"So thankful" by Amanda H

Welcome to May, All About Scrapbooks fans! Hope you are ready for another month of inspiration from the team. When there is a constant supply of new products and papers in store, it is pretty easy to stay inspired around here! Here are my first pages for May. These are all about some Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart and 2Crafty Chipboard!

To create this page, I started with a piece of patterned paper from the CVS Wild at Heart collection. I then glued down some 2Crafty chipboard: the largest frame from the Sabine's Frame Set, some Bubble Clumps, a few Lattice Leaves and a Leafy Twig Branch, cut in half.

Once I glued the chipboard down, I gave it all a coat of paint with white Gesso. Then I sprayed the design with some colour sprays in teals and blues. I painted some of the chipboard elements and made some splatters in blue too!

I stuck the page onto white cardstock for a strong base.

Then I was ready to embellish!

Firstly I started with diecuts from the Wild at Heart Ephemera pack, as well as stickers

from the Wild at Heart Sticker Sheet. I layered these over the photo and chipboard.

I also added wood veneer hearts and sparkly enamel dots from the Wild at Heart collection, puffy heart stickers from Bella Blvd and paper blooms from Kaisercraft.

I also used a diecut frame from the Wild at Heart Ephemera pack as a layer behind the photo,

which is also mounted on white cardstock.

Also to finish, I added some dimensional magic to some of the chipboard elements.

As a bonus page..... I scraplifted myself! I used the same design and more Cocoa Vanilla Wild at Heart and 2Crafty Chipboard!

To create this page, I started with a piece of patterned paper from the CVS Wild at Heart collection, then added some texture paste through a stencil and some sprays of colour.

Also featured on this layout are the handcut butterflies - butterflies are taken from this piece of stunning paper, from the CVS Wild at Heart collection. You have to cut these little beauties out! I glued them along their centre, so the wings could lift up a little for some dimension.
