Peek-A-Boo | Pinkfresh Studio The Simple Life | Kel Moore

Hey Everyone, it's Kel back today to share a page using the
 Pinkfresh Studio 'The Simple Life' collection. 
I'm documenting a page of my youngest son playing Peek-A-Boo with his cousin.

I starrted my page with this gorgeous background paper which I hand stitched... it was
 a labour of love but I love it!

I layered up some patterned papers behind my photos as well as a large piece from the
 journaling bits. To the left of my photo I have used a tag, a layered sticker, a frame
 and floral diecuts. 

 To the top right I used a frame, a diecut and enamel dots. 

 
Under the right photo I have added a die cut banner and butterfly..   

 To the top of my page I used some paper strips and a cardstock sticker with some enamel dots..

It's a Dog's Life with Simple Stories Summer Snapshots by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week another layout using Simple Stories Summer Snapshots.
The fun brights perfect for my layout of our family pooch:
It's a Dog's Life

I've used a Kraft background for this page and the bright range looks great on this background. I have layered up a strip of the bright stripes on the Keep it Sunny paper and then added some of the neutral green from the B side of the Summer Stories paper before adding some florals. 

I've embellished the page with some Summer Snapshot ephemera then some very old Simple Stories dog related stickers from my stash before adding a bunch of stickers from CVS You Rock accessory sheet. 
I've also made some tags from the tag elements sheet - adding a bit of twine, before finishing the page of with a lovely 2Crafty chipboard title - It's a Dog's Life - which I've inked with Spiced Marmalade.

Fun Times with Carta Bella Summer Sunflower Collection by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
This week I have used the awesome Sunflower Collection by Carta Bella to create
this layout from a few years back at Van Gogh Alive:
Fun Times

The sunflowers from this range were perfect for my photos outside of the exhibition
 in front of these sunflowers. I have fussy cut several of the sunflowers from
  Sunflower Garden paper to start with. 
On my white cardstock I have brayed on some black paint and then used some
 green distress oxide ink to stamp some wire print around the page. 

After layering up some green and yellow papers I have scattered my fussy cut
 sunflowers around my page before adding some stickers from the element
 sticker sheet, a Cocoa Vanilla Studio stickers and the cute bee and butterfly ephemera pieces. I used a punch to add some leaves from the green Sunflower patch.

and a close up of the smaller sunflower at the base of my page, the white cardstock
 layered onto the orange Sunny Plaid paper. 

To finish off, I have used a 2Crafty chipboard title - Fun times and inked it in dark
 green to match one of my papers.

Fun Times | Vicki Boutin Bold and Bright | Kel M

Hello Everyone, it's Kel here today sharing a page I made with the new collection
 from Vicki Boutin called Bold and Bright.
 I decided to pull the cool colours from the collection to create this page of 2 of my boys...

I chose 4 papers from the collection, cutting them at angles then hand stitching
 around the edges.  

 I then used a bunch of different pieces from the collection to embellish my page...stickers,
 foam pieces, ephemera and chipboard.
 

 
So many fun elements to choose from. 

 I love the title which is from the chipboard pieces in the collection..

Hello everyone
Back again with another Simple Stories Simply Vintage Linen Market layout to share with you today.

Super cute pic of my eldest and the family pooch Harry. For this layout, I loved this background check paper with the big rose along the side, but I needed something to balance the right hand side so I fussy cut this long strip from another paper to stick along the side and added a cute foam sticker heart:

Next I matted my photo with some other papers in the collection and added a doily behind - Love that combo of check and the lace from the doily. Then some flower clusters from the Floral Bits pack to match the large flowers on the background paper:

and butterflies also from the Flora Bits pack:

Next step the title, from the Foam Stickers sheet, over a floral bits flower and some little  journaling strips:

Hello everyone
Today I have a layout to share using the Simple Vintage Linen Market Collection by Simple Stories.
Hello Happiness 

I adore this background paper with these giant butterflies and knew I wanted to make it my background paper. This range is all gorgeous primary colours of red, yellow and blue, perfect for my primarily red coloured photo. I added some paper layers to my photo before centering it on the page , being sure not to block out any of those fab butterflies!
The embellishments I've used today are the Floral Bits and the Foam Stickers. I've used one of the larger floral pieces on the top corner of my photo and then a foam sticker and some smaller floral bits to the bottom corner:

To frame my page I have used a strip of paper top and bottom then added a doily to the top before adding the foam stickers Hello and this super, duper cute lady beetle!

and the same paper strips on the bottom - reverse colour/pattern and then a flower from the floral bits before the second part of my title - foam stickers - Happiness and a cute check heart.

My Dad | Simple Stories Fathers Day Simple Set | Kellie Moore

Hey Everyone, It's Kel here today to share a page using the new Simple Stories Fathers Day Simple Set. These sets are such a great way to make pages more cost effective with 6 sheets of patterned paper and a 12 x 12 sticker sheet. You could easily make 4 pages with the cost of the set for only $18.50!
I'm scrapbooking some photos of my hubby with our son Ollie...

To start my page I laid a horizontal strip of patterned paper down towards the left side of my page. I then chose the navy paper and cut out some of the diamonds out of then laid it over the orange paper using foam tape to give it some extra dimension. Next, I used some of the stickers from the sticker sheet to add interest to the top left of my page..

Next I added more stickers to the area between where my two photos meet..

I then placed my title to the bottom right of my photos, using a sticker for my title along with some of the word stickers and stars..

Simple Stories Fathers Day Simple Set

Shine with Mintay Playtime & 2Crafty Chipboard by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
Another share with Mintay Playtime this week as well as lots of 2Crafty Chipboard stars!
Shine

For this layout I wanted to have a large star to match the one in my photos - I got a 2crafty one custom made to size. I then backed it with the stripey paper (Paper 2) and added some pearls to recreate the lights. Next added my paper strips to the layout. 
A bit of stenciling behind to add some interest to the background

But it needed more stars!! First I added the larger stars and backed them with the bubbles paper (Paper 4) then the ATC stars inked yellow with some stickles to make them shine!

Finally added my photos with some paper layers then found my title by cutting a 49andMarket chipboard word Sunshine into just Shine !
