Yum with Fancy Pants Cherry on Top by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
I've got another layout to share today using the fun & summery Cherry on Top collection by Fancy pants:
Yum!

This paper is certainly suited to ice-cream photos! This is a recent one that I had to snap quickly - as you can tell it was a super hot day and it was melting fast! 

For my page I'm loving the Kraft as it is close to ice-cream cone colour, I've added some pink dots that I've masked with oxide ink before adding my paper layers. I've fussy cut some scallops out of the paper to add a bit of an ice-cream store vibe and made a little banner to the top of the page. 

To embellish my layout I've added a doily - again in keeping with the ice-cream store vibe, and then used the felt embellishments from the Cherry on Top collection for my title and the felt ice-cream - super cute!! 

Lastly I have added a shipping tag and a flair button from my stash that co-ordinated with my page and a little quote "all you need is ice cream".

So Much Fun with Fancy Pants Cherry on Top by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I've got a layout to share with one of the new collections - Fancy Pants  Cherry on Top - perfect for scrapping those summer photos as it cools down here. 
So Much Fun

  Loving this sunrays paper and the perfect pool blue of the paper were perfect  for my snaps of my kids with their cousins on our last trip to Queensland. 
After layering these two papers I have added some co-ordinating papers before  adding my photos. 

   A small cluster with a flair badge, veneer arrow flower and tag for the top corner and then the left lower corner has another flower, some chippy leaves and the title So Much Fun.  

  I've finished the page off with some journalling strips that I printed out and a couple of enamel dots:

Trimming the Tree with Pinkfresh Studios Holiday Vibes by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another share created with the stunning Holiday Vibes collection by Pinkfresh Studios:
Trimming the Tree

For this layout I have used the tradition Reds and Greens from the papers, adding some texture to the page by tearing my layers. Next I have added some extra layers by fussy cutting the word strips from the Very Merry paper and tucking these under my photos to create a frame. 

I've used the ephemera and the epoxy stickers once again to embellish my layout and some gold & enamel dots stars from an old Fancy Pants collection. 

A cute little cluster to balance the bottom of my layout and my title with some gold thickers and Pinkfresh puffy stickers.

Birthday Pages with Bella Blvd

Hello everyone
I have some Birthday layouts to share to kick off the month! I've used the bright and fun Wish Big Girl collection by Bella Blvd to share some of Zara's birthday photos. 
Hip Hip Hooray

For these birthday photos I was drawn to the pinks to capture Zara on the morning of her 13th birthday. I made a watercolour background with Dylusions paints watered down to create a subtle pink against the darker and brighter pinks in the paper. 
When creating my design I wanted to incorporate a few photos onto one page so made the close-up pics smaller to fit them on without overcrowding my page. 

I've kept my embellishments simple, some pretty pink flowers from the Wish Big Girl ephemera pack, some word stickers from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and some puffy sticker hearts. 

My title is the super cute Hip Hip Hooray acrylic words from the Bella Blvd collection. Love them!

"NZ family holiday", by Amanda H

Hi AAS fans,

Here is my page to share this lovely Wednesday.

This will be the opening title page to our New Zealand holiday album. I had bought the New Zealand mirror pieces (which are hard to photograph!), and I'd saved them to add to this title page. I combined it with some 2 Crafty chipboard and some Fancy Pants papers from the "Take Note" Collection to create this page.

I took a number of papers from the Fancy Pants collection and cut them into different panels to build the background. I used some black machine stitching on some paper panels (don't look too close, it is pretty messy stitching!). I also inked the edges of each paper.

Under the photo, I used one of the Frames from the Messy Squares 2 Crafty Chipboard. I inked this chipboard in a dark charcoal ink and used foam tape to mount the photo with some dimension over the chipboard.

I raided my great All About Scrapbooks stash to finish off the page.

For stickers, I used:
* Cocoa Vanilla Studio - You Rock Sticker Accessory sheet - using the word stickers.
* Bella Blvd Puffy Black hearts.
* Fancy Pants - Family & Co Puffy Stickers - using arrows, dots and hearts.

I also added green Kaisercraft mini paper blooms.

For the title I used the "family" word from the Family & Co Puffy Stickers set as well as a 2 Crafty Chipboard word from the Travel Mini word set. The chipboard word (holiday) was sprayed a copper colour, using Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Spray in Sienna. While I had the Colour Shimmer spray out, I also splattered some colour from the spray wand.

This week I am playing with Fancy Pants Dream Big collection to scrap 
another holiday layout.

Don't you just LOVE this gorgeous background paper?
 I loved it the minute I saw it and figured it was perfect for a car themed layout!

I've used co-ordinating papers from the collection, which also tie in with my photo colours. 

I've then used Carta Bella Cartopia Embellishments to add those extra car details before finishing off my page with a 2Crafty chipboard title - Enjoy Today! Don't you just love the police car sticking out - it reminded me of part of the cars ride.

Sisters using Fancy Pants Family & Co by Kerryn

Morning Everyone. I'm back with my next project today and this time I am sharing something a little different. This page is actually about me! Oh and my big Sis. See I do actually exist :) But bet you can't guess where we were. This page features the beautiful collection Fancy Pants Designs Family & Co   I had a ball creating the background for this page, a little mixed media.  Using the new Distress Oxide Inks Broken China, Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans,  I have swiped each ink onto a craft sheet and spritzed them with water. Then dabbing the cardstock down onto the puddles of ink, lifting it and  then putting it down again to pick up more colour. Lacking any creative patience, I have dried off the cardstock with a heat tool  and then flicked more water onto the background. The excess water was sponged away with paper towel leaving some cool water stains.

I have randomly stamped the background with three different Kaisercraft Texture Stamps 

and Distress Oxide Inks Faded Jeans and Fossilized Amber

The 2 Crafty title Sisters are attached @ the Heart was cut into two pieces to spread the words 

across the page, I have covered it with Distress Paint and then stamped with gold ink.

The edges have been highlighted with Metallic Rub.

The 2 Crafty Doodled Heart was also painted with Distress Paint in three different colours.

Hopefully you have been a little inspired by my page today.

I am loving the new Distress Oxide Inks and will continue to play with them over the next few weeks.

"Happy chef" featuring Fancy Pants Family & co., by Amanda H

Hi everyone!   It's Wednesday again, so it is up to me to share some more inspiration!   Here is today's page, featuring the new collection from Fancy Pants "Family & co.".  

With so many bright and happy papers in the range, I layered them and stuck them behind the photo, but also along the top and bottom. For many, I tried to use both sides of the papers!

I kept my embellishments simple for this page, by using a mix of the Chipboard stickers and Puffy stickers from the collection.

Here are some banners and hearts from the packs, and you can also see I used the chipboard frame around the photo. I used the puffy sticker "Happy" from the set for the title, which is too easy!

The chipboard and puffy elements combine well in the clusters. 

Hand journaling on a strip of the patterned paper is also an important part of the page!

I small amount of messy black thread amongst the clusters adds a simple touch.

Just Be Happy with Fancy Pants "Family and Co" by Kerryn Fry

Good morning Crafters! Welcome to the AAS Blog on this lovely Friday morning. Today I have created my page using Fancy Pants Family & Co Such a gorgeous collection with colours that will work for all sorts of photos. I've gone bright and girly this week to match the smiles of my beautiful great niece. She is having so much fun on Master 12's old tricycle.   The background was created with a Heidi Swapp template and Distress Ink. I have outlined the sun bursts using a black gel pen and faux stitching. How cool does the 2 Crafty Flower Cluster look!    A few shades of green Distress Paint for the leaves using the darker colours around the edge. The flower has a combination of yellow, pinks and reds Distress Paint, the center was decorated with a black pen and then finished with a layer of Dimensional Magic.

The Fancy Pants Family & Co Ephemera pack is an awesome addition to this collection.

I've created a cluster with a few different pieces, layering some of them with foam tape.

"Enjoy" by Amanda

Hi all,   I'm back again for another share this wonderful Wednesday.   Today we go with a bright page using some Fancy Pants paper, from the Joy Parade collection.     With these bright and fun papers, I did bring in some white cardstock, for the background and to mount around the photo and papers. I used the different patterns and colours of the Joy Parade papers, in strips and blocks, to build up layers behind the photo.   Another focal point of the page is the awesome 2Crafty Handdrawn Heart, used to frame the photo, which I have inked black and added a coat of Dimensional Magic to.   Here in the close ups, you will see some of the cute little finishes I added to complete the page.  

Firstly I used the Design Puffy Stickers, also from the Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection - this includes the "ENJOY" title, some of the hearts and triangles. I also added some Simple Stories stickers and a flower from a Cocoa Vanilla Studio pack.

I hope you "enjoyed" this page!!!!!
