Best Birthday Ever with Uniquely Creative Flowering Utopia by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I'm creating with the very pink and floral Flowering Utopia by Uniquely Creative! Gorgeous range, perfect for scrapping my eldests recent 18th birthday:

For this layout I have chosen a base paper with gorgeous florals around the border edge so with that in mind as the focus I have just added some light stamping using a butterfly stamp and tiny dot stamp in Orchid ink which is slightly darker than the paper to add some extra interest. I have then added some paper layers to my photo.

Next I have added embellishments from the creative cuts pack around my photo - a flamingo because they are a favourite of my daughters. The pack also contains some phrases making a perfect title and subtitle to finish off my page.

Life's a Zoo and Zoo Day with Simple Stories into the Wild by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Today I have two multi photo layouts to share using the cute zoo themed paper by Simple Stories - Into the Wild. I had a lot of photos from a recent trip to Australia Zoo and decided to do similar layouts. First up:
Life's a Zoo

Love a kraft background for animal pages, add a coloured paper background for a frame and some stamping to give it some colour. I've printed out my photos in a small 3x4 size so I can fit multiple photos onto the one page. I've used brighter patterned papers as the photos are quite neutral in colour. 

Ive used the Simple Stories Into the Wild stencil for my leaves with some Distress Oxide and my embellishments are from the Sticker Book:

My title is a sticker from the sticker book with a paper square cut from the 2x2 Elements Sheet, and then I have added a cute little Australia wood veneer from Kaisercraft which I've had in my stash, to represent Australia Zoo. 

My second layout I did a few weeks later than the first - I still had multiple photos to scrap so I thought I will tie them in with a similar design:
Zoo Day

Again I have  the leaf stencil with some distress oxide on Kraft to create my background then mounted that onto a patterned paper for a border. I've gone with the similar design, only slightly varied due to the rotation of the photos. I've laid my patterned paper out a little differently and used different sitckers to embellish.

SX360 with Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Taking a break from the CVS layouts to share this one using Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush collection:
SX360

This bright, fun collection is absolutely perfect for my theme park photos! I've used the Make your Mark paper as inspiration for my mixed media background - I've used Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citrone, Kitsch Flamingo and Tumbled Glass with some Kaisercraft stencils - Bubbles & Snowy and a cross stamp. 

Once I had my background done I layered up some papers and added some ephemera layers and flowers to my page and finished off with some journaling word stickers. 

My title is the name of the ride - SX360 and I have used the Simple Stories Colour Vibe Foam Thicker Stickers for this, they come in lots of fun mix and match colours!

Little Miss with Simple Stories Boho Baby by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back with another layout using the Boho Baby collection from Simple Stories - love it so much! It is so nice to see these different colours rather than just the traditional pastel baby colours in a baby collection.

For this layout I have focused on the browns and yellows in the collection, adding just a touch of pink with my alphas. I love a banner so this week I've added a couple of banners and then used a larger piece to matte my photo, adding a wide edge to fit my Sunshine banner. 
I've popped a white doily underneath which gave me a nice circle to make my curved title. I've left the background white so the title stands out, but added a black border with a sharpie to tie the page together. 

I've embellished with the sticker sheet - I love how much you get in these sheets - phrases, shapes, stars, flowers - they are jam-packed! I added some stars from the Rainbow Bits * Pieces pack and also used the tags from the Tags paper:

Christmas Day with Vicki Boutin Warm Wishes by Fiona Johnstone

Happy New Year everyone!
I couldn't resist doing one more Christmas layout while I still had product left.  I decided to use a photo from Christmas Day this year and some Vicki Boutin Warm Wishes:

My photo I matted in leftover red and black patterned papers to match our Christmas clothing, then I have used several green toned papers to design my layout.

I love the large embellishments in the pack and decided to make them a feature on my layout.  To make them pop on the white cardstock I used some watercolour paints to make a light green background and added some darker green sploshes. 

I added some cute Kaisercraft Wood veneers from my stash to my design and some foam dots from the Warm Wishes Puffy Phrase stickers. 
Then on the other corner I have added this cute tree and present and a subtitle Family Time to go with my main title Christmas Day. Both of these are from the VB Warm Wishes Puffy Phrase Stickers

Deck the Halls with Uniquely Creative Merry & Magical by Fiona Johnstone

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and if you are lucky gotten a few days off! 
This week I have the last of my Christmas layouts to end the year on, using the beautiful Merry & Magical collection from Uniquely Creative. 
Deck the Halls

I love this collection, mainly for the colours that are similar to those on my 2nd Christmas Tree. I added a piece of black paper from a different Christmas collection and some black cardstock to bring in more black to match the trees colour and make the other colours pop! 

Love the rays affect on the Christmas Spirit paper and used this as my base before adding extra paper layers then using the perfect ephemera embellishments to create my clusters. 

I found a cute flair button in my stash that went perfectly with the design:

I've finished off my page with some older Kaisercraft rhinestones - adding them where the little stars were on the background paper and using an ephemera piece for my title.

Nutcrackers with Vicki Boutin Warm Wishes by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Another Christmas layout today, another with the funky Warm Wishes collection
by Vicki Boutin. 
Nutcrackers:

For this page I have really utilised the background paper, adding a few simple paper layers to my photo and placing it between the flowers on the background page.  I've added some simple ephemera pieces - the star banner, tag and bow as embellishments. 

My title and subtitle have been created using the tag on the background paper - I have added the Happy Holidays from one of the advertising strips on the paper base (also a similar one on the Happy Holidays paper)  before finishing with an ephemera holly & ivy. Lastly my title is made with some alpha stickers from my stash.

Enjoy the Journey with Pinkfresh Studio The Best Day by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Today I have another layout created with Pinkfresh Studio's The Best Day.
I have used lots of patterned paper layers for this page:

My first paper choice for this page was the gorgeous leaf print of the So Thankful paper which I wanted to use for my background. I added some torn paper layers from the other papers in the collection to the top and bottom of my layout - fussy cutting the Thankful from the Together is My Fave paper as well as the floral circle I used to embellish. I matted my photo in the light pink paper and added a couple of banners to the side. 

Love the cute bike from the Best Day Ephemera pack and teamed this up with embellishments from the Floral Ephemera pack and the Cardstock Sticker Sheet. 

Extra embellishments include  a cream doily and a cream Green Tara cherry blossom to compliment my off white background. I finished with some wood veneer bits and my 2Crafty title "Enjoy the Journey" both painted grey to match the range and then I added some cream and grey enamel hearts from my stash to finish the page.

Life's Beachy with Simple Stories Vintage Coastal Collection by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have the re-released Simple Stories Vintage Coastal collection to play with! So happy it is re-released as I was able to get around to using what I had and get new pieces too!

I love this background paper and had the perfect photo! I mounted the pic in some pink to tie in with the frangipanis and some patterned paper to give me a pop of green before moving on to the embellishments. 

The sticker sheet and floral bits packs contain so much stuff and I love that the stickers some like their own little cluster like the one with the starfish above.
Then I have made my own little cluster using both and also some puffy foam heart from the foam stickers set. 

I've complimented the early starfish with this little cluster across the top of mypage - love the dimension the foam stickers add to the layout.

My title is also from the foam stickers set - love the giant word, perfect title and I have just added some Kaisercraft stickers to finish off my title.

Forest Path with Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Today I have another layout to share with the gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms:

I love this gorgeous green patterned paper - Handkerchief:

But it was a little busy, so I got my craft knife and cut around the border of it to frame my layout. Next I used some distress oxide ink in Rustic Wilderness to create a softer green background, then added some texture with a VB stencil and some opaque texture paste. Then some stamping with distress ink in Mowed Lawn. 

Then it was a few papers layers - utilising the pink in one of the girls jumpers and because pink and green always go well together!

Next was to hit the floral ephemera pack hard! Lots of pretty florals to frame my photo and adding some regular ephemera pack for words and tags, as well as cutting out words from the Happy Place paper to use. I've also used some stickers and embellishments from previous Pinkfresh collections - I find this the easiest way to mix and match ranges. 

And finally the title to finish off - Happy Blooms Puffy Alpha Stickers!
