Bring it on using Bella Blvd Let's Go! by Kerryn
Hi there everyone.
Another fabulous Friday so I am back to share my latest project.
I've gone back to the versatile
Bella Blvd Collection Let's Go
.
The primary colours make it so easy to use for a masculine page.
The photos are of a much younger Mr now 13, but thought the colours were perfect.
The background has been created using 2 different
6x6 Crafter's Workshop Templates
,
a random splotches stencil and 3 different
Distress Inks
.
I've tried to highlight certain features in the photos when putting the background together.
The arrows for direction, the fine design used with green ink for the grass and
the splotches just finish off an active boy page.
The
2 Crafty Chevron Bits
and
Splat Puddles
have been painted with a
thick coat of
Distress Paint
to pop the two main colours.
Notice there is no glossy or shiny finish this week, kept the finish plain,
macho to match Mr now 13 hard sweaty work LOL!
I have added some foam tape for dimension under some pieces.
I have added a few embellishments for the
Crate Paper Cool Kid Collection
Hope you find my page inspirational.
I think it is a good example of not using a collection for it's intended purpose.
Try not to stereotype a collection by it's name or general theme,
look more at the patterns and colours themselves.
Thanks for visiting the blog today, have a fabulous weekend.
