Be Yourself with Mintay Papers - Lady's Secret by Fiona Siegel

Back today with the stunning Lady's Secret collection by Mintay Papers:
Be Yourself

I do love the background papers and the colours in this collection - so very pretty! I have used one of the scene papers as my background, giving it a slight trim before roughing up the edges and then matting it on to the black paper. 
Next I have layered up some of the papers around my photo, adding some tears for extra interest and texture. 

Love the die-cuts and they are perfect for some extra scene setting - some flowers, a fan , feathers and a sweet butterfly on the right, then on the left  a makeup bag, mirror, rose and brooch. 

Next I have used the Stickers Words from the collection to create my title - Be Yourself and then add some journaling to complete my page.

How pretty is this collection by Mintay? It's called Lady's Secret and I just adore this pink and green colour combo. 
Beautiful 

This large mirror patterned paper really drew me in and chose it as my background, but matted it on to the cool quilted green paper, after roughing up the edges. I then tucked a few cute flowers from the Die-Cuts to add some details. 

My photo I have matted with some complimentary papers - a floral mix of pink, white and green and then the pink neutral. I then lined my photo up to fit within the mirror, like a frame. My next step to embellish and I have used the beautiful die-cuts from the collection and added some flowers, a polaroid, a fan and some cute butterflies!
I finished my layout off with the Paper words stickers for my title and some journaling!

Captivating with Mintay Rust and Rose Collection by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
I have used the beautiful Rust and Rose collection by Mintay Papers to scrap today's layout:
Captivating 

I am a big fan of the gorgeous Mintay Papers and the stunning backgrounds. I have teamed this stunning background paper up with some neutrals - a woodgrain from Memory Place and the B side of the Main paper. Then I added a doily to soften up the page. 
I have torn and roughed the edges of my paper before mounting it on to the pink woodgrain paper #4 and tucking some extra doily bits underneath. 

Embellishing is easy with the super cute die-cuts. I have mounted several of these around my page to add some dimension. The cat in the basket is on the paper but I have used an ephemera one to add extra detail, mounting it and tucking some bits and pieces underneath. 
I finished off my layout with a simple title from 2Crafty, inked in a light orange to co-ordinate with my papers.

Redwood Treewalk with Uniquely Creative Field Notes by Fiona Siegel

 Hello everyone

Back this week with a double page using papers from Uniquely Creative Field Notes and embellishments from Mintay Wildwood Secrets

Redwood Treewalk

I have a tonne of photos from our nightwalk trip through the redwoods and when I saw this Tree Ring diecut paper I knew a double page would be perfect. The design also works as a single page layout. I've done close-ups of each page single as well. 

I have gone for a similar design on each side - splitting the die cut between both papers, using a different halves of each side of the background paper but then tying it all together with the neutral green paper. 

I've fussy cut the tags on the Wild Terrain paper and added my photos over those, adding a cute hessian bow to the tops. 

I've used the embellishments from the Mintay Wildwood Secrets as the small tree ring diecuts match perfectly! I added some fun embellishments such as the owl and mushrooms and finished with some words from the sticker sheet of the same collection. 

Some cute mini floral florets from 49 and Market teamed for a finishing touch. And a cute Pinkfresh button. 

These woodgrain thickers from my stash finish my page off and again tie the pages together.

Wander with Mintay Wildwood Secrets by Fiona Siegel

This weeks layout another holiday snap with Mintay papers Wildwood Secrets:
Wander

I love the designs Mintay create on their papers, you literally could just stick a photo on and be done! This paper was no exception, but I have added to the page. I have chosen a busy background which suits using plainer papers for matting photos, which I have done here, using a woodgrain, a green vine pattern and red with white spots around my photo. 

Next I have fussy cut from Paper 6, creating a tag to tuck under my photo, adding some twine to complete it. I have fussy cut the cute strawberry on a woodgrain circle which has the bonus of hiding the background people in my photo. 

Next some pretty white fantasy blooms from Green Tara with some Mintay leaves, a cute deer from the Die-Cuts pack. 

My title, Wander, is from the Simple Stories Woodlands range - foam stickers, as is the small heart next to the deer.

Nara Park with Simple Stories Simply Vintage Woodlands Collection by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Another holiday share this week, created using the outdoorsy Simply Vintage Woodlands range by Simple Stories:

Nara Park

For my layout of the bowing deer I have gone with the earthy colours in this collection and layered several of the papers alongside each other on to the neutral Kraft cardstock background which I have created a border with a brown pen. Next I have added my photos then hit up the embellishments that are part of the Foam Stickers pack to make my subtitle and a large Green Tara flower and leaves. 

From the foam stickers pack I have used the cute mushrooms, butterfly and hearts as embellishments. Then I have added some journaling strips from the Mintay Papers Wildwood secrets range.

I've cut out the shipping tags from the Woodlands tag elements paper and added some twine to each before finishing off my layout with some cool woodgrain alphas from my stash.

Into the Woods with Mintay Papers Wildwood Secrets by Fiona Siegel

Another fun page with Mintay Wildwood Secrets, just perfect for my photos from
 the Grounds latest installation. 
Into the Woods

I've used the super cute wreath paper here on a cool woodgrain background which I have backed with a red background from the collection. I have brought some of that red into my layout under my photos which I matted with the B side of the 3x4 Paper 06. Also added a doily for a soft effect. 

I've used the die-cuts again to add dimension - over existing images such as this adorable hedgehog, and added some flowers, deer and mushrooms around my photos. 
Some word stickers and my Into the Woods title are both from Word stickers sheet and the perfect way to complete my layout.

Magical with Mintay Wildwood Secrets by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This weeks layout features the stunning new Wildwood Secrets by Mintay Papers.
Gorgeous woodland creatures in wood grains with reds and green. It is just stunning.

I just love the full sheet designs on these papers - you could just add some photos and a couple of embellishments and be done! I have gone with cutting with main detail of paper 3 and trimmed this full length to layer it with a mix of the red and green patterned papers, using a woodgrain background. I've added a chipboard border doily to add some dimension to my page - I've painted it white then added some glitter

I've used some dimension by mounting embellishments over the same image on the patterned paper such as this jar of mushrooms, then I have added some flowers cut from the patterned paper. 
The 2Crafty Mushrooms I have coloured with a mix of copic markers and sharpies for a deeper colour. 

Some more of the mixed Die-Cut embellishments and some cute paper flowers, before finishing off with some journaling words from the sticker words sheet.

One Fine Day with Carta Bella Secret Garden and Mintay See you in Paris by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Today I have created a layout using paper from Carta Bella Secret Garden and embellishments from Mintay See you in Paris. 
 ONE FINE DAY 

I've created a layout using predominantly pink with a touch of black and white. I've used two different pink patterned papers then teamed that up with embellishments from the Mintay See you in Paris Diecuts. I've added some older 49andMarket rubons to the background in pink shades, before adding a flower. 

More of the Mintay diecuts and white flowers from my stash. The words and mini title stickers are from the Mintay See you in Paris word stickers. I've also used some ephemera from 49andMarket for my title One Fine Day and the tab under my photo.

White Flowers

Bonjour with Mintay See You in Paris by Fiona Johnstone

This week I have a fun page created with Mintay papers See you in Paris collection. 
Bonjour

Some fun photos from a recent trip to the Grounds with their Paris theme display! For this layout I wanted to focus on the pink, black and white colour scheme to match my photo and the background display. I have used 2 of the B sides of the Mintay papers and the added some of the gorgeous die-cuts in the ephemera pack that you can see here:

And of course, it cannot be a Paris page without the Eiffel Tower. This is a 2Crafty piece, which I have inked in grey and added over some more of the ephemera pieces. Love the french theme throughout. I have then finished my page with some words and title sticker using the Mintay words Stickers.
