Awesome, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi all!

I still had some papers and stickers left from the awesome and fun Echo Park Teen Spirit collection. When I found this old photo of our family, it matched perfectly.
Pairing it with these papers made me think how special and awesome it is to be parents
to 3 beautiful girls!

I started with a base of white cardstock, and then layered panel and strips of papers from the collection (papers listed below). I love hand cutting flag bottoms to the ends of paper strips for interest.

I cut out one 4x4 Journaling card "Make today count" from this paper, and mounted it on black cardstock. I took my square photo and mounted it on two papers from the range before also layering on black cardstock.

Then I went to town with stickers and black pen doodling.

For the title, I used the Awesome sticker across the bottom of the photo.

Such cool papers and journal cards, when combined with stickers!

More stickers and a little circle journal spot from my stash.

Awesome collection to work with and perfect for documenting our 3 girl family! Girls rock!

Amanda

Bloom & Grow with Kaisercraft Magenta by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Today's layout created using the pretty Magenta range from Kaisercraft.
A great collection if you love Pink!!

Bloom & Grow
This collection is just so pretty! I have chosen the "raspberry" paper for my background paper. It already has a pretty cluster of flowers on the left side which I have then extended throughout my page.

Some simple matting of my photo then adding ephemera flower clusters and quotes around my photo.
I've used the paper strips from the bottom of the paper to add a quote to the top of my layout and combined with with some paper strips from the patterned papers.

Title Bloom & Grow is a 2Crafty Chipboard that I've inked and gone over with some glossy accents.
Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

A Moment Captured using Kaisercraft Let It Snow by Kerryn Fry

Good morning All!
Today I am sharing my first page created with the collection
A gorgeous Christmas range with silver accents,
but I just couldn't resist the snowflakes in this collection.
More snow holiday photos to use,
Mr 15 wondering through the forest deep in thought.

Starting with a Bazzill Kraft Cardstock base,
I have stamped with the Kaisercraft Texture Stamp - Paint Splatter and silver ink.
The second layer is some old snowflake stamps and white ink.
Once dry, I have added Diamond Stickles to the centres of the snowflakes.

The main paper layer is Snowfall, it was perfect with the trees.
I've cut one piece for the photo
and then hand cut the remaining trees for another layer.
There are also trees in the Collectables pack,
which I have added with some foam tape.

The 2 Crafty Winter Twig Branches were a simliar shape to the paper trees,
I have been covered with Distress Oxide Ink Evergreen Bough
and then added a touch of Diamond Stickles to some branches

The 2 Crafty St Nicks Snowflakes were covered with white ink.
I have added the snowflakes from the Collectables pack as the next layer
and then finished them with the Pinkfresh Enamel Dots as the centre.

The tags from the Collectables pack were a great addition to the page,
I've used them both for a journal spot and to add the destination.

The 2 Crafty title A Moment Captured was covered silver ink first,
once the ink was dry, I have add Diamond Stickles  for a little sparkle to the word 'captured'.
I have used foam tape to add the title to the page.

A fairly simply page this week.
I hope you have enjoyed the process.
Have a lovely weekend, happy crafting.
Please join us on Monday for Fiona's next page.

Lovely, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi everyone,
I am still enjoying playing with the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Happiness Range... here is another page of my daughter looking lovely!
I started with a base of white cardstock. I cut a circle out of the pink Meadow paper. I actually didn't have a full sheet so ended up with joins in the middle. Never mind: I put strips of the floral side of the Meadow paper and some old music old paper across the join!

I decided to add a little mixed media. I used Colour Blast Snow White Colour Paste through a Kaisercraft Grunge Stencil. Then I added some turquoise inks across the middle of the page.

In these close ups, you can see the background detail, as well as the embellishment clusters.

I loved using some of the floral diecuts from the Happiness collection on this page. I put some of them on foam tape for dimension.

I framed the photo in a diecut frame from the pack, and layered more diecuts and stickers on top.

I used lots of the stickers, especially the word stickers, as well as diecuts around the page.

You can also see I took some time to hand stitch around the circle. Not something I do often, but I love the effect.

Thanks for looking today,

Amanda

Happy Memories
with Pinkfresh Just a Little Lovely
by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Continuing my shares with the beautiful Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely collection.
Lots of pastel goodness in this page today:

Happy Memories
The colours in this beautiful background paper "Possibility" are just perfect for my photo. I love all the mix of colours and didn't want to hide too much of the design so have kept my page simple, with a few paper layers to mount my photo and a couple of small banners in matching plain colours.
I've used the ephemera die-cuts and some puffy flowers from the Puffy Phrase stickers to embellish my layout, finishing off with some co-ordinating enamel dots from the range.
Some close-ups of the clusters:
Again I have used the awesome Puffy Phrase Stickers for my title - love how big these are but they co-ordinate with the paper so well they don't overpower the softness of the layout.
 Thanks for stopping by
Till next week

Live Your Adventure using Kaisercraft Whisper by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
My project today was created with the collection Kaisercraft Whisper
This range has fantastic neutral tones that worked nicely with my photo.
Mr 15 doing some outdoor activities on school camp last year.

This week the Kraft cardstock was given some colour.
Using a few different brown Distress Oxides and Mowed Lawn,
I have applied the Oxides with plastic and water first.
Once dried, I have used both Kaisercraft & Crafters Workshop stencils
to add a few different ink layers.
The final layer is stamping with Kaisercraft Texture Stamp Paint Splatters
and Antique Linen Distress Oxide.

I have used the inks to frame the photo and paper layers.
The Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide coordinated with the green in the photo.

I have used the Collectables pack to add clusters to the page.
The different foliage pieces were added with foam tape
and tied in with outdoor theme.

I have added some touches of black to work in with Mr 15's outfit.
The photo has been matted with black cardstock
and I've cut a scallop strip along side the photo.
The dots have been added with a gold gel pen.

The 2 Crafty Rustic Tree has been inked with layers of brown Oxides
and touches of green.
I've doodled the leaves and truck with gold gel pen.

I have hand cut more foliage from the patterned paper Ecru
and added them to the base of the tree with foam tape.
The small squares have also been hand cut from the patterned paper Raw.

The sub title words are from the Collectables pack,
given some dimension with foam tape and a few foliage pieces added.

The title is a combination of two title pieces.
The 'Live Your' is from 2 Crafty Live Your Adventure
I have covered the chipboard with Black Soot Distress Archival Ink
and the outlined the words with the gold gel pen.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.
I hope you have enjoyed the post.
Have a great weekend, stay warm
and join us again on Monday for Fiona's next project.

When the day is done, by Amanda H

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing a page I created using the Pink Paislee Indigo and Ivy collection.
It is a great range full of blues and neutrals - I love it!

I started this page with the No 4 paper in the range, as the base. Behind the 2 photos I
created a panel of patterned papers.
I used the 6x6 paper pad and cut and tore strips of the papers. I used more paper
from the 6x6 paper pad to mount the photo.

The page was finished with text, stickers and diecuts, which you can see in these close ups.

For the title, I combined Indigo and Ivy Thickers with some Websters alpha stickers.

In the corners, I combined stickers from the range, with chipboard diecuts.

It was fun to capture this moment of me and team finishing work for the day! The colours in this range were perfect!

Thanks for looking,
Amanda.
