Fully Sick using Carta Bella By The Sea by Kerryn Fry

This week's page has been created

with the collection, Carta Bella By The Sea. 

Absolutely love this company's papers,they are extremely thick and have a dimpled textured.The photos are from December 2010,Mr H attempting to body surf on his board.Dad there to offer assistance.

This page has my usual Bazzill Kraft Cardstock base.The background effect is a combination of Distress Oxide Inks,Stormy Sky, Speckled Egg, Tumbled Glass and white ink.I've used a Vicki Boutin Let's Wander Stencil to create the waves.The waves have been highlighted with a white gel penand I've added a little sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue.The small stars have been hand cut from the reverse sideof Border Strips, lifted with foam tape and added some Stickles.

The 2 Crafty Kite has been covered with Distress Paint,once dry, I have inked the edges in whiteand then added white fake stitch lines with a white pen.The kite tail has been painted with white gesso.

The words have been hand cut from 3x4 Journaling card,

they have been lifted on the page with foam tape.

Some elements, the arrow & coral,

have been cut from Sea & Sand paper.

The 2 Crafty Splat Puddles have been covered with 

a combination of Stormy Sky and Speckled Egg Distress Paints 

and then outlined with Stickles Glitter Glue.

Both photos have been lifted with foam tape

and given a frame using a white gel pen.

The chipboard Starfish is from the 2 Crafty Sea Creatures Pack,

I've covered it with Tumbled Glass Distress Paint

and outlined the edges with Stickles Glitter Glue.

I have also highlighted the starfish in the papers

with Stickles.

The word and arrow stickers are from the Element Sticker Sheet.

More 2 Crafty Splat Puddles with plenty of glitter glue.

The 2 Crafty title Fully Sick has been 

base-coated with white gesso first.

Once it was dry, I have lightly swiped the chipboard 

with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint to allow a little of the gesso

to peak through the paint.

The final touch, I have outlined the title with the white gel pen.

The title has been added to the page with foam tape.
