Picture Perfect with 49and Market Botanical Buzz by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week I have the new 49andMarket Botanicals to scrap with. Great range for outdoors photos, and perfect for a recent quick visit to New Zealand:

Picture Perfect

The background papers in 49andMarket really do a LOT of the work for you! Makes it easy to get some layouts done, especially if you have a lot to do! For this page I took the inspiration from the background paper and used the matching hessian style paper and some yellow hexagon print. I then teamed that up with some doilies that matched the background.

The various hexagons in this collection are just too cute and I have used then on both corners of my photo with some flowers - a mix of the Die Cut Elements and the Laser Cut elements. Next a tag with some twine from my stash in a matching yellow and a ticket stub.

I added some extra flowers from the laser cut elements to the left hand side and fussy cut the remember this from the advertising strip along one of the papers. I finished my layout off with a matching title "Picture Perfect" from the chipboard set.

Thanks for stopping by

Till next week

Jolly Good Fun
49 & Market Mistletoe and Memories
Kellie Moore

Hey Everyone!

It's Kel on the blog today with a page using the new collection from
49 & Market called Mistletoe and Memories.

This collection is designed by Vicki Boutin and I have always been a huge fan of her designs.
Today I'm documenting 3 photos of my twins when they were about 5 years old,
being absolute hams in front of the camera.
 Here is my page.

For my background I have used two pieces of patterned paper from the 12 x 12 paper pad.
I love the striped paper which I have torn into strips, placing them to the top and bottom of my page.

I have stacked my 3 photos vertically down the right side of my page adding lots of
ephemera pieces, laser cuts and stickers to enhance my photos.

How cute is the Santa?  The Die Cuts pack comes with so many pieces, great variety in
design and sizes.

I have added some of the rubs on to the top left and bottom right of the photos also.

My title is made with the puffy title stickers, then for the word 'fun' I have hand cut the
 letters using some different papers.

My finishing touches were cutting up some of the stars from the star paper in the paper
pad  and adding a few more rub-ons.

I hope you have been inspired today and you check out this collection in the shop.

See you next time
Kel

Captured Moments with
49andMarket Beach Vibes
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

This week back with 49 and Market Beach Vibes for another layout from my daughters vacay:

Captured Moments

I really wanted to use this floral paper as the main featured paper for this layout, I added an orange border and then the the thatched roof paper across to break it up a little cause the floral is pretty busy! I then chose my background paper - the plainer beach scene for the perfect background colours.

Love the thatched roof drinks bar in the Laser-cut Elements pack, makes a standout embellishment and then I teamed it up with some flower clusters from the same pack, matching the paper. I've used the advertising strip to create my journaling.

Finishing off with my title from Vicki Boutin Where to Next Thickers.

Discover Places with Simple Stories Happy Travels by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back with more Japan travel pages, this time scrapping a unique Japanese experience:

Discover Places

For this layout I wanted to focus on the pinks and then added the dark blue for contrast, love the combo together mixed with some stripes and florals. I've gone for a linear design with my papers then teamed it up with some shipping tags, two tucked to the left and one as a quote.

Always love a little twine around my tags, in this instance, just the main one to draw focus to it. I've embellished with some of the foam sticker hearts from the collection and then added some cute paper pink flowers from my stash.

I finished my page off with my title Discover Places, using the foam stickers from the collection.

The Main Attraction
Simple Stories Fun Times
Kellie Moore

Welcome back to the blog everyone!

Kel here today sharing another page with the Simple Stories 'Fun Times' collection.

Today I am documenting two photos of my youngest son and I from quite a few years ago
on the Merry Go Round.... it makes me a little melancholy how fast time is going with
him heading to high school next year!

 Here is my page...

I have used white cardstock for my background then used the star paper called
'Admit One' and created a header and footer for my page, distressing the edges also.

I wanted to add some colour to the back of my page so I used some ink and a blending
brush to add some blue ink.

I have placed two patterned papers down then added my photos on top.

I have created three embellishment clusters around my page using die cuts, chipboard,
 stickers and decorative brads.

For my title I used two of the foam stickers, then popped some of the word stickers underneath.

I hope you were inspired today and you get some scrapbooking time into your week...

See you next time !
Kel.

Exploring with Simple Stories Happy Travels by Fiona Siegel

Hello

Back with some of my travel snaps, this time Osaka Castle using Simple Stories Happy Travels collection:

Exploring

For this page I wanted to focus on the greens in the water and the castle roof and this range teamed that up perfectly with fresh orange and some light teal.

The map base made the perfect neutral background, to which I added strips of paper top and bottom to give extra colour pop.

Next I layered some papers and added an extra photo with a shipping tag before embellishing with the ephemera and foam stickers. I have added some bright orange flowers to match and some older stickers and a go see do enamel brad from my stash.

Hello with 49andMarket Beach Vibes by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Today's layout is a sunrise photo my daughter got on her recent island holiday. Loving this collection for these snaps of hers:

Hello

For this layout I have used another paper with a pretty background and used the laser cut elements to add more detail. First though, some pretty paper layers around my photo, added a tear along the bottom which then starts to blend colour wise with the background, the tear breaks that up and adds texture. For more texture I cut my strip of paper underneath my photo into strips to match the bamboo print.

Of course the laser elements are perfection and give that awesome detail. I have balanced out my page by adding the palm tree element to the left side of my page and then some fun detail with the sandcastle and ball . The little seagull and the rope along my photo are from a previous 49andMarket collection - Summer Porch.

These cute Surfboards I fussy cut from the back of the Laser Cut elements packet - love how they utilise all the packaging. Teamed them up with a floral laser cut and an Island Time chip from Summer Porch range. A smattering of starfish finish my embellishing.

Lastly I added my title Hello, dug through the stash for this wood veneer.

Simple Stories Fun Times
Fun Memories
Kellie Moore

Hello Scrappy Friends!

It's Kel here today sharing a page with the brand new collection from Simple Stories
called 'Fun Times' and as the name of the collection suggests its so fun with lots of bright
colours and fun images.

The collection leads towards documenting things like the circus, a fair, sideshow etc
but there is also lots of options to document more everyday moments with plainer papers.

My page today is about a recent visit with family to an indoor play centre where my
youngest son had heaps of fun - these photos are of him driving the dodgem cars.

Here is my page...

I started with the stripe rainbow paper from the collection called 'Best Day' then adhered
some white and black cardstock to tone the page down.

I have 3 photos that I have placed horizontally across the page, layering two papers
underneath to create a shelf.

I have used the words 'Fun' and "Memories' from the Foam Stickers for my title.

Then I have created some clusters around my photos using a bunch of the embellishments
including journalling bits, brads, chipboard, stickers.

Clusters made with a variety of coordinating elements.

I hope you have a look at this collection in the shop....you will love it!

See you next time!

Kel

Relax with 49andMarket Beach Vibes Collection by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

Back this week with some 49andMarket Beach Vibes for scrapping some warm holiday
snaps of one of my girls.

Relax

Love the colours in this collection, and the preprinted background on this paper is perfect for this photo of my daughter on a recent island getaway.

I have used some of the more neutral background papers to matt my photo a few times and fussy cut the golden sands tab from one of the papers advertising stripe - love when they have that extra bit you can use in your pages and the tabs are awesome!

Next I have used embellishments from the Beach Vibes Laser Cut Elements pack to embellish my page.

I have made a little cluster with the beach umbrella, bag, flowers, coconuts and a drink on the right hand side. The left side of the page that has the busier background print I have added some simple flowers alongside the fussy cut tag.

Dancer
with Carta Bella That's my Girl
by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone

A bit of a break from the holiday snaps to scrap a girly page of my great niece and
one of her on the way to ballet photos :
Dancer

When I saw this cute ballerina paper in the Carta Bella That's my Girl collection,
I knew it would be perfect for this little dancer.
I have teamed it up with other predominantly pink papers and added a pink border
around a plain white cardstock background.

Next up I made my own little embellishment combining a small doily, a fussy cut
circle from the patterned paper and the ballerina stickers from the
  Element Cardstock Sticker Sheet

Next up I have used these stunning Green Tara flowers to make cute clusters
and added some ballet slippers and a cute word sticker to the page.

I have then added a simple title with some pink Thicker Stickers and added
a sprinkling of heart stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet.

Thanks for stopping by

Till next week

Good Times and Tan Lines
49 & Market Beach Vibes
Kellie Moore

Welcome back to the Blog Scrappy Friends!

It's Kel here today sharing a page using the new 49 & Market Beach Vibes collection.

I love the main colour palette of this collection with the blues, yellows and oranges. The collection has a beachy, tropical vibe with lots of fun icons included in the embellishments.

At first glance the collection has a lot of beachy icons but today I'm documenting photos of my youngest son in a pool.

 Here is my page.

I started my page by cutting two circles from two of the patterned papers, placing them to the right of my page. I then used the paper that looks like waves to anchor my photos horizontally on the page, distressing the edges to give them dimension.

To the left of the photos I used a laser cut palm tree with some of the flowers....

To the right, I have tucked a card with some more laser cuts.

My title comes from the chipboard pieces and I have used laser cuts on either side of the title.

Under my title I have used chipboard phrases which I have placed on top of rub ons.

I hope you have enjoyed my page today and you check out this collection in the shop.

Till next time!
Kel
