Adventure Awaits using Carta Bella By The Sea by Kerryn Fry

Morning AAS friends!
Today I am sharing another page created with the collection,
The photos are from 2010,
a younger Mr H enjoying a day at the beach.
He was definitely in need of a haircut!
I love how well the photos coordinate with the papers.

A similar base to previous weeks,
starting the page with a Bazzill Kraft cardstock base.
Then using Distress Oxides Inks Tumbled Glass,
Speckled Egg and Chipped Sapphire,
I have created the background effect.
The stencil used is called Radiate
from the Vicki Boutin Storyteller collection.

Across the top of the page, I've die cut clouds
from the reverse side of the 3x4 Journaling card paper.
The clouds have been lifted with foam tape to add some dimension.
The 2 Crafty Kite has been covered with the reverse of Border Strips paper
and the tail has been covered with Distress Paint.
I've used a black gel pen to add details to the kite.

The top photo has been matted with black cardstock
and lifted with foam tape.
The lower photo has been framed with the 2 Crafty Doodled frame.
It has been covered with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint
The darker patterned papers have been outlined with a white gel pen.

The 2 Crafty Tiny Henri Frame has been covered
with a combination of Candied Apple and Fired Brick Distress Paint.
The frame has been backed with patterned paper
and will be used as a journaling spot.

I've hand cut the sentiment from the Border Strips.
The first part of the sentiment has been backed with patterned paper
and added to the page with foam tape.
The second part of the sentiment has been added to the lower part of the page.

The 2 Crafty title Adventure Awaits has been covered
with Speckled Egg Distress Paint.
I've used a stencil to add a second layer of paint to the title,
with a Vicki Boutin stencil and using Tumbled Glass Distress Paint.
Once dry, I've finished the title with Glossy Accents.

Thank you for visiting the blog today,
hopefully the page has inspired you to craft this weekend.
