Can you believe we are already into the first week of April.
For my first share for this month, I've created my second page using
I've started with a Kraft cardstock base,
then I've mixed a few Distress Paints, Worn Lipstick, Victoria Velvet and Ripe Persimmon
and grabbed a random doily stencil to add to the background.
The papers have been layered under the photos,
then I've built embellishment clusters using the Ephemera pack
and loads of foam tape.
The second small cluster at the bottom of the page includes
a cactus from the 2 Crafty Cactus Pack.
I have sponged a light layer of gesso on first,
then used Distress Paints to decorate.
Once dry, I have highlighted a few sections of the chipboard with a white gel pen.
The faux black stitching has been added to frame a few areas,
using a black gel pen, I've doodled around the tag and pink papers.
The 2 Crafty Autumn Leaves were started with gesso.
The next layer was a thin coat of Distress Paint Peeled Paint
and then swipes of Twisted Citron and Bundled Sage for highlights.
The 2 Crafty title Hello Beautiful has been painted
with the left over Distress Paint mixed for the background.
Once dry, I've given it a coat of Dimensional Magic.
