Today with Emerson Lane by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
My final share with Emerson Lane this week. I have really enjoyed creating with this collection and it's stunning colour palette. 
Today

I've used the True Stories paper for my background, love how it has a nice border around the page to frame the layout. I've then used up a selection of my paper scraps from my previous layouts with this collection, layering them up behind my photo and adding a doily for extra texture. 

I've used the sticker sheet and ephemera from the Emerson Lane collection for co-ordinating embellishments before once again using the MME gold acrylic stickers and adding some Green Tara teas roses. 

To finish off my layout, I covered my photo and paper layers, before adding some sploshes of Dylusions paint in Peony Blush to the base paper.

Mr Bock with Emerson Lane by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
I can't get enough of this stunning Emerson Lane collection by Heidi Swapp so have another layout to share with you created with this range:
Mr Bock

We got to see this elderly guy on a visit to our cousins farm when we were overseas recently, he is about 20 years old and just magnificent!

For this layout I have focused on the colours in my photo, the fawn of the stag, the green grass and the blue shed, then adding a pop of pink & gold. 
I've used the Harrison paper for my background, gotta love the timber background papers. I've then added lots of paper layers to match my photo and tucked in some journaling pieces and tags. 

I've embellished my layout with the Emerson Lane stickers & ephemera, and then dug into my stash for a few extra pieces - love the gold hello and bow from 
For my title I found some cool wooden thickers, go perfectly with my background.  Thanks for stopping by Till next week

Forever with Websters Pages by Fiona Johnstone

This week I've a layout to share created with the very pretty Love is in the Air  & Changing Colours papers by Websters Pages:
Forever

For this layout I created a mixed media background with my Dylusions Paints to co-ordinate with the flowers in the Bouquet Branch papers. 
I then took my papers and layered them up with some torn edges to add some texture.  I've used a mix of the two newer Websters Pages collections and some leftover HS Emerson Lane I used recently. 

Some soft flowers and leaves to embellish as well as some stickers and finishing off with the beautiful gold title.

Memories with Mintays Secret Place by Fiona Johnstone

Happy New Years Eve! Hope you have all had a wonderful 2018 and looking forward to all the fresh possibilities a new year brings. 
To finish off the year, I thought I would share a page that is a little different to my normal style but I really adored these Mintay papers, they are so pretty - and I am a sucker for any pink and green combo!
Memories

I have fussy cut the door paper from Paper 01, I have cut the doors and then stuck them down to the reverse side to create the open door affect.  I've used the woodgrain paper as a base and added some torn paper strips across my layout behind the door. 

I've used a few pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard on this layout. The pieces have had gesso applied, then I added some pink paint, edged them with Pinecone Ink and added some sploshes of gold spray ink. 

Lots of flowers added to this layout too, a mix of 49 & Market and Green Tara. 

Love the little wire swirls.

Bliss with Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush by Fiona Johnstone

Back with another layout created with the gorgeous Pineapple Crush collection by Heidi Swapp for today's layout:
Beautiful 

This stunning beach themed background paper was just perfect for my beach photo.  I've added a little stamping to break up the plain centre of the background. 

I've teamed this up with some layers of the co-ordinating papers and then used these super cool transparent embellishments - love the pineapple!!

And a flamingo, because well it's a flamingo!

Then lots of sparkling gold thickers to add a title and add a few embellishments too.

Love This with Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have the Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush collection to play with.  It's a fun, beachy collection but today I have used the more general patterns, particularly the geometric hexagon patterns on the Good Vibes paper to create my layout:

For this layout, I wanted the fantastic colours in the Good Vibes paper to be front and centre so have used a single strip of paper then added some strips of black on either side to make the colours in the hexagons really pop. 

I've added a little bit of stamping to the left of my page, using a hexagon texture stamp, then added some pink sploshes to tie in with the sploshes on the patterned paper. 

I've embellished with a variety of embellishments from my stash including flair badges, rubber charms, stickers & sequins before finishing off with some journaling stickers.

Hi everyone,   Today I am sharing a page with a photo by the pool (perfect for a flamingo!) using the fun Heidi Swapp Pineapple Crush collection.  

I layered three papers in the range for the background: Cabana, Flamingle, and Aloha.

Before I added my photo, I decided to add some more texture. I added the pink hearts using a stencil and some Colour Blast Colour Paste in Punch. I also added some black stamping with a script stamp.

Then I added my photo and started embellishing the page. I used lots of die cuts from the Heidi Swapp - Pineapple Crush Ephemera pack.

Amongst the leaves, flamingo, flowers and spot, I added one pink flower from my Prima Havana pack of paper flowers.

In the top corner I added a die cut to house some journaling. In this close up you can also see that you had inked the edges of the paper and die cuts with some black ink.

And a few sprinkles of sequins also help to finish the page.
