really visible,
so I've used Evergreen Bough Distress Ink as a shadow.
At the top of the page, I've added a few strips of patterned paper,
the other half of the frame used on a previous page and
a few pieces from the I am Journal Bits
The photos and the house stickers from the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker Sheet,
have both been given a black cardstock matt to give them clear definition.
I've raised them with some foam tape.
The flowers are from the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker Sheet,
They have been added with foam tape
and then given a little sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue.
The journal spots from the Journal Bits.
The 2 Crafty Butterfly Frame has been coloured with
Distress Paints Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry.
I have backed the frame with patterned paper
and then jazzed it up with Glitter Glue.
The stars, small words and banner are all from the 12x12 Sticker Sheet,
I've used foam tape to attach some of the elements to give them dimension.
The 2 Crafty Foliage Set 8 has been cut into smaller pieces
and covered with Peeled Paint Distress Paint.
The main paper 2x2 Elements reverse side
has been given a little sparkle with Glitter Glue as well.
The 2 Crafty title this week is very simple
and sums up the photos.
I've used the word Fun from the 6x6 Summertime sheet.
It has been covered with gold ink.
Thank you for joining us today,
hope you have a lovely weekend
and please join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.

Here's a Funny Story using Carta Bella Family Night by Kerryn Fry
Hi everyone!
I'm back today to share a page created using the fun collection,
The colours were a fantastic matched
and worked well with the photos.
Mr H at our local Christmas Carol Fair in 2010,
enjoying his treat.
This page was originally inspired by a card sketch shared by Vanessa on Facebook.
Thought I would have a little fun with it.
I've started with Bazzill Raven Cardstock.
Then I've layered two patterned paper squares,
Soda and Photo Slides
one slightly rotated and outlined with black gel pen.
The second layer has been given a little sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue.
The banner is from the 12x12 Element Sticker sheet.
I've used foam tape to attach the flags
and then added the string on top.
The speech bubbles were great to add journaling to the page
and I love how well the word stickers fitted on the page.
The photos have been given a black cardstock layer
and then a patterned paper square underneath.
The 2 Crafty Doodled Heart has been covered with Distress Paint
and backed with pattern paper.
I have used the green paper from my stash
to create the banner across the heart
and stitched it with my black gel pen.
I have altered the 2 Crafty title Here's a Funny Story
by cutting it into four individual words.
The words have been covered with Distress Paint
and then given a coat of Dimensional Magic.

Yum with Fancy Pants Cherry on Top by Fiona Johnstone
This paper is certainly suited to ice-cream photos! This is a recent one that I had to snap quickly - as you can tell it was a super hot day and it was melting fast!
For my page I'm loving the Kraft as it is close to ice-cream cone colour, I've added some pink dots that I've masked with oxide ink before adding my paper layers. I've fussy cut some scallops out of the paper to add a bit of an ice-cream store vibe and made a little banner to the top of the page.
To embellish my layout I've added a doily - again in keeping with the ice-cream store vibe, and then used the felt embellishments from the Cherry on Top collection for my title and the felt ice-cream - super cute!!
Lastly I have added a shipping tag and a flair button from my stash that co-ordinated with my page and a little quote "all you need is ice cream".
Thanks for stopping by
Till next week
Fiona

Adore using Simple Stories I am by Kerryn Fry
I've used Kraft cardstock as the base,
the neutral background works nicely with the colours in this range.
I've layered the papers under the photos,
alternating the dark and light patterns.
The Combo Sticker Sheet was used to create different clusters.
The top right corner is a few strips of patterned paper,
I've added some heart and word stickers with foam tape.
The 2 Crafty Foliage has been painted with Peeled Paint Distress Paint
and then given a rough coat with Dimensional Magic.
I've used floral stickers to build this cluster.
The embellishment cluster on the right side of the page
has been built from a 2 Crafty Tag covered with patterned paper.
I've added floral and word stickers with foam tape
and added more 2 Crafty Foliage.
The 2 Crafty Fanciful Butterflies have been coloured
with a combination Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Paint.
Once dried, I have touched the edges with Picked Raspberry Distress Paint
and stamped the butterflies with a random stamp and gold ink.
The finishing layer is Dimensional Magic.
The 2 Crafty Phrase 'Treasure this moment' was covered with gold ink
and finished with a coat Dimensional Magic as well.
I have hand cut a circle frame from black cardstock
and placed it under the photos to highlight them.
The photos have been lifted with foam tape.

Rough & Tough using Echo Park All Boy by Kerryn Fry
Starting with a Bazzill Kraft Cardstock base,
I have decorated it with Distress Ink and two stencils.
Using a Mini Ink Blending Tool,
the first layer is Black Soot Distress Ink and the Echo Park 6x6 Star Stencil.
The next layer is Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Heaps of hand-cutting on this page to add a little dimension.
The cars are from the Race Car Lanes paper
and added with foam tape.
The 12x12 Element Sticker sheet helped to embellish the page
with the clouds and words.
I have used frames from the Frames & Tags pack.
Each frame has been backed with patterned paper
and then decorated with more stickers.
The circles were hand-cut from Go See Do paper.
The title Rough & Tough is from the Frame & Tag pack.
I have added faux stitching to different elements on the page,
using a black gel pen.
The stars were also hand cut from Go See Do paper.
Lots of foam tape used to stick down different pieces,
it gives the page some depth.
