Happy with Vicki Boutin Sweet Rush by Fiona Johnstone

Hello everyone
This week I have another layout created with the super bright and fun Sweet Rush collection by Vicki Boutin:

This rainbow paper could be my favourite in the collection - I have cut it from the base paper - and created a mixed media background behind the page instead before layering up some paper pieces and then hitting the ephemera hard!

My background is created using the plastic bag technique, then once this dry I have inked a stencil in the matching ink colour. I have used Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass and a Vicki Boutin stencil.

I've fussy cut some tags from another patterned paper and used some strips from another but the rest of the layout is surrounded in ephemera from a mix of Sweet Rush packets - both journaling and icons!
Lastly I used the thickers to add some stars and some extra words to the page:
