Be Yourself using Simple Stories Bro & Co by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!
Today's page was created with the collection
Simple Stories Bro & Co.
My final page with this awesome range.
The photo is a very young Mr H,
in his bedroom, impressed with his new quilt.
Love his 'cheese' smile.
It seems so long ago!

The base of the page is my favourite Kraft cardstock.
I've enhanced the cardstock with Distress Inks,
Wild Honey and Ripe Persimmon,
before layering the patterned papers.
I have blended the two inks in 3 different areas.

Starting at the top of the page.
I've created a cluster with strips of paper
chipboard stars and hand cut stars.
The smaller 2 Crafty star has been covered with paper,
the medium 2 Crafty star frame has been backed with paper
and covered with Black Soot Distress Paint.
I have cut the star in half to use at the bottom of the page.
Some elements have been raised with foam tape.

The small stars across the page
have been hand cut from the paper It's All Good!
They have been stuck down with foam tape.
The larger 2 Crafty star has been
covered with patterned paper
and sanded around the edge.
The word stickers are from the Cardstock Sticker Sheet.

The embellishment cluster at the bottom of the page
has started with the larger 2 Crafty Star Frame.
It has been covered with Black Soot Distress Paint,
and backed with white lined patterned paper for a journal spot.
The 2 Crafty Mini Camera has been
covered with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint.

The other half of the 2 Crafty Star finishes of the cluster.
The 2x2 Element is raised on foam tape,
with word stickers added from the Sticker Sheet.
I've used a black gel pen to add stitch lines to different elements.

The 2 Crafty title Be Yourself has been covered
with Black Soot Distress Paint.
The 2 Crafty Smiley Face is covered
with Wild Honey Distress Paint.
I've backed the Smiley Face with patterned paper.
