Kaisercraft Paradiso - by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone

Hope you are all almost ready for Christmas!

Today I am sharing a layout using Kaisercrafts Paradiso Collection. It's not just for beachy photos, I have used it to scrap a layout from our trip to Switzerland! And there are no beaches there.

Kapellbrucke:

I love woodgrain background papers and the Kaisercraft Paradiso Sandy Toes paper is no exception, even better it already has some flowers and stamping alongside it as well as distressed edges.

To create my layout, I used a dry paintbrush to roughly apply some gesso to the background, then distressed the edges of the Kaisercraft Paradiso Tropical Bliss Paper and my photo, finishing off with some embellishments from the Kaisercraft Collectibles and  Basic Grey Carte Postale ranges.

A couple of close-ups:

The tearing and distressing as well as the lightly brushed on gesso, with a cluster of the collectibles embellishments running up the edge.

Some cute banners that come in the collectibles pack and a Basic Grey Carte Postale Metal Pin to finish off.

Thanks for stopping by, and wishing you all a most wonderful Christmas.
Till next time

Fiona
