Hello everyone & welcome to the blog today.
I have another layout to share using Crate Paper Journey collection,
and I've used photos from our travels to the far west of NSW a few years ago.
"Mad Max"
This page is a little different, colour wise, to the previous pages from this collection.
I've used the Journey paper for the background, but have put it on it's side, so that the arrows were horizontal, rather than vertical. I really like the natural cork look of this paper, and thought it would go well with these photos of the cars from the movie Mad Max, out at Silverton near Broken Hill.
To brighten the page up a bit from the brown background, I've added a mixture of more colourful papers, stickers, diecuts etc that are part of the collection...including a few of the
gold blingy bits from the Ephemera pack & sticker sheet.
I've placed the different diecuts & stickers up on foam tape to add a bit of height, and have been busy cutting out more of the fabulous little travel tags from the Voyage paper.
The cute lil camera is from 2Crafty...and I've coloured it with my Gelatos (straight onto the raw chipboard). The small alpha stickers are from the Journey sticker sheets, and the large red ones are from a previous DT kit - Echo Park Capture Life.
Most of the pieces above the photo here are from the Ephemera pack - again up on foam tape.
But the shield shaped Route 101 is from the cardstock sticker sheet.
And here's a close up of the main area of the page.
Thanks again for dropping by today :)
