Living the Dream
using Simple Stories So Happy Together
by Kerryn Fry
Some gorgeous snaps of my Great-Niece.
I have started this page with a plain sheet of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.
The black worked well with the bright colours in this collection
and gave them quite a pop.
There are a lot of paper layers on the page, I've used the black cardstock
in between to help define the patterns.
And a piece of Bazzill Kraft cardstock still makes an appearance.
I have hand-cut a number of the elements from different papers,
the flowers are from Hello Love and have been added with foam tape.
The ampersand, quote and box of hearts were all cut from the 4x4 Elements.
More foam tape was used to lift most of the pieces.
The 2 Crafty Hearts have been covered with gold ink

The 2 Crafty Polaroid frame was covered with patterned paper
and then backed with a different paper.
The so blessed and camera are both stickers from the 12x12 sheet.
I've used a black gel pen to add faux stitching to the kraft cardstock
and the floral paper squares.

Joy, by Amanda Hartmann
I started with white cardstock on the base. I also used white cardstock to mount the photos.
Then I used panel and strips of these patterned papers from the range: Comfort & Joy, Deck the Halls, and Merry & Striped. I added these in layers, with torn bottom edges and distress edges.
I used Deck the Halls paper to extra mount 2 of the photos.
I finished the page, by layering and building the stickers from the 6x12 pack of cardstock stickers into clusters.
Check out these close ups:
There are stars, little Christmas trees, circles, banners and little tickets in the sticker packs.
They are fun to layer up in a cluster.
I stacked a few Christmas tree stickers in this cluster! So cute!
And what a perfect word - JOY - Joy on Christmas -
I hope that you find JOY with your friends and families this season!
Thanks for looking,
Amanda

Such an Amazing Day using Simple Stories Heart by Kerryn Fry
Good morning AAS fans!
Hope you are staying cool and not melting like we are down here in South Australia.
This week I've gone back to the gorgeous collection,
There are no snowflakes to be seen on this week's page,
but the photo was taken in the snow by my Mum on last year's holiday.
A great snap of my big sister and I, even if my eyes are closed.
I changed the photo to B&W to blend better with the papers.
Something a little different for me this week,
I've used Bazzill Raven cardstock for the base.
and Distress Oxide Inks, I have decorated the page two different colours.
Once the oxide inks were dry, I have added some more hearts with gold ink
The using a white gel pen, I have outlined a few random hearts across the page
and added a decorative edge to the main base patterned paper.
I have highlighted other paper layers by adding a straight lines around the edge.
The quote and flowers were hand cut from the papers 6x4 Elements
and added to the page using foam tape.
The stars are from the 6x12 Chipboard Stickers
and added the perfect touch of gold.
Also used the flowers and word from the Sticker Sheet.
The 2 Crafty title Such an Amazing Day was covered with Gold Brilliance Ink,
I have added Diamond Stickles to the word amazing to pop it a little more.
The journal spot was cut from the papers
and then added to another layer of patterned paper.
The heart is another chipboard sticker.
Thanks for visiting today.
Have a great weekend!

What a view, by Amanda Hartmann
Hi everyone!
I love love love the blue and natural tones of the Unchartered Waters Kaisercraft collection.
Perfect for some beach photos, which I always have plenty of!
I started with Pelagic paper as my base. What a beautiful textured paper.
Then I layered and stacked panels of these papers: Tide Pool, Hook and Streak. The blues in spots and stripes look great with the dark wood!
I used more of the papers to mount the two photos and to create the little banner strips.
I created 3 clusters on the page, using muslin layered with die cuts from the Collectables pack.
These close ups will show the 3 clusters.
As you can see, I layered the muslin with shells, ship wheels, starfish, crab and quote diecuts. Such a simple yet effective way to create clusters! I popped the quote tags on foam tape for some dimension.
Have you got some beach or ocean photos you want to scrap?
The Unchartered Waters collection would be perfect!

This is You using Echo Park Teen Spirit Boy by Kerryn Fry
The base is a sheet of Bazzill Kraft cardstock.
I've added some colour to it using the Kaisercraft Designer Template Scattered Stars
and Distress Oxide Inks Evergreen Bough and Wild Honey.
The photos have been added to the page with foam tape to give them a pop.
I've highlighted the smaller photo with a 2 Crafty star frame.
It was covered with Black Soot Distress Paint .
The faux stitching has been added with a white gel pen.
The large 2 Crafty Star has been coloured with Evergreen Bough Distress Paint.
It is the base for the embellishment cluster in the bottom left corner of the page.
I've used another star covered with Wild Honey Distress Paint
and backed it with patterned paper.
There is foam tape between each layer.
The Ephemera pack provided the other elements.
For balance I have added another star to the top left corner.
Again covered with Wild Honey Distress Paint.
The 'so rad' circle is from the Ephemera pack.
I have doodled faux stitching on different paper layers.
The 2 Crafty title This is You has been covered with Black Soot Distress Paint.
Once dry, I have added the white gel pen border.
I have added some Tim Holtz stickers for some extra sub-titles.
