Christmas Cheer Simple Stories Simple Vintage Holly Jolly Kel Moore

Hey Everyone,
 It's Kel here today sharing a Christmas page using the collection from Simple Stories called Simple Vintage Holly Jolly.  This is a really fun collection with a vintage vibe featuring some really cute icons...the Santas are really sweet.

I started my page using a piece of the 12 x 12 papers that already has a layering piece printed on it. These papers take a lot of the work out of your work and make a real statement on your page. 

I then used the black and cream spotty paper to create a horizontal base for my photos.
For my title I used one of the layering pieces from the ephemera pieces along with the word 'cheer' from the foam thickers...

I tucked some ephemera pieces to the top of my photos, then created an embellishment cluster to the top right of my page to create a diagonal flow...

I hope you enjoyed my page today and you are getting some of your Christmas memories

Hello everyone
Continuing with the Christmas inspiration for this month, I have used more Bella Blvd Merry Mingle and the Doodlebug Tinsel Time die-cuts to create:
The Best Reindeer

Love this photo of my pooch Harry in his antlers and festive bow tie in front of the Christmas Tree last year - the antlers don't stay on long!! 
I've used some of the bright and fun papers from the Bella Blvd Merry and Bright collection in my design, taking my colour inspiration from the Christmas tree and pop of black for Harrys features. I've again used a pink doily to tie in with my page. 

Next some of the super cute Doodlebug Tinsel Time embellishments - these are just so perfect and I have created a little scene with a tree, sleigh and reindeer. Next some alphas - the gold CVS Deck the Halls Puffy Gold Stickers are so beautiful and really pop on the black! I have then used single alphas to add "Reindeer" in a pretty red glitter from my stash.

Calling Santa with Doodlebug Tinsel Time and Bella Blvd Merry Mingle by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Another Christmas layout to share today using Doodlebug Tinsel Time and Bella Blvd Merry Mingle
Calling Santa

I've used a mix of papers from both collections - they are quite similar in colours and go well together! Then to embellish I have used the Doodlebug Tinsel Time Odds and Ends Die-cuts - there are so many diecuts in this pack they are great value!
I found a cute doily in my stash that teamed up perfectly with both the paper and my very pink photo from The Grounds Sugarplum themed alleyway. To this I have added some die-cuts. 

I've used the die cuts to make a cute little string of lights, alternating having them on foam tape and flat on the page for some dimesion and then adding some twine to keep them together

To the other side of my page I have added some more cute die-cuts and then added my title using some old stickers from my stash and then some Bella Blvd Puffy Stickers .

Little Mister Fix It Echo Park Little Builder Kellie Moore

Hi Everyone!
It's Kel here today sharing a page with the new collection from Echo Park called Little Builder. This collection is so cute with lots of building, construction and boy icons. I love the colour palette...blues, yellows, orange with black pops. Today I'm documenting two photos of one of my boys building with a construction set he was given for Christmas.
 Here is a look.. 

I started my page using 3 of the papers to create a vertical base for my photos. I decided to place my photos to the top and bottom of my page with the title running through the middle.
The title is made using a sticker from the sticker sheet. So it popped off the page, I used a piece of the black paper from the solids paper pack, cutting it into a banner to add interest. 

For my photos I layered up some of the papers behind them, layering them off centre... I really like this look. 
My top photo is I placed further to the right with an embellishment cluster to the left, then did the opposite to my bottom photo to create an even design. 

To the opposite side of my photos I added a 2Crafty piece called Framed Chained Circles which I painted black..

and I also added some stencil using a Aall and Create Stencil..

Hello everyone
It's December and that means Christmas!!
So over the next few weeks I have some Christmas layouts to share with you all. 
Magical

This range was just perfect for my photos from The Grounds Sugarplum Christmas theme this year. How cool is the tree made out of ballet slippers?
I chose this Christmas Tree base paper - Peace on Earth,  for my layout then matted it onto the B Side of the Decorations paper. I've used both sides of the Presents paper to matt by photo. Next it was time for some Creative Cuts - cute presents and bows to match and a little tag made using the Checking it Twice paper - cut into a tag and threaded with some twine

I've used more of the Creative Cuts - some pretty baubles across the top of my page and then a poinsettia teamed up with a couple that I have fussy cut from the Wishes paper

The piece I love and is just perfect for my page from Stamperia The Nutcracker die cuts - three ballerinas! They go so perfectly with this paper too.
Then finished off with the perfect title - Magical by Cocoa Vanilla Studio Deck the Halls Puffy Gold Stickers
