Hello Scrappy friends.
Welcome back to the blog, it's Kel here today to share a page I created using the Simple Stories
Simple Vintage Linen Market collection.
 I really love the navy, yellow and red in this collection and the mix of florals and butterflies. I'm documenting some cute photos of my son and our dog when she was still a puppy... 

I decided to use yellow as my main background paper then cut a large circle to anchor my photos
 to the page. I have used one photos at the top left and two photos to the bottom right with my
 tile running through the middle. 
To the top photo I have used some tags and florals to embellish with a large butterfly to the right
 of my photo to fill in the space above my title.

To the bottom right photo I have used florals and butterflies...

 

To the bottom left photo I have added a layered stickerand a butterfly from the foam stickers..

I used the foam stickers for my title...they make such a statement on a page..

You Rock with Vicki Boutin Bold and Bright by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
My turn to play with the Vicki Boutin Bold and Bright this week, and I have created a page featuring my great niece hamming it up. 
You Rock

I love the design of the arches in this paper - In the Details - so fussy cut the arches from one side as my feature paper, before adding some torn layers from the range then fussy cut some of the journaling tab pieces from the 4x6 papers. 

A little background detail with some Distress Oxide in Spiced Marmalade to break up the white of the cardstock. Next it was time to embellish and this time I bought the Paperie Pack - 200 pieces of mixed ephemera such great value!

Can never go past some foam Thickers and love this mixed pack of phrases - a bit of extra dimension to the page. I finished off with the perfect 2Crafty title - You Rock.

Christmas with Simple Stories Santa's Village by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
I was so excited to get my hands on this new Santa's Village range by Simple Stories
 that I had to create with it straight away!


I decided to make a cover page for my Christmas Album this year:

When I saw this adorable snow globe, I couldn't resist making a cute scene with the adorable elements from the North Pole Bits. First I have fussy cut the globe and mounted it onto the red and white stripe paper so it is slightly off the page.  I've mounted some of the elements with foam tape and tucked and layered other pieces for more dimension

Close-ups of either side of the globe - I added some twine to the reindeer pulling the sleigh! The stars on the trees are from the floral bits pack. Santa himself is actually fussy cut from the reverse of the red and white striped background paper. 

Finally I have used the Floral bits to add some holly to the base of the snow globe and flowers to the top before finishing off with an older Thickers words in gold.

Hello Scraapy Friends!
It's Kel back today sharing another layout using Vicki Boutin's Bold and Bright collection.
 I love this collection so much, it's a current fave for sure!
I'm documenting some cute pics of my son that I love...

I have started by using patterned papers for the foundation of my page, creating horizontal
and vertical strips to create balance. I have used 3 photos, the larger one is highlighted
 by using a chipboard frame found in the collection.
Next I used some 2Crafty 'Grid Bits' which I painted and popped above my smaller photos
and to the left of my large photo. 

 I have used different embellishments on my page from the ephemera packs, paperie pack,
stickers and foam stickers.

For my title I cut the word 'Hello' from one of the papers then used Thickers for my
title which I coloured with distress oxides....

 

 

 I also used a ALL and Create stencil to add some colour to my background...

Coastal Vibes with 49andMarket Summer Porch by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Back with another layout using 49andMarket Summer Porch
Coastal Vibes

I've used a cute patterned background paper featuring a boat and lighthouse for my layout of the coast with the lighthouse in the background. I've added a darker blue background for some contrast before layering up my photos with some of the dark blue and a little green paper. 

I added some rub-ons to my background for some contrast and some tags, then a cluster of mini laser cut embellishments and I've cut out some mini words from one of the papers:

Some more rub-ons to the bottom of the layout and the cut mini laser cut boat element to tie the page design together. 

Finishing off with the perfect title from the chipboard word set: Coastal Vibes.

Hello everyone
Got the summer vibes this week with 49andMarket Summer Porch collection:
Snapshots by the Sea

For this layout I have chosen the background paper with a ready made scene of a lighthouse and the ocean to match my pics from a day trip up the coast. I added a couple of rub-ons to add a little more detail to my background, thenwith the perfect background it was simply a matter of adding some papers behind my photos before adding my embellishments. 
Seahorse rub-on and a cluster made with mini laser cut elements and chipboard words:

I also hit some of my 49andMarket stash of Wherever collection to add some tags. You can see a close up of the seagull rubons here:

I love this fishing net piece from the laser cut elements that adds the perfect frame alongside my photos:

A close up of my title - Snapshots by the Sea using a mix of alphas from the Chipboard word set and some ephemera . I also added a sneaky little seagull to the base of the lighthouse.
