Hello with 49andMarket Beach Vibes by Fiona Siegel

Today's layout is a sunrise photo my daughter got on her recent island holiday. Loving this collection for these snaps of hers:

For this layout I have used another paper with a pretty background and used the laser cut elements to add more detail. First though, some pretty paper layers around my photo, added a tear along the bottom which then starts to blend colour wise with the background, the tear breaks that up and adds texture. For more texture I cut my strip of paper underneath my photo into strips to match the bamboo print. 

Of course the laser elements are perfection and give that awesome detail. I have balanced out my page by adding the palm tree element to the left side of my page and then some fun detail with the sandcastle and ball . The little seagull and the rope along my photo are from a previous 49andMarket collection - Summer Porch. 

These cute Surfboards I fussy cut from the back of the Laser Cut elements packet - love how they utilise all the packaging. Teamed them up with a floral laser cut and an Island Time chip from Summer Porch range. A smattering of starfish finish my embellishing. 
Lastly I added my title Hello, dug through the stash for this wood veneer.

Wander with Mintay Wildwood Secrets by Fiona Siegel

This weeks layout another holiday snap with Mintay papers Wildwood Secrets:
Wander

I love the designs Mintay create on their papers, you literally could just stick a photo on and be done! This paper was no exception, but I have added to the page. I have chosen a busy background which suits using plainer papers for matting photos, which I have done here, using a woodgrain, a green vine pattern and red with white spots around my photo. 

Next I have fussy cut from Paper 6, creating a tag to tuck under my photo, adding some twine to complete it. I have fussy cut the cute strawberry on a woodgrain circle which has the bonus of hiding the background people in my photo. 

Next some pretty white fantasy blooms from Green Tara with some Mintay leaves, a cute deer from the Die-Cuts pack. 

My title, Wander, is from the Simple Stories Woodlands range - foam stickers, as is the small heart next to the deer.

Hope all the mums had a lovely Mothers Day yesterday.
 After yesterday I thought a photo of my girls and I would be the perfect choice to share.
 I have created this with the new Vicki Boutin Cut & Paste collection:

I loved this gorgeous floral wreath paper as soon as I saw it and decided it would be the perfect choice for this photo. I teamed it up with a plainer B side paper to create a contrasting matt background, then used the same paper to matt my photo, before adding some of the advertising strips as layers and fussy cutting some scallops for under my photo. 

Next I have hit up the ephemera icons embellishment packet to grab some flowers to add around the wreath using some mounting tape to add dimension. A large butterfly from the ephemera and a smaller butterfly and gold hearts and dots from the cardstock sticker sheets. The my heart vellum also from the ephemera pack which contains a mix of vellum and cardstock icons. 

I finished the page off with an assortment of words to form my title, these are all from the ephemera titles pack.

Magical with Mintay Wildwood Secrets by Fiona Siegel

This weeks layout features the stunning new Wildwood Secrets by Mintay Papers.
Gorgeous woodland creatures in wood grains with reds and green. It is just stunning.

I just love the full sheet designs on these papers - you could just add some photos and a couple of embellishments and be done! I have gone with cutting with main detail of paper 3 and trimmed this full length to layer it with a mix of the red and green patterned papers, using a woodgrain background. I've added a chipboard border doily to add some dimension to my page - I've painted it white then added some glitter

I've used some dimension by mounting embellishments over the same image on the patterned paper such as this jar of mushrooms, then I have added some flowers cut from the patterned paper. 
The 2Crafty Mushrooms I have coloured with a mix of copic markers and sharpies for a deeper colour. 

Some more of the mixed Die-Cut embellishments and some cute paper flowers, before finishing off with some journaling words from the sticker words sheet.

Love this with Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection by Fiona Siegel

This weeks layout has been created using the very beautiful 
Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection.
 Stunning colours and a huge range of embellishments to choose from!

I chose the lovely lilac shades to be the focus colour on this layout, teaming it up with the other gorgeous pastels and all on a lovely whitewashed woodgrain background. I fussy cut the viewfinder and postcard from the 3x4 patterned paper and handcut a scallop border from the Dreamer paper. I have added a butterfly from the ephemera pack and some flowers from the foam stickers pack. 

Love this super cool camera ephemera piece. I jazzed it up with one of the large decorative brads - Happy Day!

I added a fussy cut butterfly here to match the ephemera one on the other side of the layout and used the large ephemera piece Love This as a title. I finished the page off with some foam sticker hearts and flowers and the small brads from the decorative brads packets.

These are my favourites from the last twelve months! In no particular order:
Heart this 💖

I love the colours in this, very dramatic but soft with the flowers and butterflies.
Also 49 & Market had so many awesome collections this year.

This one was fun, loved using the chippy to document my daughter getting
 her P's and the cute twist on "traditional" boy paper.

This paper was perfect with its' carnival vibes and well worth the effort to fussy cut.
Mintay crated the prettiest of papers!

Some fussy cutting, gorgeous colours and the very cool larger size embellishments
 in VB collections make this a fave.

Hello everyone
A final Christmas layout for the year, this time using Vicki Boutin Wrapped in Ribbons
December Details

I was feeling the circle vibe with this paper - (#4) and fussy cut lots of circles to cluster around my photo - I have added some foam tape to some of the circles to give extra dimension. 
My background papers chosen to match the hot air balloon in red and the black background makes the page pop!

I've used a ribbon from the Vicki Boutin Ephemera pack - using the reversed silver side to match the silver on the hot air balloon. Next I added some glittery silver stars from an old Heidi Swapp alpha pack then finished off with my title December Details.

Magicalwith Uniquely Creative Christmas Wishesby Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
It's December and that means Christmas!!
So over the next few weeks I have some Christmas layouts to share with you all. 
Magical

This range was just perfect for my photos from The Grounds Sugarplum Christmas theme this year. How cool is the tree made out of ballet slippers?
I chose this Christmas Tree base paper - Peace on Earth,  for my layout then matted it onto the B Side of the Decorations paper. I've used both sides of the Presents paper to matt by photo. Next it was time for some Creative Cuts - cute presents and bows to match and a little tag made using the Checking it Twice paper - cut into a tag and threaded with some twine

I've used more of the Creative Cuts - some pretty baubles across the top of my page and then a poinsettia teamed up with a couple that I have fussy cut from the Wishes paper

The piece I love and is just perfect for my page from Stamperia The Nutcracker die cuts - three ballerinas! They go so perfectly with this paper too.
Then finished off with the perfect title - Magical by Cocoa Vanilla Studio Deck the Halls Puffy Gold Stickers

You Rock with Vicki Boutin Bold and Bright by Fiona Siegel

Hello everyone
My turn to play with the Vicki Boutin Bold and Bright this week, and I have created a page featuring my great niece hamming it up. 
You Rock

I love the design of the arches in this paper - In the Details - so fussy cut the arches from one side as my feature paper, before adding some torn layers from the range then fussy cut some of the journaling tab pieces from the 4x6 papers. 

A little background detail with some Distress Oxide in Spiced Marmalade to break up the white of the cardstock. Next it was time to embellish and this time I bought the Paperie Pack - 200 pieces of mixed ephemera such great value!

Can never go past some foam Thickers and love this mixed pack of phrases - a bit of extra dimension to the page. I finished off with the perfect 2Crafty title - You Rock.

Christmas with Simple Stories Santa's Village by Fiona Siegel

I was so excited to get my hands on this new Santa's Village range by Simple Stories
 that I had to create with it straight away!


I decided to make a cover page for my Christmas Album this year:

When I saw this adorable snow globe, I couldn't resist making a cute scene with the adorable elements from the North Pole Bits. First I have fussy cut the globe and mounted it onto the red and white stripe paper so it is slightly off the page.  I've mounted some of the elements with foam tape and tucked and layered other pieces for more dimension

Close-ups of either side of the globe - I added some twine to the reindeer pulling the sleigh! The stars on the trees are from the floral bits pack. Santa himself is actually fussy cut from the reverse of the red and white striped background paper. 

Finally I have used the Floral bits to add some holly to the base of the snow globe and flowers to the top before finishing off with an older Thickers words in gold.
