Lucky using Simple Stories
So Happy Together

Hi everyone, welcome to 2020 at AAS! I've managed to squeeze one more page out of the collection Simple Stories So Happy Together, while waiting for my next parcel. More photos from my archives of a younger Mr 15 and his youngest cousin from Brisbane. Some sweet photos with that pop of coral.

This week I've gone back to my favourite base, starting the page with a sheet of plain Kraft cardstock. I've layered the patterned papers and added faux stitching to a few different pieces with a black gel pen.

Some of the flowers, words and the tabs are from the 12x12 sticker sheet. I've then hand-cut some different elements from the patterned papers. The houses, the remaining flowers and small words, have all come from the papers. That is what I love the most about Simple Stories collections.

The 12x12 Sticker Sheet had the perfect words

to add to different parts of the page.

Those have been lifted with foam tape to give more dimension.

The small frames have been hand-cut from My Family,

I've used foam tape to raise a few of the frames

and then added some small words cut from Our Story

The 2x2 Elements provided the heart

and then the 12x12 sticker sheet provided the embellishments.

The journal spot was cut from the 4x6 Elements.

More faux stitching added to a few of the pieces.

The 2 Crafty title Lucky has been painted in layers.

I've used a mixture of Evergreen Bough and Iced Spruce Distress Paint

to achieve the matching colour for the page.

Once the paint was dry, I've swiped the edges with Gold Metallic Rub.

Love the finish!

Farewell post from Amanda

Hi everyone!

Firstly, Happy New Year!

Since March 2017, I have been sharing pages for All About Scrapbooks with you every Wednesday. Today is my last Wednesday share for All About Scrapbooks.

I have LOVED every second of designing for this incredible store. I want to thank Vanessa very much for the chance to work with her and all the amazing products she has in store.

Working for AAS has allowed me to continue my love for patterned papers and stickers, and to design alongside Kerryn and Fiona has been inspiring and fun!

So today, as I say goodbye, I thought I could share just some of my favourite pages for my time here. Enjoy!

Joy with Pinkfresh Studio Home for the Holidays by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
Back to finish the year with another Christmas page using the Pinkfresh Studio collection Home for the Holidays:
Joy

I love this patterned paper with it's navy background and wanted to use it as a featured background paper. To compliment this I have used the patterned Tree paper with it's white background to break up the blue and added a touch of red in patterned paper and washi tape.

Simple embellishments to compliment the busyness of the patterned paper. I've used the ephemera & stickers from the Home for the Holidays collection.

I've finished my layout with this super fab acrylic title I have been holding onto by Bella Blvd - Joy.

Living the Dream
using Simple Stories So Happy Together

Good morning everyone. I hope you've had a fabulous Christmas. Today I am sharing another page created with Simple Stories So Happy Together. The colours in this range were perfect for the photos.

Some gorgeous snaps of my Great-Niece.

I have started this page with a plain sheet of Bazzill Raven Cardstock.

The black worked well with the bright colours in this collection

and gave them quite a pop.

There are a lot of paper layers on the page, I've used the black cardstock

in between to help define the patterns.

And a piece of Bazzill Kraft cardstock still makes an appearance.

I have hand-cut a number of the elements from different papers,

the flowers are from Hello Love and have been added with foam tape.

The ampersand, quote and box of hearts were all cut from the 4x4 Elements.

More foam tape was used to lift most of the pieces.
The 2 Crafty Hearts have been covered with gold ink

The 2 Crafty Polaroid frame was covered with patterned paper

and then backed with a different paper.

The so blessed and camera are both stickers from the 12x12 sheet.
I've used a black gel pen to add faux stitching to the kraft cardstock
and the floral paper squares.

The 2 Crafty title Living The Dream was kept fairly simple, covered with gold ink and added to the base of the photo.

Hi everyone, Merry Christmas for 2019! What better way to celebrate in a scrappy way, than to share a Christmas page. In fact, these photos are from this time last year - and the girls waking up to a pile of presents under the Christmas tree. For this moment, I used the Holly Jolly collection from My Minds Eye.

I started with white cardstock on the base. I also used white cardstock to mount the photos.

Then I used panel and strips of these patterned papers from the range: Comfort & Joy, Deck the Halls, and Merry & Striped. I added these in layers, with torn bottom edges and distress edges.

I used Deck the Halls paper to extra mount 2 of the photos.

I finished the page, by layering and building the stickers from the 6x12 pack of cardstock stickers into clusters.

Check out these close ups:

There are stars, little Christmas trees, circles, banners and little tickets in the sticker packs.

They are fun to layer up in a cluster.

I stacked a few Christmas tree stickers in this cluster! So cute!

And what a perfect word - JOY - Joy on Christmas -
