Christmas Magic with Vicki Boutin Peppermint Kisses by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another Christmas layout using the awesome Vicki Boutin Peppermint Kisses collection to document some more of my Christmas pics from last year:

Christmas Magic

For this layout I created a background using the green and gold water colour paints from Vicki Boutin Printshop collection. The green I have used the plastic bag technique to add to layout then once dry I have used a stencil to add the gold stars. Finishing with some gold splashes. 

I've layered up some papers - a large strip and then a torn piece before hitting the embellishments. I've used 3 baubles from the ephemera pack to be a focal point across the top of the page - adding some green twine to each one. 

I've then used some more ephemera and some foam stickers to add a few more embellishment clusters 

I've finished my page with a title from the Ho Ho Ho Puffy stickers pack. You can see a bit more detail of my inking and stenciling here:

Merry & Bright with Vicki Boutin Peppermint Kisses by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week it's time for some Christmas inspired layouts and my first choice of papers is the stunning Peppermint Kisses collection by Vicki Boutin
Merry & Bright

For the papers I focused on the traditional reds and greens in the collection to create my page,  using the wreath paper as the focus of my design.  I've backed it onto some red stripe paper to break up the white background, then added my photos, matted in reds - keeping them contained within the wreath shape. 
Photos from the Grounds last year - with this giant nutcracker meant I had to use the cute nutcracker embellishment! isn't he cute?

Then I have added a few more embellishments and the title from the ephemera pack to complete the page!

Happy with Cocoa Vanilla Studio Heart and Home by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another layout using Cocoa Vanilla Studio Heart and Home. Love this paper and may have purchased a lot!

Happy

For this layout I have used a white cardstock background with some masking using a Vicki Boutin stencil some Distress Oxide, then adding some splashes of yellow Oxide Ink. I have matted this onto the woodgrain paper. 

Next I've created my paper layers with a selection from the range - choosing the Bountiful paper as my focus paper with its large florals. I have then fussy cut some frames from the Framed paper and used them as the base for some ephemera flowers. 

I've then added some stickers from the ephemera sheet and some cute puffy heart stickers before completing my page with the 2Crafty title Happy.
