Any Day Spent With You using Lady Pattern Paper Monsters in Space by Kerryn Fry

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing the last page I created with

Monsters in Space Collection Kit by Lady Pattern Paper.

The photo was taken at my brother's house,

Mr H, aged 5, giving me his best cheesy smile. 

The page has started with my usual Kraft Cardstock base.

I've used Distress Oxide inks, plastic packaging and water

to create the first background layer.

Crackling Campfire and Wild Honey Oxides 

applied separately to plastic packaging

and smooshed onto cardstock.  

Once the first layer of Oxide Inks had dried, I've used 

Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide

to stencil the next layer on the page.

The next layer is white gesso with a different stencil.

The scattered monsters have been hand cut from the patterened paper

and added to the page with foam tape.

The 2 Crafty Stars have been covered with 

Crackling Campfire Distress Paint.

The star frame has been backed with patterned paper

and used as a journal spot for the page.

The photo has been backed with Black Cardstock

and the paper layers added under the photo.

The remaining 2 Crafty Stars have been added 

to the bottom left of the photo, covered with Distress Paint.

The words have been hand cut from the patterned papers

and backed with Black Cardstock.

I've added the words to the page with foam tape

to create another layer to the page.

The title for the page has been created from a 

quote found on the bottom strip of the patterned papers.

I have cut it into smaller pieces and backed each part with cardtsock.

The first part of the quote has been added to the top of the photo.

The remaining part of the quote has been added to the right of the journal spot.

The black fake stitching has been added to random parts of the page,

with a black gel pen.

Smashin' it using Lady Pattern Paper Monsters in Space by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!

The page I'm sharing today has been created with the collection kit,

Lady Pattern Paper Monsters in Space.

This collection is so much fun and 

there are plenty of pieces to hand cut for embellishments.

The photos are a 5 year old Mr H, taking on the big trampoline

with his cousins at Uncle Pete's house.

The page started with a Bazzill Kraft Cardstock base.

I have created the background effect using 

Speckled Egg & Broken China Distress Oxide Inks

and a Vicki Boutin Stencil.

I've highlighted the centre of the pattern with a white gel pen.

Each piece of patterned paper used on the page

has been backed with Bazzill Raven cardstock

to give each layer clear definition.

I have hand cut the sun from the patterned papers,

the centre has been outlined with a black pen

and stuck down with foam tape.

The words and 3x4 card have all been cut from the papers.All of the embellishments have been backed with cardstock as well.The 2 Crafty small stars are from the Stars Pack.They have been covered with Black Archival Inkand add to the page with foam tape. 

The monsters have been cut from the papers in the collectionand then backed with cardstock.I've used them as the base for the title.

The 2 Crafty title Smashin' it has

been covered with black ink as well, 

it brings the touches of black on the page together.

The journaling and date have been added to the base cardstock.

You Are Awesome using Lady Pattern Paper Monsters in Space by Kerryn Fry

Hi everyone!Today I'm sharing my second page created usingLady Pattern Paper Minsters in Space kit Collection Kit.The photos are Mr H at nearly 2,playing outside on his slippery dipon a lovely Autumn day.

I started the page with 12x12 Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock.

I have used clear gesso as a base coat

 and then left the cardstock to dry completely.

The colours I have used in the background are

Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Stormy Sky 

and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Inks.

Lots of water and plastic sheet to apply it to the cardstock.

When the Distress Oxides were dry,

I have splashed Black Ink onto the background.

The next layer of patterned paper squares

have been cut from the collection kit packaging.

Each square has been inked with Black Soot Distress Ink

and stuck down to form one large square.

I've used a black gel pen to add a stitched border 

to the patterned paper square.

The small stars have been hand cut from patterned papers,

I've used foam tape to lift them on the background.

The 2 Crafty Circular Panel has been covered 

with Black Archival Ink.

The 2 Crafty Stars have been covered

with Campfire Distress Paint.

The stars have been outlined with a black pen.

I've hand cut some monsters from the patterned papers

and the 3x4 sub title quotes.

The quote and the both photos have been backed with 

Bazzill Raven Cardstock to define them on the colourful background.

Some elements have been given dimension with foam tape.

More hand cut monsters and small stars at the bottom of the page.

The date and journaling have been written with black pen,

straight on to the base cardstock.

The 2 Crafty title You Are Awesome 

has been covered with Black Archival Ink.

I've then hand cut some words from the patterned paper

to add to the title.

I had loads of fun creating this page

and made plenty of colourful mess!

Little Dude using Lady Pattern Paper Monsters in Space by Kerryn Fry

Good morning everyone

& Happy New Year!

Today I'm sharing mt first page created with the collection kit,

Lady Patter Paper Monsters in Space.

The photo is a very young Mr H,

taken in his Aunty's backyard roughly 2005.

The base of the page is Bazzill Raven Cardstock.

I've created the galaxy at the top of the page

using a Vicki Boutin 'Star' stencil,

white gesso and a sponge.

Then I've watered down some white gesso

and splattered it over the stars.

Once it had dried, I have added white pen dots

and some sparkle with a glitter pen.

The planets, rockets and coloured stars

have been hand cut from patterned paper.

I've used foam tape to lift all of the pieces

to float across the galaxy.

The quote has been hand cut from the patterned paper as well. 

The 2 Crafty Stars  have been covered with

Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint.

I've backed each star with patterned paper 

and then with a white pen, I have outlined each star.

The Lady Pattern Paper Little Dude Matt Board pack

was the perfect embellishment for the page.

I've used the outer border to frame the photo

and the little monsters in the clusters each side of the photo.

The title Little Dude is also a part of the Matt Board pack.I've used foam tape to lift it a littleand have added some sparkle with a glitter pen.The extra monsters have been hand cut from the patterned paper.

A fun page to start 2021!
